The iPhones We\u2019re Giving Away Are Gifts from Your Host, Not Apple<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH:  What is it, the fourth week or the fifth week?  Whatever.  I think it\u2019s the fourth week every caller is offered a brand-new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, and no, Apple doesn\u2019t give us these to give away.  Apple doesn\u2019t give anybody anything.  Even their employees have to buy it.  But with 150,000 employees, you can understand.  At any rate, we\u2019ve only got one big, exciting broadcast hour remain.  I resent that I have to do this whole thing today, but I\u2019m gonna keep at it \u2019cause I can\u2019t let \u2019em get away with it.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  I got a note from somebody who asked me how did I convince Apple to give me all these phones.  Folks, these are from me.  These are personal from me.  It\u2019s all about sharing passions.  It\u2019s Christmastime.  It\u2019s fun.  Spreading the goodwill.  <\/p>\n

Electors Want Briefing on Russian Interference<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH:  Okay, here\u2019s how ridiculous this is getting.  TheHill.com: Ten Electors have requested an intelligence briefing before voting a week from today. “Ten Electoral College electors have asked U.S. intelligence officials for” an intelligence briefing on this so-called hacking by the Russians of our election.  Now, does anybody think that these ten electors just sitting out there minding their own business and reading the news and say, “You know what? I think we need a briefing ourselves.”  What a crock!<\/p>\n

These electors have been found by the Democrat Party and the media and the story has been created.  I don\u2019t deny the electors are asking for the intel.  It\u2019s who put them up to it?  Because they didn\u2019t arrive at this themselves.  That\u2019s… The electors… It\u2019s like a jury wanting something read back before they render a verdict.  There\u2019s no question here what they have to do! (chuckles) It\u2019s all aimed at making as many people think they made a mistake voting for Trump, and therefore Trump\u2019s election victory is actually fraudulent. <\/p>\n

And that would form the basis for Congress — the Republicans and the Democrats — opposing Trump on everything as the remedy for this travesty that took place during the election. And what\u2019s the travesty?  That the Democrat Party was defeated!  That\u2019s the travesty.  That\u2019s just unacceptable, that\u2019s not supposed to happen, and everybody\u2019s going to pay the price, now.  That\u2019s their thinking.  That\u2019s their goal. That\u2019s what they want to happen.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll save \u2019em for tomorrow.  Headline: “Bipartisan Senate Group Calls for Probe of Russian Hacking in U.S.”  Bipartisan group? You know, it\u2019s three people.  It\u2019s Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Grahamnesty, and John… It\u2019s actually four.  Jack Reed of Rhode Island.  It\u2019s four people, and the headline: “Bipartisan Senate Group Calls for Probe of Russian Hacking in U.S.” I\u2019ll tell you what I think\u2019s going on, folks. <\/line><\/p>\n

In fact, I don\u2019t think it.  I know it.  I think that people who live and work in Washington are just numbed.  I think they are flabbergasted.  I think they are gobsmacked.  I don\u2019t think they\u2019ve come to grips with what\u2019s happened here.  It is such a big deal that an outsider has come in and is gonna run that show.  I cannot emphasize enough what an absolute shock this is to these people.  They are terrified. It\u2019s not just the fact that Trump\u2019s an outsider, but listening to him say what he says, looking at his cabinet and imagining what he\u2019s gonna do.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re thinking that he\u2019s gonna dismantle everything that defines who they are.  He\u2019s gonna dismantle everything that produces their standard of living.  They are shell-shocked, they are paranoid, and they are scared to death. Members of both parties.  This is a closed club, this establishment, this collection of elites.  Nobody gets in this club! Nobody does anything like this ever.  Except that it\u2019s happened, and Trump\u2019s cabinet does not consist of people from this group.  Not yet, anyway.  They\u2019re just…<\/p>\n

I think they\u2019re terrified, and they would be happy to join this so-called investigation of Russian hacks.  They\u2019d be thrilled if they could neuter Trump.  <\/p>\n

Intel World Struggles to Crack the Code of an Untrusting Trump<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

From The Politico: “Intel World Struggles to Crack the Code of an Untrusting Trump.”  Subheadline: “How do you brief a president who refuses to believe what you tell him?”  This is another story — specifically about the intelligence community — that I think reflects the fear. Can I translate this for you?  “We are in Department A. We\u2019re in the intel community.<\/p>\n“We\u2019re at the FDA, we\u2019re at the EPA, and we have always gotten away with telling the president whatever.  But we may not be able to fool Trump. We may not be able to get away with it.  Trump may look at us too carefully! Trump may be paying too much attention to us.” (Politico) <\/line> “How do you brief a president who refuses to believe what you tell him?” Subtext to that is: “Oh, my gosh, we\u2019re not gonna continue to be able to fudge things?  I\u2019m telling you, there is abject fear. I believe… I believe… I\u2019ve talked to nobody.  It\u2019s just my personal assessment of all this.  I think I\u2019m looking at abject panic.  I know I am in the Democrat Party. <\/line>\n

Abject panic. <\/p>\n

Childlike fright. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first time in the house of mirrors at the horror show at the state fair. <\/p>\n

All they see is themselves, and they\u2019re scared to death.  And then there\u2019s Trump looking at \u2019em everywhere they turn in there.  <\/p>\n

Dems Fear Another Trump Trouncing<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s this from Politico:  “Democrats Fear Another Trump Trouncing — Leaderless and lacking in a strategy, top Democrat officials worry they\u2019re not ready for Trump\u2019s first 100 days.”  This, by the way, as a little aside? This story\u2019s exactly why Trump\u2019s instinct to move very, very, very, very fast is right on the money.  The Democrats are in total disarray.  There\u2019s no one in charge except the New York Times and the Washington Post.<\/p>\n

The New York Times and Washington Post are running the Democrat Party.  The New York Times and Washington Post are running the Democrat Party opposition.  The Democrat Party itself is gobsmacked; don\u2019t know what to do.  Trump has just got to keep up this pace.  They still don\u2019t know what\u2019s hit them!  They have no way to oppose him other than try to convince people he\u2019s illegitimate.  That\u2019s the only thing they\u2019ve got, and that\u2019s what the media is trying to do. The New York Times, Washington Post, all the associated networks — Politico, NBC — are doing their best to tell people Trump cheated, the Russians treated, Trump\u2019s illegitimate, Hillary won the popular vote. <\/p>\n

They have nothing to say for to themselves.  They have no reason. They have nothing to say to the American people, “You should have us leading you because…”  They have no answer.  They have no way to finish that sentence.  Everything they\u2019ve been doing the last eight years has brought about abject misery and failure.  The only thing they\u2019ve got in their arsenal is to stop Trump\u2019s success by labeling him as illegitimate, and if he just keeps up this pace he\u2019s gonna run rings around them — and I hope he does.<\/p>\n

And I hope he continues to run rings around the New York Times, the Washington Post.  <\/p>\n

American Dream Collapsing for Young Adults<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH: And the next headline says it all. Washington Post (this is four days ago): “American Dream Collapsing for Young Adults, Study Says.”  The American dream is collapsing for a lot of people.  Young adults, yeah.  The Millennials, yeah.  It\u2019s collapsing because they\u2019ve been lied to that there is no American dream.  They\u2019ve been told it\u2019s over.  They\u2019ve been told America\u2019s greatest days were back there.  They\u2019ve been told get used to a country in decline. <\/p>\n

Of course they think the American people dream\u2019s collapsing! The Democrats are scared to death Trump\u2019s gonna show how it hasn\u2019t.  The Democrats, the New York Times, the Washington Post are scared to death that Trump is gonna illustrate that the Democrat Party is why this country\u2019s in decline, not America.  It\u2019s not America\u2019s fault.  It\u2019s not our founding\u2019s fault.  It\u2019s the Democrat Party that is the reason why this nation is stagnant and in decline, and the Democrats are living in day-to-day paranoia that that is going to be exposed.  Don\u2019t doubt me.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
