\nIt\u2019s Crazy How Some Companies Do Business<\/a><\/strong><\/line>RUSH: You know, I don\u2019t know why certain companies do things the way they do. I have an example of what I\u2019m talking about, here. They have to have a reason; I just can\u2019t figure this one out. There is a TV provider that I signed up for when they first offered service some years ago. Now, not that many \u2019cause it\u2019s relatively new, the last two years. And at the time the only service you could get featured commercials. You could watch anything this particular provider had ever broadcast from their archives and their current offerings, but you had to watch commercials. It cost a nominal amount each month.<\/line>\n

Well, they just allowed and offered an upgrade for commercial-free. You can upgrade and pay twice what you\u2019re paying per month and get everything commercial free. So I just downloaded the upgrade and I clicked on “upgrade” and it says you gotta go to the original device you ordered our service on. Well, I\u2019m sorry. That device has been out of service for two years. There\u2019s no way I can go to the original device to upgrade. I want to pay these people money and they\u2019re making it impossible for me to because the only recourse is to call them, and I can\u2019t call them because I cannot hear people like customer service people on a phone.<\/p>\n

And no matter how many times I tell them I can\u2019t hear them, they continue to read from their script. And so it\u2019s impossible for me to talk to customer service people on the phone, so I\u2019m stuck. There\u2019s no way I can upgrade. I cannot give this company the money that I want to give them. And I don\u2019t know of any other outfit like that. If you want to upgrade, doesn\u2019t matter what device you have the service on, click on “upgrade,” things happen. Your account gets upgraded, your billing cycle is new with the new amount, and you\u2019re done.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve got their reasons here, but obviously I just can\u2019t figure it out. But they\u2019re not gonna get any upgrade from me \u2019cause it\u2019s not possible. I\u2019m not gonna go back and find a device — I don\u2019t even know which one it is. I\u2019ve got \u2019em all, but I haven\u2019t the slightest idea which device two years ago I used to originally purchase this service.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll never have this happen to you at RushLimbaugh.com, I\u2019m just telling you. You want to upgrade at RushLimbaugh.com, you can do it from wherever, whenever. It doesn\u2019t have to be the original computer that you signed on with us. It doesn\u2019t have to be original phone tablet or anything else. If you want to buy the Rush Revere books, just buy \u2019em. You don\u2019t have to go back and find the original device. I know it\u2019s probably security related, fraud related and so forth.<\/p>\nCNN Reports Rudy Out of Running for Secretary of State<\/a><\/strong><\/line>RUSH: CNN\u2019s reporting that a source of theirs says that Rudy Giuliani is out of the running for secretary of state. If that\u2019s true, the leak obviously is coming from Trump Tower. It would have to be. But, again, it\u2019s CNN. And I\u2019m sorry, I just don\u2019t believe it \u2019til it actually happens, if CNN\u2019s reporting it. And that\u2019s the way I am with more news, and it\u2019s the way you ought to be. I\u2019m thinking about this guy that called and is all down in the dumps or angry here because people are criticizing Trump and his picks and so forth.
