Two sophomores at Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas, were reprimanded after skit titled ‘The Assassination of Donald Trump\u2019.<\/p>\n

“One of the boys made a gunfire sound effect with his cellphone while the other boy, who played Trump, fell to the ground. The teacher apologized and stopped her students, school officials said. But Harold and Melinda Bean, parents of another student, were upset that harsher measures were not taken.”<\/p>\n

I want you to imagine if this had happened eight years ago or four years ago and it was Barack Hussein Obama who had been portrayed as having been assassinated.\u00a0 Can you believe — folks, I\u2019m developing a theory, and I don\u2019t want to get too deep into it now.\u00a0 The left appears to me to be genuinely imploding, and I mean imploding to the point that low-information people are going to see how wacko they are.\u00a0 I think the nature of this implosion is going to be their marginalization.<\/p>\n

This Trump victory is seminal in many ways, and it\u2019s got its own curiosities about it.\u00a0 But when you look at the news, what Ford has announced — well, Trump announced that Ford is doing and Apple talking about making iPhones. I mean, those are two big things that really deserve a lot of attention, more than just the reporting of those details in the stories.\u00a0 But I don\u2019t want to be misunderstood.\u00a0 I\u2019m not saying the left\u2019s gonna be defeated.\u00a0 They will never be defeated.<\/p>\n

Tyranny is always there.\u00a0 Tyranny is always lurking.\u00a0 Tyranny will make a comeback.\u00a0 They\u2019re gonna win again someday, because of the cyclical nature of things.\u00a0 But we have an opportunity here to expose who they are to the greatest number of people we\u2019ve had in my lifetime, I believe.\u00a0 And I think they\u2019re gonna help us, with this kind of stuff, and I got a couple other examples in the news today.<\/p>\n

I think average, ordinary people who really don\u2019t get political until election time and then the election\u2019s over and they pretty much forget it because it\u2019s not their passion, it\u2019s not something that they devote a lot of attention to all the time, this stuff is gonna get noticed by these people.<\/p>\n

One of my fervent desires has been that more and more people understand who liberals are, what liberalism is, what leftism is, what that ideology is, and I think this stuff\u2019s gonna end up standing out.\u00a0 The better Trump does, the more success Trump has in growing the economy, in creating jobs, the greater opportunity it is gonna be to contrast the past eight years\u2019 dismal failure measuring those same things.\u00a0 And we\u2019re off to a pretty good start given that Trump\u2019s not even been inaugurated yet.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll chronicle some of these things during the program today.\u00a0 But I don\u2019t want to be misunderstood.\u00a0 I\u2019m not saying the left is gonna be defeated because that will never really happen.\u00a0 They\u2019re all over the world and they never gonna go away.\u00a0 Obama\u2019s not gonna go away.\u00a0 But the secret to this is exposing who they are to a vastly greater number of people than at present know.\u00a0 And you\u2019d be surprised at the number of people who do not see anything ideologically.\u00a0 They\u2019re just Republicans and Democrats and that\u2019s it.\u00a0 They like \u2019em or they don\u2019t like \u2019em.\u00a0 Why, they couldn\u2019t tell you.<\/p>\n

Now, they have been brainwashed to think conservatism equals a bunch of things it doesn\u2019t mean, but I don\u2019t know that they necessarily equate liberalism with greatness as a contrast.\u00a0 Mostly the conservative and Republican brands have been tarnished.\u00a0 Anyway, a long way of saying that I think there\u2019s an opportunity here, things like this.\u00a0 In the Obama years this kind of action against Republicans was mainstream, it was applauded, entertainers celebrated it, did this kind of thing, and everybody just accepted it.<\/p>\n

We now know that millions of people resented it and were offended by it and sent the Democrats and their sponsors packing.\u00a0 But now we\u2019re gonna have a different mind-set and a different makeup here attitudinally of the country, so I think there\u2019s an opportunity for these type of things, parents slam Texas high school after two tenth graders allowed to perform skit portraying the assassination of Trump in front of class.\u00a0 This is just oddball, kook stuff.\u00a0 But it\u2019s who the left is, see.\u00a0 The opportunity to expose them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I didn\u2019t get to the San Francisco story.\u00a0 The headline is: “San Francisco Teachers\u2019 Union Offers Trump Lesson Plan.”<\/a> Why kids should hate Trump.\u00a0 I\u2019m just telling you, this kind of stuff is gonna become rare and rare, and it\u2019s gonna stand out like a sore thumb, and as opposed to this becoming mainstream and rah-rah, these people are gonna become stigmatized and marginalized.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s an opportunity here to expose what liberalism is and where it is and who they are.\u00a0 Time will tell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
