(nervous chuckle)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; Thank you.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130044\" class=\"img_right\" align=\"right\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/GOPShutDOWN.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">CALLER:&nbsp; I had a statement &#8212; more a statement than a question.&nbsp; People need to understand, Rush, that if Hillary, God forbid, gets in there, nothing is gonna get done in Washington because of the fact that the GOP in the Senate, as you know, are run by Republicans, and it\u2019s like oil and water; it doesn\u2019t mix.&nbsp; So all we\u2019re gonna have is your typical government gridlock.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; (sigh) Yeah, you know what?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:&nbsp; Same old, same old. Government shut down.&nbsp; It\u2019s just gonna be arguing, bickering in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; The reason I took your call is because I hear so many people warning people that this is gonna happen and &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:&nbsp; It is.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; &#8212; it is a reason not to vote for Hillary because the Republicans are gonna be running constant investigations.&nbsp; I am not so sure anymore.&nbsp; This is another thing. Let me just tell you.&nbsp; In the first place, let\u2019s deal with what he said about it. He meant to include the fact that there\u2019d be never-ending investigations.&nbsp; He put that in there at the end.&nbsp; People&#8230; Those of you who are of young enough age do not remember living through like 1992 to 2000, \u201993 to 2000.<\/p>\n<p>It was a horrible period of time in one sense.&nbsp; The president was constantly lying to the American people, and it got so bad that he became under almost constant investigation.&nbsp; His wife trying to take over health care in 1993 caused all kinds of consternation and constant investigation, and it was a miserable time.&nbsp; It was a miserable time.&nbsp; There was no unity; the people of the country were not coming together.&nbsp; It was divided like it is now.&nbsp; There was no end in sight to it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It ended with a flimsy impeachment attempt that never went anywhere once it went over to the Senate.&nbsp; And this investigation that\u2019s underway now is going to continue after the election.&nbsp; It\u2019s not gonna be resolved before the election.&nbsp; And there are going to be people on the Hillary side of this who are going to be in big trouble, people that are ranking high in her campaign and her support group and so forth.<\/p>\n<p>There are likely going to be serious consequences for the things that are being learned and have been done directly related to the Clinton Foundation.&nbsp; Whether they return? Who knows?&nbsp; We have a tradition in this country that presidents are exempt.&nbsp; There are exceptions such as Nixon, but not very many.&nbsp; We usually exempt our presidents from this sort of thing, like Gerald Ford pardoning Nixon.&nbsp; And I\u2019ll tell you this.&nbsp; I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if toward the end of next week Barack Obama issues a blanket pardon for Hillary Clinton. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130042\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/HillaryObama_INCOMPETENT-LIARS-C3.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if he does it his last day in office, issue a blanket pardon for Hillary, and that\u2019s gonna further divide the country. If she wins, it\u2019s never gonna end, because of who the Clintons are.&nbsp; They are going to be cutting corners.&nbsp; They are going to be doing everything they do for the express purpose of personal enrichment.&nbsp; It\u2019ll be disguised to look like it\u2019s charitable, disguised to look like it\u2019s good works and trying to help the children or help women or help people, but it\u2019s all going to be about personal enrichment.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>They don\u2019t know when to stop.&nbsp; As far as the Clintons are concerned, they can never get enough power. They can never get enough money.&nbsp; It\u2019s just never enough, because there\u2019s always&#8230; No matter who you are, there\u2019s always somebody with more.&nbsp; And as long as there\u2019s somebody with more, the Clintons are going to want it.&nbsp; It\u2019s just who they are.&nbsp; I know these people like the back of my hand.&nbsp; I know them like I know liberals.&nbsp; I know why they\u2019re doing what they\u2019re doing, and it\u2019s about money, folks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130040\" class=\"img_right\" align=\"right\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/AlinskyRules2.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">Yes, she\u2019s an Alinskyite, and yes, she is a dyed-in-the-wool leftist, and so is her husband.&nbsp; But that gets subordinated to their basic human desire for wealth and power.&nbsp; And it goes back to their days in college.&nbsp; The people they&#8230; Where did they go to college? They went to Yale. They went to Wellesley.&nbsp; Who was with them there?&nbsp; They had no business there. They don\u2019t come from connections or wealth.&nbsp; So the people that knew him even then, the people that ended up serving with Clinton in his administration, he wasn\u2019t in the same league with them, class-wise, money or else-wise. &nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s always bothered them.&nbsp; They go to Arkansas, he becomes attorney general, then governor.&nbsp; She has to trudge through the halls at the Rose Law Firm and mess around with cattle futures and this kind of stuff.&nbsp; All of their friends are powerful, wealthy-beyond-imagination Democrats with power out the wazoo.&nbsp; So they started they thing called Renaissance Weekend, and the Renaissance Weekend took place every fall in various places around the country.<\/p>\n<p>There were various people, essentially it was wealthy, you had to be wealthy. Powerful Democrats were brought together by the governor of Arkansas, and it was ostensibly to come together on policy and the future of the country and winning power and all this, but it was about collecting people who were rich, and the Clintons didn\u2019t have any.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An analogy would be, let\u2019s say you work at a place where a lot of the people are paid a lot of money but you\u2019re not, but you work with them.&nbsp; You\u2019re in the same office.&nbsp; And on a Friday they say, &#8220;Hey, you know what?&nbsp; Let\u2019s go to Vail for the weekend.&#8221;&nbsp; They tell you, &#8220;Come on, let\u2019s go away.&#8221;&nbsp; You can\u2019t because you can\u2019t afford it. So you make up an excuse, you have to work or whatever. They go off to Vail and you stay in your studio apartment eating your Hamburger Helper.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well, you don\u2019t like that.&nbsp; You want to be able to go off to Vail or wherever.&nbsp; It\u2019s this kind of disparity that ate at them and they have been on a quest to erase this gap since they\u2019ve been in public life.&nbsp; Look, the Clintons don\u2019t manufacture anything.&nbsp; They don\u2019t produce a service.&nbsp; There\u2019s nothing they do that people would purchase from them to make them wealthy.&nbsp; You make 400 a year doing president\u2019s job.&nbsp; You make 186 as secretary of state.&nbsp; That\u2019s not, &#8220;Hey, let\u2019s go to Vail for the weekend,&#8221; kind of wealth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So what did they do?&nbsp; They started selling access to the things they did have that people wanted.&nbsp; The Lincoln Bedroom, close relationships with them, the president and the first lady, they monetized everything for personal gain.&nbsp; It didn\u2019t matter what it was and where it came from.&nbsp; They leave the White House and Hillary says they\u2019re broke.&nbsp; They stole furniture!&nbsp; I\u2019m not making this up.&nbsp; They literally stole furniture leaving the White House.&nbsp; It was discovered.&nbsp; They had to give it back.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then they set up this foundation and everybody knew that the reason for it was for Clinton to recapture his image that was lost because of the Lewinsky situation.&nbsp; He was a national joke.&nbsp; The name of his paramour became a substitute word for a sex act, for crying out loud.&nbsp; He was a national joke.&nbsp; It was a humiliating embarrassment for him.&nbsp; And so here comes the Clinton Foundation with the Clinton Global Initiative, and its design is to show Clinton as a charitable man and his wife, same thing, doing good works and helping the downtrodden, disaster relief and so forth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And at the end of ten years they\u2019ve got $350 million running a foundation, and that\u2019s what this investigation is about.&nbsp; So how does that happen.&nbsp; How does a president &#8212; he\u2019s not had a job since he left the White House, folks, not a job.&nbsp; Has not had a job.&nbsp; She made $21 million in two years doing 20 minute speeches, 350 grand to 275 grand a pop.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130041\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/HillaryMoney-Air.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">They\u2019ve been soliciting donations from foreign governments while she\u2019s secretary of state.&nbsp; Everybody and their mother knows why here.&nbsp; And when people would donate then they would hit \u2019em up for, &#8220;Why don\u2019t you hire Bill as a consultant?&#8221; Somebody paid him $12 million for two years to consult their business; he never showed up.&nbsp; Best no-show job in the world next to Michelle Obama\u2019s at the hospital.&nbsp; This is how they\u2019ve done it.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well, Rush, why would anybody give him that kind of money?&#8221;&nbsp; That\u2019s right.&nbsp; Wouldn\u2019t give me that kind of money.&nbsp; Why?&nbsp; Because they\u2019re leveraging access to power within the United States government!&nbsp; It\u2019s what makes this insidious!&nbsp; That\u2019s what they\u2019ve got to sell!&nbsp; That\u2019s all they\u2019ve got to sell!&nbsp; They don\u2019t make an iPhone!&nbsp; Their speeches are not all that great!&nbsp; There\u2019s no special insight you get from listening to Hillary make a speech!&nbsp; You\u2019re distracted by the eyes wandering all over the place.&nbsp; You have no idea.&nbsp; Doesn\u2019t matter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re buying access!&nbsp; You\u2019re buying a chance to have the United States government influenced on your behalf so that you can get even richer.&nbsp; That\u2019s all this has been about.&nbsp; That\u2019s who they are.&nbsp; This is all being investigated now.<\/p>\n<p>Look, I\u2019ve got take a break.&nbsp; I went a little bit longer here than I intended to.&nbsp; But I did not lose my place.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; I know.&nbsp; You think that when I went off with diarrhea of the mouth I lost my place in answering that guy\u2019s question.&nbsp; I did not.&nbsp; He then said, after he talked about all the ongoing investigation, &#8220;Rush, there\u2019s gonna be gridlock. You have Republicans in the House, maybe the Republicans still control the Senate and they\u2019re gonna be opposing Hillary at every turn.&#8221;&nbsp; And I said, wait, really?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130043\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/HillaryNEVERHILLARY.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">Can we go back to just this campaign?&nbsp; How many Never Trumper Republicans are gonna vote for her, by their own admission?&nbsp; How many Republicans agree with the Democrats on amnesty for illegal immigrants?&nbsp; I keep hearing this song and dance that, &#8220;Well, one thing you gotta remember, you elect the Clintons and there\u2019s gonna be constant loggerheads, gridlock, all these investigations.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>Where is the evidence that the Republican Party opposes the Democrats?&nbsp; Let\u2019s take a couple of scenarios.&nbsp; Let\u2019s say she narrowly wins.&nbsp; That could give them some guts to oppose.&nbsp; But if she wins fairly sizably, I can see these people being long faced, dejected for two years and thinking that the country doesn\u2019t want her opposed on anything.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I can see the Republicans easily saying, &#8220;Well, we see what the American people said.&nbsp; The American people elected that woman, they must want what she\u2019s gonna do, and we\u2019re gonna get back in the good graces of minorities. We\u2019re gonna get back good graces of women. We\u2019re gonna get back in the good graces of the American people, and we\u2019ll rubber stamp what she wants to do.&#8221;&nbsp; I can see that happening. It\u2019s frankly another reason why I\u2019m not troubled with Trump\u2019s campaign here.&nbsp; I can clearly see that, depending on the size of the election.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_130053\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Trump-Hillary-US-Capitol.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">Now, let\u2019s say Trump wins. If they\u2019re true to themselves during the campaign, they\u2019re not gonna convert to Trump supporters after he wins.&nbsp; You might say, &#8220;They did with Reagan, Rush, people that opposed Reagan, they wanted to get in.&#8221;&nbsp; Yeah, I know, and it could happen again.&nbsp; In fact, there\u2019s some strange things happening now that I\u2019m gonna run by you and maybe see what you think.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>Mitch McConnell has said that he is now supporting Trump and is going to go out there and campaign.&nbsp; And Ted Cruz is gonna campaign with Pence for Trump.&nbsp; And McConnell was one of these guys saying Never Trump, none of the time, no way, no how, and now McConnell breaks months of silence on Trump.&nbsp; We need a new president, Donald Trump, to be the most powerful Republican in America.&nbsp; Why would he do that today?<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; So does Mitch McConnell think Trump\u2019s gonna win, does he think it\u2019s safe to support Trump, or is McConnell just trying to save the Senate for Republicans?&nbsp; Guess we\u2019ll find out in due course.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH: This is Reuben in Brawley, California.&nbsp; Hi, Reuben.&nbsp; I\u2019m glad you called.
