RUSH: We have another sound bite just in from Charlotte, North Carolina, the first lady, Moochelle (My Belle) Obama, appearing at a Hillary Clinton campaign event.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: When I hear folks saying that they\u2019re just not feeling inspired in this election, ha, I really have to disagree, because right now we have an opportunity to elect one of the most qualified people who has ever endeavored to become president, Hillary. No one in our lifetime has ever had as much experience and exposure to the presidency. Not Barack, not Bill. Nobody. And, yes, she just happens to be a woman.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Big deal. Big whoop. Monica Lewinsky had exposure to the presidency, too, and I don\u2019t think you\u2019d say the same thing about her. Gennifer Flowers had exposure to the governorship of Arkansas. Any number of women have had exposure to any kind of everything of Bill Clinton. This proves my point that these people will swallow anything to stay unified if the objective is to beat us, because they don\u2019t like each other. I\u2019m here to tell you that the Clintons and the Obamas do not, at heart, like each other.<\/p>\n

Michelle Obama, I\u2019m here to tell you, no way believes that Hillary Clinton is more qualified than anybody else who has ever been president. Michelle Obama no more believes that we have an opportunity to elect one of the most qualified people who has ever endeavored to become president, no one in our lifetime has ever had as much experience and exposure. This shows you what they are willing to eat, what they\u2019re willing to subordinate in order to stay unified to beat us.<\/p>\n

We simply do not have this capability. Some people think, “Well, that\u2019s good, Rush, we don\u2019t want to win with a pack of lies like this.” Here\u2019s my question, however, ultimately: Why is this even necessary? Did you notice how Moochelle (My Belle) opened this? “When I hear folks saying they\u2019re just not feeling inspired in this election” where is she? She\u2019s at a Hillary event. What therefore is she really saying? What she\u2019s saying is, when I hear folks say that they\u2019re really not inspired by Hillary, I just really have to disagree. So a campaign rally opens attempting to refute a negative premise about Hillary Clinton.<\/line><\/p>\n

Now, all of this to me adds up that she\u2019s not anywhere near in the driver\u2019s seat that they want us to think that she is. She\u2019s nowhere near having this wrapped up, locked up, and ready to roll as they want us to think. If they, a month out from the election, essentially, are still dealing with Hillary\u2019s negatives — and remember there\u2019s some underlying truths here. Hillary does not have a personal connection with most of the people voting for her. Meaning, the people voting for her are not personally invested in her winning. And that\u2019s why Michelle has to add that she\u2019s a woman.<\/p>\n

So they\u2019re trying to drum up support for that. Play the gender card. “Hey, even if you don\u2019t like her, even if you\u2019re not inspired, you\u2019ve got to vote for her because she\u2019s a woman.” Yeah, right? Really? They\u2019re pulling out all these obligations these supporters have, because apparently there isn\u2019t this unending desire to see Hillary Clinton elected. And it\u2019s an important thing to keep in mind. When you start getting down in the dumps and dispirited, keep in mind that the negatives that Hillary Clinton is walking around with are every bit as intense and high as what they tell us Trump\u2019s are.<\/p>\n

And she does not own the female vote. She\u2019s not cleaning up in the female vote. Even sending Michelle Obama out there to do this, period, to me wreaks of something not right. It tells me they\u2019re not ecstatically happy out there and confident with what is happening. But they\u2019re overdoing this. “There\u2019s never been anybody more qualified.” What does that matter anyway? You know, there are specific things wrong in this country and most of them are directly tied to what Hillary Clinton thinks, and what Barack Obama thinks, and what Michelle Obama thinks.<\/p>\n

The things going wrong in this country are the direct result of policies implemented by the Democrat Party. So rather than deal with that, no, we\u2019ve got to talk about why she\u2019s qualified and that alone should tell you all you need to know to vote for her. She can\u2019t make that case. Hillary Clinton does not exude that. This is the problem she\u2019s got. She\u2019s got Obama out there at the Democrat convention saying she\u2019s more qualified than anybody who\u2019s ever been president, including him and Clinton. And Michelle Obama is saying it.<\/p>\n

But Hillary doesn\u2019t exude that. When you see Hillary you don\u2019t think, “Wow, man, we\u2019ve never had anybody this good. We\u2019ve never had anybody this smart. We\u2019ve never had anybody this qualified.” She does not convey that. And so they\u2019re having to tell us that she is all of that, because she obviously isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
