RUSH:  Okay.  Okay, so I can see how this is gonna fall out now.  Because they\u2019re now saying that the suspect didn\u2019t do anything to hide his tracks.  So he can\u2019t really be a bad guy! And, if he\u2019s not really a bad guy, why isn\u2019t he a bad guy?  Let me tell you what\u2019s gonna happen.  It\u2019s a Daily Mail story, an article in the U.K. Daily Mail<\/a> that the bomber, Rahami, is suing everybody he knows for discrimination because he\u2019s a Muslim.  So, see, this guy\u2019s smart.  He knows exactly how the American left and the media and the Social Justice Warriors out there are gonna react. <\/p>\n

Here we have this poor Muslim, poor guy. That\u2019s what Hillary meant when she said we have to empathize and psychologically understand our enemies because this guy was suing everybody. They were discriminating against him because he was a Muslim.  So his anger is legitimate.  This guy encountered what America has become, according to Hillary and Obama, just a cesspool of racism and sexism and bigotry and Islamophobia, and this guy\u2019s at his wits\u2019 end. <\/p>\n

He tried every way, and he still couldn\u2019t stop people from discriminating against him, so what did he do?  He put his bombs out there! But, look, even at that, he only put his bombs in trash cans and Dumpsters.  He didn\u2019t really want to hurt anybody, not really.  Trash cans and Dumpsters? Who goes there except for the homeless?  And the left is known to sacrifice them now and then for a convention or two, so it doesn\u2019t matter.  That\u2019s gonna be the way they\u2019re gonna spin this. <\/line><\/p>\n

He\u2019s a Muslim that\u2019s suffering from discrimination. People have been making fun of him.  That\u2019s what happens to minorities in this country.  He was at his wits\u2019 end, wanted to get everybody\u2019s attention. So he puts a couple bombs in a Dumpster, in a trash can. He didn\u2019t want to hurt anybody.  So the very last thing that we should do is to stereotype Muslims as terrorists.  You mark my words.  That\u2019s how this… I see this right now. It\u2019s exactly how I see it playing out, maybe even before the end of the busy news day today. <\/p>\n

The mayor of Elizabeth, New Jersey, had a press conference, and he felt the need to thank New Jersey\u2019s congressional delegation for the money that he uses to pay the police.  And then Senator Menendez had to speak to praise himself for all of his great work.  So the “You Didn\u2019t Build That” crowd is now out saying, “Look at what we built! We got the money to pay the cops.”  Boston Herald:  “What Could They Have in Common? — Terrorist suspect underwent shocking change after Afghanistan trip.”  Oh, here comes more, folks. <\/p>\n

From the Boston Herald<\/a>: “A man who described himself as a childhood friend of the man wanted in connection with the New York City bombing told the Herald the suspect had made a life-changing trip to Afghanistan two years ago. ‘At one point he left to go to Afghanistan, and two years ago he came back, popped up out of nowhere and he was real religious,\u2019 [the] friend … said of suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami. ‘And it was shocking. I\u2019m trying to understand what\u2019s going on. I\u2019ve never seen him like this.'”<\/p>\n

He came back “radicalized.”  He was just fine.  He was your average, ordinary peace-loving American Muslim, and then he went to Afghanistan.  Why did he go to Afghanistan?  Because the United States is there making a mess of everything — and we\u2019re there because of Bush, not Obama, don\u2019t forget.  So because we can\u2019t keep ourselves out of the world because we do not mind our own business, because we\u2019re trying to take over the world, this guy felt the need to go to Afghanistan and he got radicalized over there. <\/p>\n

<\/a>He came back and started blowing up trashcans and Dumpsters and stuff.  Now, according to the U.K. Daily Mail the bomber is suing the local police in Elizabeth, New Jersey, for discrimination against him because he\u2019s a Muslim.  His father and his brother brought the lawsuit together in 2011.  They said that local residents “had racially abused them and said, ‘Muslims don\u2019t belong here.'”  So the Rahamis, the bomber\u2019s family name, “claimed ‘discrimination\u2019, ‘false arrest\u2019 and ‘abuse of process\u2019 that left them suffering distress, embarrassment and damage,” and their only last recourse was bombs in trash cans and Dumpsters. <\/p>\n

I can see this falling out this way.  You watch, folks.  It\u2019s gonna be something like this.  We are going to end up responsible for this as a country.  We had a nice, peace-loving, typical American Muslim enjoying the fruits of life in America — and the hatred and the racism and the sexism and the homophobia and the bigotry, the Islamophobia. This man had taken all he could. He had reached his limit.  They file lawsuits against anybody he had ever met anywhere for discrimination.  Yep, it won\u2019t be long.  You watch and see. <\/p>\n

And then Hillary Clinton\u2019s poll numbers will continue to stagnate, and Trump\u2019s numbers will continue to go up, and the ruling class will scratch their heads, “What in the world is going on here?” They are totally disconnected in their bubble, and the more phony excuses and the more efforts they come up with to defend these terrorists — which is what the left does. That\u2019s their move. You realize that\u2019s their instinctive reaction?  The instinctive reaction they have is to find some way to explain and justify why these terrorists do what they do. <\/p>\n

The first step of that is not calling them terrorists.  Unh-uh.  They are not terrorists, because there is no terror in Islam, and so next they start looking for the cause.  They start looking for who did it, because the perp is never responsible, you see?  No victim is ever responsible, and this guy is gonna end up being portrayed as a victim of the most evil aspects of our nation.  You watch.  My good friend Andy McCarthy has just posted a piece National Review Online called “Willful Blindness in Real Time.”<\/a>  I\u2019ll just give you a couple excerpts \u2019cause this is right on the money. <\/line><\/p>\n

“In the all too familiar pattern, things are going boom, Americans are under attack, and the American political class is already busy playing the ‘See No Jihad\u2019 minuet. In a rational world, where our highest imperative would be to understand the threat that confronts us rather than to find the least offensive way of describing it, it would be patently, undeniably obvious that we are targets of international terrorism fueled by Islamic supremacist ideology. Nevertheless, the political class can only bring itself to say this kicking and screaming, and only if there is no other plausible alternative…<\/p>\n

“That is because Islamic supremacism is a mainstream interpretation of Islam.” As a result, “[t]he political class has convinced itself that uttering the plain truth would be condemning all of Islam, meaning all Muslims — notwithstanding that no one sensible claims Islamic supremacism is the only way of interpreting Islam, and, in fact, jihadist battalions kill more Muslims than non-Muslims.” See, the point is, when you say that there is an ideology of Islamic supremacism within Islam, the detractors say, “You can\u2019t say that! You can\u2019t tar and feather all of Islam.”<\/p>\n

We\u2019re not.  Mr. McCarthy\u2019s not.  “Islamic supremacism is a mainstream interpretation of Islam … notwithstanding that no one sensible claims Islamic supremacism is the only way of interpreting Islam…” There are many other interpretations, but Islam supremacism, Sharia law is mainstream.  It\u2019s not a bunch of extreme kooks is the point.  It is the mainstream of Islam.  “Speaking forthrightly would also undermine a fiction the political class inanely believes is essential to social cohesion:<\/p>\n

“The notion, oft-repeated by President Obama and Hillary Clinton, that Islam is part of the fabric of American life, as native in our history as apple pie and Judeo-Christian culture.” And, by the way, they do.  Obama and Hillary and the Democrat Party attempt to get away with saying that every opportunity they get, and everybody knows it isn\u2019t true!  Everybody knows it\u2019s BS! Islam is not part of the fabric of American life.  It doesn\u2019t date back to the founding. It\u2019s not as American as apple pie and Chevrolet and Judeo-Christian culture. <\/p>\n
