CALLER:\u00a0 Hi.\u00a0 Thank you for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 So every morning I put today\u2019s date, today is September 8, 2016, and put “Trump” because I want to see if there\u2019s anything good on there, usually it\u2019s all negative, right?\u00a0 So, if I find a good article, I\u2019m gonna click on it, and this one, there was one.\u00a0 It says, “Trump Currently Leads the NBC Who Won Commander-in-Chief Forum.”<\/p>\n

So when I clicked on it, it led to some tweets, and three people said that Hillary was wearing an earpiece last night and had fed answers.\u00a0 So I went and did a search, and I just did “Hillary earpiece” and put the date, and it led to, you know, there\u2019s actually quite a few YouTube videos showing it.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 It\u2019s all over the place.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 But the one that intrigued me was the one that was a minute and 35 seconds and at about 40 seconds it shows an email Huma Abedin, and this was 9\/24\/09, it was an email to her, and this is what she said, is a quote:\u00a0 “Did u,” and she used the letter “u.” “Did u take your earpiece, or do I need to get it?”<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 And so I was just wondering if you had heard that.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Is that something just spread or is that true, because we don\u2019t want her having it at the debate, if it is true.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 First of all, I\u2019m host.\u00a0 So, yeah, I\u2019ve heard of it.\u00a0 The question is, are people getting this right?\u00a0 I\u2019m not yet sure.\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen all the tweets.\u00a0 James Woods, the actor, has been huge in tweeting<\/a> out the idea that she\u2019s using an earpiece.\u00a0 His tweets have been retweeted and they\u2019re reverberating and a lot of other people have.<\/p>\n

There are pictures of Hillary and what looks like some pearl, an elongated pearl thing in her left ear that people claim might be an earpiece. And then that Huma email that you found asking Hillary, “Do ‘u\u2019 have your earpiece, or do ‘u\u2019 need me to get it for ‘u\u2019?” and so forth.\u00a0 I\u2019m still out to school on this.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure, Julie.\u00a0 I\u2019m out of time here.\u00a0 Look, it\u2019s too long to ask you to hang on, but we\u2019ll continue this when we get back.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 The thing about these earpieces is they are common.\u00a0 They are used by actors, stage actors forget their lines, they\u2019re prompted with these things.\u00a0 They\u2019re also prompted for other things, particularly if they\u2019re elderly.\u00a0 A number of professional uses for these earpieces.\u00a0 Whether or not Mrs. Clinton was using one, the jury\u2019s still out for me on this.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This earpiece business.\u00a0 I think it could just be a spare cough drop in there rather than an earpiece.\u00a0 Everybody thinks it\u2019s an earpiece in her ear.\u00a0 Gotta be very careful about this.\u00a0 You know, during one of the debates between George W. Bush and I think it was Kerry or Algore,\u00a0the Democrats said that Bush had a bulge in his jacket<\/a>.\u00a0 And they said that it might have been a receiver for an earpiece that was hidden somewhere — \u2019cause Bush was an idiot, that was conventional wisdom.<\/p>\n

The press had put out that Bush was a cowboy dummkopf and didn\u2019t know what to say, was being fed the answers.\u00a0 That turned out to blow up in everybody\u2019s faces.\u00a0 There was no earpiece or private communication system.\u00a0 Now, the reason why this has caught on with Mrs. Clinton is because of Mrs. Clinton\u2019s character.\u00a0 The Clintons are documented to be cheaters.\u00a0 Mrs. Clinton\u2019s health is also a factor.\u00a0 She\u2019s not all there.\u00a0 She\u2019s admittedly had a concussion.\u00a0 She was out of commission for months at a time.\u00a0 She claims that she forgets this and forgets that, she doesn\u2019t know this, she doesn\u2019t remember that.<\/p>\n

And then you add to it, well, it can\u2019t be denied the age factor, you put all these things together, they have created the impression that we have somebody here whose health is fragile.\u00a0 And we have somebody here who also can\u2019t tell the truth to save her life.\u00a0 And she\u2019s told so many lies that she can\u2019t remember to whom she\u2019s told or said what.<\/p>\n

So now we\u2019ve got pictures, a close-up picture of something in her left ear last night, and it looks like — well, you don\u2019t know what it looks like until others put the idea in your head. Somebody says, “That looks like a pearl earpiece.”<\/p>\n

“Oh, yeah!\u00a0 Yeah!”\u00a0 Like a Rorschach test. “That\u2019s what it is, it\u2019s a pearl earpiece.”<\/p>\n

Then somebody finds a tweet, or an email from Huma Danger to Hillary saying, “Do you have your earpiece or do you want me to get it for you?”\u00a0 And people are thinking, “What in the world would she need an earpiece for?\u00a0 Is she hard-of-hearing as well?”\u00a0 And if that\u2019s the case, why wouldn\u2019t they call it a hearing aid?\u00a0 And while they might not calling it a hearing aid \u2019cause they don\u2019t want anybody to know that she has a hearing disability, that wouldn\u2019t look good, somebody running for president, so “earpiece” might be used.<\/p>\n

Then there are a bunch of tweets that began last night after this close-up shot of Mrs. Clinton, and there is something in her ear.\u00a0 Like I say, I think it\u2019s a cough drop, a spare cough drop, but it could be an earpiece.\u00a0 Then when you learn that these things are used on Broadway, they\u2019re used not just on Broadway, but actors on stage use these, particularly elderly actors.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d be amazed, folks, at this.\u00a0 Learning lines gets harder and harder as you get older, like Mrs. Clinton.\u00a0 And particularly on television shows, they have cue cards next to the cameras or earpieces.\u00a0 They have people helping certain actors with their lines, particularly a very, very prominent, very successful, highly reputed actor that some TV show desperately wants but the actor is near retirement age and the days of really, really hard work are behind them.<\/p>\n

So in an effort to get the actor, make it easy as they can, don\u2019t have to memorize the lines, they have earpieces and other ways of cueing the actor when to say what, and they hone this during rehearsal.\u00a0 And it\u2019s used in Broadway.\u00a0 People forget their lines, they\u2019re reminded. If they forget where they\u2019re to be on the stage, they\u2019re told.\u00a0 So the system exists, and it\u2019s well known to exist.<\/p>\n

And if you put everything together you have Mrs. Clinton with the way they have presented her:\u00a0 fragile health, concussion, memory challenges, memory problems, plus the Democrats, they cheat.\u00a0 You throw all that in the mix, and you show somebody a picture Mrs. Clinton, what looks like a spare cough drop in the ear and you tell \u2019em it\u2019s an earpiece, “Yeah.\u00a0 Yeah.”\u00a0 And I\u2019ve just seen this blow up a couple of times on people, like the George W. Bush example.<\/p>\n

\"large\"Now, don\u2019t misunderstand.\u00a0 I\u2019m not saying that they wouldn\u2019t do it.\u00a0 But I think something so patently obvious that everybody here has seen, I just don\u2019t know that they are that desperate in the campaign.\u00a0 I could be wrong.\u00a0 Actually, I think they are that desperate.\u00a0 I think they thought Hillary\u2019d be at 70%, Trump would be at 30, and this would be over by now.\u00a0 So I think there is beaucoup concern on the Democrat side, and I do think there are a lot of people that think she needs help.\u00a0 And I think the Democrats cheat in any way they can to give her an answer.<\/p>\n

But then look at it the other way.\u00a0 If she\u2019s running around with earpieces, why is she lying so much?\u00a0 If she\u2019s got an earpiece, somebody could shoot her the truth.\u00a0 Somebody could whisper what she should say that would not be a lie, if they\u2019re actually doing all of that.\u00a0 But you can see, if you follow this on Twitter, you can see how eagerly people have picked this up.\u00a0 I mean, this is the kind of thing that develops a life of its own, and it expands, it mushrooms, it grows out there, and in many people\u2019s minds, it is factual.<\/p>\n

And all I\u2019m telling you is that I am not ready to sit here and say with ontological certitude, “Yep, I think that\u2019s an earpiece and I think they\u2019re cheating and I think they were whispering things in her ear to make sure she said the right things.”\u00a0 I just don\u2019t know.\u00a0 And you also have to take into account, you know, the original source for these kinds of things. You have to weigh a lot of things in determining whether or not you want to sign on to something.<\/p>\n
