Under Barack Hussein O, the Justice Department has grown dangerously extreme. Last week, they filed a court brief that proves it.<\/p>\n

In an obscure case in Georgia, a man was jailed for public intoxication. He was held for six days because he didn\u2019t come up with the $160 in bail money.<\/p>\n

Then Obama\u2019s DOJ got involved. In their filing with a federal appeals court, the Regime argued that holding perps in jail because they can\u2019t make bail is unconstitutional.<\/p>\n

In a friend-of-the-court brief, the Regime argued that incarcerating poor people before trial “solely because of their inability to pay for their release” violates the 14th Amendment. The “equal protection” clause.<\/p>\n

The Regime says a system that only releases those who can afford bail “unlawfully” discriminates on the basis of “indigence.” No other Administration in American history has come up with such a ridiculous definition of bail.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what this could mean. A murderer, rapist, or bank robber gets apprehended. Normally, the judge would set bail. But in Barack Obama\u2019s and Loretta Lynch\u2019s world, the perp could automatically get a literal “get-out-of-jail free” card. If they\u2019re poor. Setting them free to prey on society again, while waiting for trial.<\/p>\n
