Obama DOJ Takes Over Baltimore Police Department<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH:  Did you happen to see this? “Baltimore Police Officers Fired as Scathing Federal Report Alleges Excessive Force.” So a judge found every one of those cops not guilty.  Doesn\u2019t matter.  The Obama Department of Justice has once again gone in and commandeered yet another big city police department under the guise that that police department is racist and needs to have some training on spotting racism and dealing with it and that this police department is using excessive force, and so the Department of Justice needs to go in and take control of the Baltimore police. <\/p>\n

What they need to do is take control of the Baltimore mayor\u2019s office and the state\u2019s attorney\u2019s office.  The Justice Department and Baltimore police agreed to negotiate reforms.  There\u2019s no negotiating here.  I mean, there\u2019s no agreement by Baltimore.  They\u2019re just under the boot.  “The Justice Department and Baltimore police agreed to negotiate court-enforceable reforms after a scathing federal report released Wednesday criticized officers for using excessive force and routinely discriminating against blacks.”<\/p>\n

\"original\"Everybody that\u2019s anybody in Baltimore is African-American, including three of these cops. <\/line><\/p>\n

“The report, the culmination of a yearlong investigation into one of the country\u2019s largest police forces, found that officers make a large number of stops — mostly in poor, black neighborhoods — with dubious justification and unlawfully arrest citizens when officers ‘did not like what those individuals said.\u2019  ‘These violations have deeply eroded the relationship between the police and community it serves,\u2019 Vanita Gupta, the head of the Justice Department\u2019s civil rights division, said during a news conference alongside the city\u2019s mayor and police commissioner. …<\/p>\n

“The report represents a damning indictment of how the city\u2019s police officers carry out the most fundamental of policing practices, including traffic stops and searches. … Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said six officers who committed egregious violations have been fired this year. … [He] and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake promised the report would serve as a blueprint for sweeping changes.”  All this means is that the DOJ is gonna turn another city police department into Romper Room.  They\u2019re basically… The inmates are gonna run the asylum. <\/p>\n

And this is like, you know, 25 or 30 big and medium-sized American city police department that the DOJ has moved in and taken over. (interruption)  Not allowed to say what?  Well, the reason the cops stop in… This is the point of the report, you see. According to the DOJ, the police stop mostly in poor ghetto sections of Baltimore because they\u2019re racist and they want to go out and they want to arrest more blacks than anybody else.<\/p>\n

So that\u2019s where you have to go to find \u2019em.  That\u2019s what the DOJ claims is going on. That\u2019s what the DOJ claims is happening. (interruption) Yeah, the police want to do it — that\u2019s the point — and they\u2019ve gotta be stopped.  The DOJ is gonna move in. The police want to go into these bad neighborhoods, they want to arrest African-Americans, they want to put \u2019em in jail, and they want to do it because they\u2019re racist, just like they said in Ferguson.  They\u2019ve taken over the police, I think, in Seattle.  Maybe it\u2019s Portland.  I forget which. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a number of them this has happened to. <\/p>\n

They come in with their consent decrees. <\/p>\n

They basically force these police departments to sign them and go along with it or they miss out on federal money, and furthermore they get tarred and feathered as racist. (interruption) No, no, no. The reason that there are high levels of crime in these neighborhoods is because the cops are making the people there behave like criminals because of all this unneeded attention.  The cops are the reason that cities are experiencing unrest.  That\u2019s the Obama DOJ\u2019s point of view, and they\u2019re sticking with it.  It\u2019s… (interruption) Well, no. Black-on-black crime is a direct result of the cops making people feel unsafe in their neighborhoods, and everybody\u2019s out for…<\/p>\n

Look, whatever example you throw at me, I\u2019m gonna tell you that the DOJ\u2019s claim that whatever your problem is, it\u2019s the cops who are more than likely responsible for it.  And so they\u2019re gonna go in there, and they\u2019re gonna clean it up. They\u2019re gonna go in there… They fired a bunch of police officers.  I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s any of the six that were exonerated.  I got so mad reading the story, I didn\u2019t read it all.  I didn\u2019t read the final two pages. I didn\u2019t get to the names of the police officers were shot.  <\/p>\n

Italy Wants to Jail Parents who Impose Vegan Diet on Children<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH: And then in Italy — this is interesting for you vegans out there — Italy has decided to — let\u2019s see, what is this — Italy wants to make it a violation of the law to put a child on a vegan diet.  I\u2019ll have that.  We got other things like that out there, too. <\/p>\n

Sweden Is the New Germany, Overrun by Refugees<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH: Sweden, you know what\u2019s happening in Sweden?  Folks, I\u2019m telling you, Europe is gone.  It\u2019s only a matter of time.  It\u2019s just a matter of breeding now.  They\u2019re gonna be outbred, and they\u2019re gone.  This is the most amazing story.  What\u2019s happening in Sweden is that wealthy people who have summer homes and winter homes that they use six weeks a year, the government is coming in and commandeering them in order to house refugees and illegal immigrants, because the illegal immigrants and refugees are refusing the accommodations they\u2019re being offered. <\/p>\n

And so the government of Sweden is telling the wealthy, “Well, you know that house you\u2019ve got out there on the lake you only use six months, we\u2019re taking it.  And we\u2019re gonna put a bunch of refugees in it.”  I don\u2019t yet know what the reaction of the wealthy in Sweden is to it, but it is happening.  Sweden!  Not to be confused with Switzerland, but still.  Sweden.  <\/p>\n

Daily Caller Writer: GOP Should Surrender Election to Hillary<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH:  Oh, by the way, there\u2019s this, too, that we may get into.  Remember Jamie Weinstein?  Does the name Jamie Weinstein ring a bell?  No, no.  He\u2019s a reporter for The Daily Caller.  He\u2019s the boyfriend of the female reporter supposedly shoved to the ground by Corey Lewandowski.  Michelle Fields. <\/p>\n

Anyway, Jamie Weinstein has a piece in the Daily Caller suggesting that the Republican Party approach Hillary Clinton and negotiate a surrender and actually concede the presidential race to her right now.  No.  No.  No.  I am not joking.  The headline: “The Case For A Negotiated Republican Surrender To” Hitler. Hillary.  Sorry.  It was a faux pas.  “It\u2019s time for Republican leaders to consider a negotiated endorsement of Hillary Clinton.”  That\u2019s the lead. <\/p>\n

And his point is Trump\u2019s gonna lose and even if Trump wins, Hillary\u2019s better.  Hillary would be less damaging to conservatism than Trump is gonna be, and maybe — he actually says this — look at me — he actually says that we might be able, if we did this right, if the right Republicans, like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan and some others went up to Hillary and her campaign and actually surrendered, cancel the campaign and concede that she\u2019s the winner and make her president-in-waiting, maybe she would give us Antonin Scalia\u2019s replacement. Let us pick. I\u2019m not kidding you. <\/p>\n

She might be able to be talked into that. She might be amenable in exchange for us conceding the presidential election to her.  Now, this is not Trump involved in it.  This is the Republican Party essentially going to Hillary and saying, “Okay, we\u2019re gonna lay down our arms. We\u2019re not gonna oppose you. We\u2019re not gonna do anything. Trump\u2019s out there on his own doing what he\u2019s doing, we\u2019re gonna concede the presidency to you. We\u2019re gonna do everything we can to see to it that you win the election and all we want is the chance to pick Scalia\u2019s replacement.” Yeah.  Right.  I\u2019ve got it here.  There are couple other things that he thinks we could get from Hillary if we did this.  <\/p>\n

Brooks and Rose Worry About What Robert Costa Said<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

RUSH: I gotta take quick time-out.  I\u2019ve got David Brooks and Charlie Rose trying to figure out Trump\u2019s appeal and how deep his support could be.  They\u2019re scared to death.  I\u2019m telling you, Robert Costa from the Washington Post telling Charlie Rose (paraphrasing), “Charlie, you know the people that don\u2019t vote, half the country doesn\u2019t vote, Charlie, and they may be right up Trump\u2019s ally. They\u2019re never polled and if those people show up, Trump could win and win big, Charlie.<\/p>\n

And ever since Costa told Charlie that, Charlie apparently has been paranoid.  So he\u2019s asking all his guests, “Who are these Trump supporters?  Do we know them?  Where are they?  Do we know the books they read?  Do we know their foreign policy?  Are there a lot of them?”  It\u2019s actually kind of comical. <\/p>\n

But I\u2019ve also got this story.  I\u2019ve covered the basics of it, but there\u2019s still more to it.  Jamie Weinstein suggesting that we negotiate a Republican surrender to Hillary.  That Republicans approach her and say, “Look, we\u2019re gonna stand down. You\u2019re president, you\u2019re gonna win, we acknowledge it. But in exchange for us standing down and not opposing you and trying to stop Trump, will you let us pick Antonin Scalia\u2019s replacement on the court?”<\/p>\n

And Weinstein thinks that Hillary might go for that, and I\u2019ve been assured this is not a parody piece.  Well, I thought it was a parody piece.  I thought it was a weird, convoluted way of making another point, you know, about how pathetic Trump is, \u2019cause I know Weinstein\u2019s not a big supporter.  But apparently not.  We\u2019ll find out in due course.  I\u2019ve mentioned it enough today that if I\u2019ve been snookered, we\u2019ll find out soon enough.  <\/p>\n
