{"id":214176,"date":"2016-08-09T17:39:54","date_gmt":"2016-08-09T21:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/172.24.32.11\/daily\/2016\/08\/09\/benghazi_families_sue_to_find_the_truth\/"},"modified":"2016-08-09T17:39:54","modified_gmt":"2016-08-09T21:39:54","slug":"benghazi_families_sue_to_find_the_truth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/admin.rushlimbaugh.com\/daily\/2016\/08\/09\/benghazi_families_sue_to_find_the_truth\/","title":{"rendered":"Benghazi Families Sue to Find the Truth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/videos\/37\/72622\" target=\"_blank\"><img class=\"alignright\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/listentoit.jpg\" alt=\"Listen to it Button\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<section xmlns:image=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/image\/\" xmlns:xhtml=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/xhtml\/\" xmlns:custom=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/custom\/\">\n<p>RUSH:&nbsp; &#8220;The parents of two of the four Americans who died in the Benghazi attack in 2012 filed a lawsuit Monday against &#8230; Hillary Clinton, alleging her &#8216;reckless handling\u2019 of classified information contributed to their deaths.&nbsp; The case was filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch USA on behalf of Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, and Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods [nickname: &#8220;Rone&#8221;], for allegedly wrongfully causing the death of their sons as well as for defamation and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_126042\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/13-Hours-Hillary-Benghazi-B.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">&#8220;The lawsuit suggests that Clinton\u2019s use of a private email server contributed to the deaths of Smith and Woods, adding that terrorists were able to &#8216;obtain the whereabouts of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and thus the US State Department and covert and other government operations in Benghazi, Libya and subsequently orchestrate, plan, and execute the now infamous September 11, 2012 attack.\u2019 &#8230;&nbsp; In addition to the wrongful death and negligence charges named in the suit, the parents also claim that Clinton defamed them in statements to the media, according to court documents.&#8221;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>And that is, I think, related to Hillary telling them numerous occasions that it was a video that caused the protests that led to the attack in Benghazi, and Hillary assured these parents that they were gonna get to the bottom of this guy that did the video and that he was gonna be held accountable.&nbsp; If you haven\u2019t seen the movie 13 Hours, you can rent it.&nbsp; I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s on Netflix yet, but you can rent it or buy it at various places.&nbsp; It\u2019s the story of what happened in Benghazi, and I\u2019ll tell you the lesson you\u2019ll come away with watching this.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They don\u2019t delve into the politics of it all.&nbsp; By design, they don\u2019t.&nbsp; There are a couple of instances in the movie where some of the combatants on our side are on the ground in Benghazi. When they\u2019re told that somebody is saying the video (some video nobody\u2019s ever seen) caused this, they laugh about it and think it\u2019s craziest thing they\u2019ve ever heard, because this was an organized attack. It was a large, strategic, and tactically executed attack.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It had mortars that were strategically targeted.&nbsp; Some of the perps, what they did in lulls between the fighting&#8230; There were waves of fighting in the attack on the annex in Benghazi, and in one of the lulls, our guys happened to see some dilapidated car drive up which they were waiting for friendlies.&nbsp; The whole attack, they\u2019re waiting for support. They\u2019re waiting for support from the United States or from allies, and none ever came.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And it got to the point that, when they realized none was coming, they made a futile request, &#8220;Could you just send a couple of F-16s to fly over?&nbsp; If you\u2019re not gonna launch anything at these terrorists, could you just have \u2019em fly over and scare the hell out of \u2019em and make them think that you are coming?&#8221;&nbsp; And they wouldn\u2019t even do that.&nbsp; But in the movie, it is &#8212; and the people involved in the movie say that it was done with precise care in replicating events as close to reality as they could.<\/p>\n<p>And they portray an incident in a lull between the waves of attacks. Some dilapidated, broken-down car with three people drives up to the compound.&nbsp; The wall is still up separating the compound from the street, and they\u2019re on needles and pins.&nbsp; I mean, they\u2019re waiting for anything to be another attack, but they hold off thinking something that\u2019s approaching might be friendly, and so they don\u2019t fire on this dilapidated car.&nbsp; It sits outside the wall for a couple of minutes, and leaves.<\/p>\n<p>And they figure out that what it was doing, is the occupants of the car were using their cell phones to geotag the location of the troops inside the annex so that they could be eventually targeted precisely by mortar fire.&nbsp; This was not a protest.&nbsp; It was not anything related to a video.&nbsp; And these families have gotta be outraged at what happened here, because there wasn\u2019t one effort to help. Nobody lifted a finger to help until it was all over.&nbsp; And that\u2019s the thing you\u2019ll come away with when you watch this, is that they were begging.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4CJBuUwd0Os\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The CIA, the security people &#8212; which, beside the ambassador, the three deaths were from the security team, the Rangers and CIA people.&nbsp; And they were begging for help.&nbsp; And none ever came.&nbsp; The only help they had was local Benghazi gangs that they were paying to stand guard outside the annex and to help them return fire.&nbsp; Now, the Benghazi gangs were not part of the opposition, but they caved the moment the opposition showed up and they ended up being pretty much worthless after not too long.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s just infuriating to watch it.&nbsp; You understand the parents\u2019 reaction and why they don\u2019t want to let it go.&nbsp; And it\u2019s gotta be offensive as it can be to them that the woman who stood by and let this happen because of whatever other objectives they had. There is something that we haven\u2019t been told about why we were in Benghazi in the first place, because every other nation had pulled out.&nbsp; It was a hellhole.&nbsp; It was pure anarchy.&nbsp; After Khadafy was taken out by virtue of Hillary\u2019s policy, the place was total anarchy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was no government; there was no stability.&nbsp; It was being&#8230; Control was being waged by one disparate gang of terrorists versus other gangs, and every other nation got the hell out.&nbsp; We didn\u2019t.&nbsp; We kept a CIA station.&nbsp; We kept an ambassadorial&#8230; Well, we kept a complex that would serve as an ambassadorial residence \u2019cause Chris Stevens came in.&nbsp; He came in and he met and he tried to do good works diplomatically, had a couple of meetings with locals and talked about helping them rebuild a library and this sort of thing.<\/p>\n<p>But he ended up being murdered.&nbsp; And one of the stipulations &#8212; one of the bits of conjecture &#8212; as to why he was there is that we were actually using Benghazi to run guns to the Syrian &#8220;rebels.&#8221;&nbsp; And that\u2019s why we couldn\u2019t acknowledge our presence and that\u2019s why we couldn\u2019t defend anybody there, because we couldn\u2019t afford that to be known, or we couldn\u2019t afford that to be learned.&nbsp; Running guns to the Syrian rebels? Who were the Syrian rebels? When you boil it down, the Syrian rebels were ISIS!&nbsp; But they weren\u2019t called that.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They were called the rebels, and that meant they were on our side, because they were rebelling against Assad, who we didn\u2019t like.&nbsp; And I remember Assad was accused of gassing his own people (i.e., the rebels) and it turned out to be the other way around, which we knew from the get-go here.&nbsp; So watching the movie, if you haven\u2019t seen it, will provide pictures, and it will help you understand even more why people remain to this day really bothered by this, and why so many people think it would just be the biggest mistake we could make to have the woman in charge of that debacle become the commander-in-chief.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She is incompetent to begin with.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She is intemperate to begin with.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She may have health problems; who knows? But she\u2019s not suited, and that\u2019s before we even begin to talk about the destructive nature of her policies, which are just going to be echoes and expansions of the destructive policies that Barack Obama has implemented.&nbsp; And this country doesn\u2019t need four more years of this or one more year of this.&nbsp; We do not need a woman as president who has sold access to her presidency in advance already.&nbsp; You know, there\u2019s a report that Trump raised $80 million in July, and there\u2019s an accompanying story that this has unnerved the Clinton campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_126065\" class=\"img_middle\" align=\"middle\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ClintonCrimeFamily.jpg\"\/><line xmlns:tmp=\"http:\/\/ez.no\/namespaces\/ezpublish3\/temporary\/\">Now, stop and think.&nbsp; How many gazillions does Hillary already have?&nbsp; Hillary has raised hundreds of millions. She has collected hundreds of millions more for the Clinton Family Foundation. She has sold access to her would-be presidency to foreign governments, foreign entities, foreign individuals.&nbsp; Before she even takes the oath of office, she already owes foreign governments and foreign entities in policy consideration.&nbsp;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>We have no idea what they are.&nbsp; We have no idea what they\u2019ve bought.&nbsp; All we know is that she has sold it.&nbsp; And it\u2019s not just so Hillary Clinton can implement her ideology and her anti-American or disgust-with-America\u2019s-founding thinking.&nbsp; She\u2019s doing this to personally get rich, as much as for anything else.&nbsp; But the country can\u2019t afford four more years of this.&nbsp; It can\u2019t afford even one more year of this.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And the people that have given us this mess are the career supposed elite, qualified experts. They\u2019re in the business. They have the experience. These are the people we can trust.&nbsp; We can\u2019t trust people like Trump, who doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s doing. He\u2019s never been a politician. He\u2019s never been in Washington. We don\u2019t know who he\u2019s gonna hire. He might hire a bunch of cronies. He might hire a bunch of people that don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doing. We can\u2019t afford it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We do not need any more of the so-called experience and expertise that has given us this mess that we currently live in today.&nbsp; We don\u2019t need anymore.&nbsp; Those people have already demonstrated they don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doing.&nbsp; The people at the EPA, the people at the IRS, the people at the State Department, they don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most of them think the United States is guilty anyway.&nbsp; Most of them think the United States is flawed. Most of them think the United States is the problem in the world.&nbsp; Most of them have grown up and been educated and trained as leftist activists who do believe that the problems and the fault for all of the things wrong in the world can be laid at the feet of the United States of America and our wealth and our imperialism.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They are like Barack Obama, who believe we need to be cut down to size and we need to learn how the rest of the world has lived, and we need to experience the pain and suffering we\u2019ve inflicted on the rest of the world.&nbsp; And do not doubt me about this.&nbsp; This is exactly who they are and we don\u2019t need any more of it.&nbsp; It\u2019s time to stop this direction we\u2019re headed and try to reverse it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wbkS26PX4rc\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And a whole lot of American people think the same thing.&nbsp; A whole lot of Americans are fed up with the so-called insider elite experience and qualifications and know-how because they don\u2019t see the value in it.&nbsp; We\u2019ll find out in November just who outnumbers who, but in the process we\u2019re gonna try to bring as many people along as we can, because where we are is not an accident.&nbsp; Where this country is today is not an accident.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the result of economic cycles.&nbsp; It\u2019s not the result of ups and downs.&nbsp; It\u2019s not the result of happenstance.&nbsp; We are where we are because people have written and implemented and signed into law policies that guaranteed the things that have happened have happened.&nbsp; And many of those things have been detrimental to this country, to our economy, to our health care system, to our national defense, to our national security.&nbsp; They have happened by design.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This administration has benefited from what I call the Limbaugh Theory.&nbsp; They are not held accountable for any of the things that have gone wrong.&nbsp; Obama\u2019s been in office eight years and he still doesn\u2019t get blamed for this lackluster economy.&nbsp; Note, George W. Bush still gets blamed for that.&nbsp; George W. Bush and the economic collapse of 2008 and poor Obama, he\u2019s just working so hard to fix it, my God, he\u2019s working hard, he never knew how bad it was, they never told him how bad it was.&nbsp; When he was inaugurated, man, did he find out that he\u2019d been lied to.&nbsp; He didn\u2019t know how bad it was.&nbsp; He\u2019d been working so hard. He\u2019d been trying to rebuild roads and bridges. He\u2019d been trying to rebuild schools. He\u2019s been trying to rebuild the middle class. He\u2019d been trying to create jobs, been trying to raise the minimum wage. He\u2019s been trying to equate the sexes. Man, it\u2019s just all these powerful forces arrayed against him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, it\u2019s been a steady decline all eight years.&nbsp; And for a whole host of reasons, Obama\u2019s never blamed, never held accountable, never even associated with these failures.&nbsp; All these failures are said to derive from previous years of Republican presidencies even going all the way back to Reagan.&nbsp; And that\u2019s not in any way, shape, manner, or form the explanations for why America finds itself where it is; where more Americans think our best days are behind us than ahead; where more Americans believe that they\u2019ll never do as well as their parents.<\/p>\n<p>There are reasons for this way beyond happenstance, way beyond cycles, way beyond chance.&nbsp; There are specific reasons because people want this country to be where it is today, and they have succeeded in taking us there.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RUSH:&nbsp;
