RUSH: Last night, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump at a campaign event.<\/p>\n

TRUMP:  If he would have just not done anything, just go home, go to sleep, relax, he would have been a hero.  But he made a deal with the devil.  She\u2019s the devil.  He made a deal with the devil.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  He\u2019s talking about Bernie Sanders.  He\u2019s really ripping Bernie for giving up and caving in and endorsing Hillary when it was all over.  He thinks Crazy Bernie should have kept up the fight at the convention.  He should have kept trying to win those superdelegates, but Crazy Bernie was a paper tiger, or a paper lion.  Crazy Bernie never, ever, was gonna win the Democrat nomination.  That was arranged in 2008.  The game was, in fact, rigged.  Hillary was promised 2012 or 2016, when they stole it from her in 2008 because Obama wanted it.  That led to Trump later in Columbus, Ohio, that Bernie bite kind of sets this one up.<\/p>\n

TRUMP:  I\u2019m afraid the election\u2019s gonna be rigged, I have to be honest.  Because I think my side was rigged. If I didn\u2019t win by massive landslides, I mean think of what we won in New York, and Indiana, California, 78%.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH:  So here is the Republican nominee signaling the likelihood of defeat on the basis that the whole thing\u2019s been rigged against him.  And what he means is, if I didn\u2019t win by massive landslides, he\u2019s talking about people who said Trump\u2019s only hope here was to win by a massive landslide because, if it\u2019s close, he didn\u2019t have a prayer.  And, of course, there\u2019s gonna be some people who believe this because there have been elections where there has been fraud.  I mean, everybody knows this. <\/p>\n

But Trump is being hit from all sides on this one by even some of his supporters who are upset that he sounds like he\u2019s making an excuse already here in August for losing, and then others who claim to be Trump supporters are also saying, “You don\u2019t do this.  In the freest nation on earth, you don\u2019t tell voters that the entire institution of the presidential election is corrupt and unsalvageable.” <\/p>\n
