RUSH: Hillary Clinton this afternoon, Springfield, Illinois.\u00a0 She\u2019s going in there, and she\u2019s trying to act like Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat.\u00a0 She\u2019s trying to get away with the idea that she\u2019s a great unifier, like Lincoln was. She\u2019s trying to fool everybody.\u00a0 You know, Lincoln was a Republican.\u00a0 There she is trying to present herself as the incarnation of Lincoln.\u00a0 So here\u2019s a portion of her remarks at the beginning.<\/p>\n

HILLARY:\u00a0 There is too much violence and hate in our country. Too little trust and common ground.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Where\u2019s the screeching?<\/p>\n

HILLARY:\u00a0 It can feel impossible to have the conversations we need to have to fix what\u2019s broken.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 See, that\u2019s the key.<\/p>\n

HILLARY:\u00a0 And despite being the richest country on earth, we have too much economic inequality, and that also undermines the foundation of our democracy.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0\u00a0 It does not.\u00a0 This is a myth.\u00a0 Heather Mac Donald, I asked her specifically about this when I interviewed her last week.\u00a0 That is a myth.\u00a0 They use the same excuse to explain terrorism.\u00a0 “Well, poor countries, these young men got nothing to do.\u00a0 They can\u2019t make a living.”\u00a0 It\u2019s BS, folks.\u00a0 We have had poverty in this country since the beginning. We\u2019ve had poverty since the first days of the Garden of Eden.\u00a0 It has never been the reason why, the primary reason why there is crime.\u00a0 A falling moral code, a destruction of values.<\/p>\n

America has always provided a way up from poverty anyway.\u00a0 That\u2019s what\u2019s missing today.\u00a0 The Democrat Party doesn\u2019t believe in that.\u00a0 The Democrat Party believes in redistribution.\u00a0 They believe in taking from achievers, punishing achievers, and then redistributing the money to the poor, which keeps them poor \u2019cause there isn\u2019t enough to give away to make everybody wealthy.\u00a0 We don\u2019t have any money anyway.\u00a0 National debt, $20 trillion.\u00a0 This is all a joke.<\/p>\n

Economic inequality does not lead to crime.\u00a0 Economic inequality is not why we have Black Lives Matter.\u00a0 Economic inequality is not why we had Occupy Wall Street.\u00a0 Economic inequality is not the reason for any of these horrible acts of violence, maybe an isolated case, but it\u2019s not the overall sociological reason.<\/p>\n

“It can feel impossible to have the conversations we need to have to have to fix what\u2019s broken.”\u00a0 They don\u2019t want to fix it.\u00a0 That\u2019s the point of the grievance industry.\u00a0 They don\u2019t want to solve this.\u00a0 There\u2019s no money in that.\u00a0 There\u2019s no future in it.\u00a0 The power is the grievance.\u00a0 The power is the unhappiness.\u00a0 The power is being discriminated against.\u00a0 The power is being the victim.\u00a0 You can\u2019t fix that.\u00a0 You have no cause if you do that.\u00a0 They don\u2019t want to fix it.\u00a0 That\u2019s the problem.\u00a0 That\u2019s the dirty little secret.\u00a0 And the Democrats don\u2019t want it fixed, either.\u00a0 The more chaos, the more poverty, the more dependent people to vote for them.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the next bite that we can rip to shreds.<\/p>\n

HILLARY:\u00a0 Yes, we do need to listen to those who say black lives matter.\u00a0 Too many black Americans, especially young men, feel like their lives are disposable and they worry every single day about what might happen.\u00a0 They have every reason to feel that way, and it\u2019s absolutely unacceptable.\u00a0 Everyone in America, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.\u00a0 Surely that is something we can all unite behind.<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH:\u00a0 So many people are trying to do that, and it doesn\u2019t matter.\u00a0 Because that\u2019s not what this is about, either.\u00a0 Have you noticed…? If you\u2019re doubting me, have you noticed that no Democrat issue ever gets resolved?\u00a0 Talk to African-Americans.\u00a0 They\u2019ve been voting Democrat for 50 years.\u00a0 They\u2019re still as angry as they were 50 years ago, aren\u2019t they?\u00a0 There\u2019s still as much discrimination. \u00a0Listen to them, and there\u2019s still as much racism.\u00a0 I mean, the guy North Carolina NAALCP says there are still lynchings, for crying out loud!<\/p>\n

They haven\u2019t solved a thing.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s still poverty.\u00a0 There\u2019s still no jobs.<\/p>\n

Democrats been promising for 50 years to fix this stuff, and it never gets fixed, does it?\u00a0 The Feminazis? They\u2019re never happy, either, \u2019cause somebody\u2019s always perceived of trying to take abortion away from the \u2019em. So it\u2019s never fixed, is it?\u00a0 Take whatever leftist issue you want.\u00a0 We never… We haven\u2019t even gotten close to resolving them, and yet the Democrats are promising they\u2019re the only ones that can do it. They\u2019re the only ones that will do it. They\u2019re the only ones looking out for people.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t fix a damn thing!<\/p>\n

Every Democrat voter who\u2019s got a grievance is as ticked off and enraged today if not more so than the day they became Democrats and realized why.\u00a0 They don\u2019t fix anything.\u00a0 They don\u2019t make anybody happier.\u00a0 They don\u2019t add to anybody\u2019s contentment.\u00a0 They never create the jobs they promise.\u00a0 They don\u2019t fix the roads they promise. They don\u2019t rebuild the schools they promise.\u00a0 They don\u2019t do anything!\u00a0 And when they didn\u2019t even do anything, guess who gets blamed for not doing anything?\u00a0 These evil rascally Republicans and talk radio are always blamed for why things never get fixed.<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t want them fixed.<\/p>\n
