Well, lo and behold comes a Reuters story, “U.S. Democrats said over the weekend that economic security and domestic security go hand in hand, and it was important that lawmakers set priorities with both goals in mind.” Ladies and gentlemen, this program is now dictating policy in the Democratic Party. They\u2019re searching for the next Rush Limbaugh. They\u2019re searching for a couple of Rush Limbaughs, and they\u2019re trying to emulate me. Now they\u2019re taking my policy ideas as articulated on this program, and on Tim Russert\u2019s program over the weekend, and co-opting them as their own. <\/line>The Democrats have now decided that it\u2019s important that economic security and domestic security go hand in hand, and it was important that lawmakers set priorities with both goals in mind. This was stated in the weekly Democrat radio address, given by Michigan Governor-elect Jennifer Granholm. This Granholm babe is one of the Democrats\u2019 rising stars. They all say, “She\u2019s an attractive candidate.” What does that mean? You know what it means. They mean she\u2019s good-looking. She\u2019s attractive. She can\u2019t run for president, because she\u2019s from Canada, unless we change the Constitution.<\/line>Anyway, we have a name for this, ladies and gentlemen. It\u2019s called the Limbaugh Echo Syndrome. This is something that I have been talking about on the radio for weeks, ever since the sniper thing was going on in the D.C. metro area. Now, it?s been copied by the new Democrat “It” girl, Jennifer Granholm.<\/line>Russert asked me to handicap the risks the Bush administration faces over the next two years. I gave two including Iraq, but I thought my answers needed clarification. People now expect an agenda to be moved forward. Maybe not rapidly, drastically or in one big Hail Mary approach, but those who worked for this win want to see action. This total control is an opportunity that political parties don\u2019t get very often. Make the most of it.<\/line><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
