RUSH: Yesterday, Washington, Capitol Hill. Senator McCain spoke with reporters.<\/p>\n

MCCAIN:  Barack Obama is directly responsible for it, \u2019cause when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, Al-Qaeda went to Syria, became ISIS, and ISIS is what it is today, thanks to Barack Obama\u2019s failures, utter failures, by pulling everybody out of Iraq, thinking that conflicts end just because we leave.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Multiple reactions to this. When people first heard about it, they said, “Yeah!  Right on, McCain.  It\u2019s about time some Republican stood up and told me the truth,” because so few Republicans do.  And the next reaction was, “Wait a minute.  That\u2019s going too far.  You\u2019re blaming Obama for the attack in Orlando?”  And McCain says, “No, no.  No.  That\u2019s not what I said.  That\u2019s not what I said.  Listen carefully.” And he\u2019s right. He blamed Obama for the fact that there is ISIS — and about that, he\u2019s entirely correct. <\/line><\/p>\n

We reviewed the reasons. We don\u2019t need to repeat.  Obama could not wait to get out of Iraq. He was offered favorable conditions in a negotiation for the US military to stay in Iraq.  Obama rejected it for political reasons.  We got out of there; that left it wide open.  Hello, ISIS.  Which is just essentially a branch of Al-Qaeda, when you get right down on it.  I mean, they\u2019re all pretty much made up of the same ideology and the same desires and so forth.  But we left the place basically stateless, just like Afghanistan was stateless. <\/p>\n

Hello, Taliban. <\/p>\n

Hello, Osama Bin Laden. <\/p>\n

And McCain\u2019s exactly right about.  They\u2019ve beat up McCain.  He\u2019s now starting to withdraw all this, by the way, you should know.  Should be aware.  McCain\u2019s starting to pull back on this.  Let\u2019s (if you can stomach it) go to yesterday afternoon in Orlando, after meeting with survivors of the terrorist attack in Orlando — and I don\u2019t think Obama blamed this on a video like he did Benghazi.  We have as many sound bites here as… Well, not as many as you can take. There aren\u2019t that many.<\/p>\n

But I just want you to here a couple of the things Obama said at the memorial, after meeting with survivors of the terrorist attack.<\/p>\n

OBAMA:  Given the fact that the last two terror attacks on our soil, Orlando and San Bernardino, were homegrown — carried out, it appears, not by external plotters, not by vast networks or sophisticated cells, but by deranged individuals warped by the hateful propaganda that they had seen over the internet — then we\u2019re gonna have to do more to prevent these kinds of events from occurring.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH:  Uh-oh.  Uh-oh.  Did you hear that?  It\u2019s the internet\u2019s fault!  Yeah.  All this hatred in the internet.  Yeah.  It was all that propaganda on the internet !We\u2019re gonna have to do more to prevent these.  Can you say the words “net neutrality”?  If you can, then you might be aware of how Obama intends to take control of the internet, using this as justification.  Which, sadly, many low-information Americans and propagandized Americans themselves will applaud.  But it will not be…<\/p>\n

Obama\u2019s takeover of the internet will not be to prevent these kinds of things from happening.  He\u2019s got an entirely different agenda.  All the Democrats do.  It\u2019s total control.  It\u2019s limiting access to information.  It\u2019s about shutting down opposition.  That\u2019s why they want control of the internet.  Pure and simple. So now we\u2019ll blame it on Republicans.  We\u2019ll blame it on Republicans and the anti-gay and inspiring this guy to be anti-gay and homophobic and all that — and then we\u2019ll not blame Islam at all. <\/p>\n

Never mind the fact that there are surveys — just saw them — over 50% of American Muslims believe in Sharia law over the Constitution.  It may be close to 60%, if I saw it right. Sixty percent of American Muslims prefer Sharia to the US Constitution.  And “moderate Muslims,” not jihadists. Not the militant Islamic extremists or terrorists, but moderate mainstream Muslims are on record as agreeing with some kind of punishment for homosexuality. <\/p>\n

Somehow, this all is the fault of Republicans and whatever is going on in Congress, Obama, the Democrats, progressives, can\u2019t wait to point fingers of blame.  And the reaction is, “My God, we\u2019re gonna sue Trump! You know what?  We\u2019re gonna sue Trump for this Muslim ban of his, just like we\u2019ve sued Obama.  We\u2019ve sued Obama, three or four times.  Excess of power! We\u2019re gonna sue. We\u2019re gonna sue.” Here\u2019s the next Obama bite, if you can stomach it…<\/p>\n
