RUSH: For the second day in a row I have this story<\/a>.  Hillary Clinton:  “People tell me they won\u2019t vote for me because I am a woman.”  Which is a crock.  She wants us to believe that she\u2019s wandering around, walking around, whatever she\u2019s doing — she doesn\u2019t do many public appearances.  And whenever she does them, they\u2019re always small, and they\u2019re tightly controlled and managed.  And I would go so far as to say that, even in the audience of these things, there are professionals, maybe even members of the Clinton campaign team, or certainly people they have hired to ask her questions directly related to whatever agenda item she wants to promote that day. <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think they let her go out there and randomly answer questions from people.  I don\u2019t think they trust her.  I don\u2019t think they think she can do it.  Everything\u2019s staged managed, everything\u2019s tightly managed.  You\u2019ll never see her do an event in an arena like Trump does.  You will never see her do an arena or even a modified small arena like 1,200, 2,500 people.  You\u2019ll never see here at a place with 10,000 people other than something like their convention, which is totally scripted and tightly controlled. <\/p>\n

And, even as tightly controlled as things are, Mrs. Clinton wants us to believe that people come up to her on the rope line and say, “You know, I really admire you, I really like you, I just don\u2019t know if I can vote for a woman to be president.”  Who would say that?  You know, what she\u2019s saying is that people admittedly come up to her and admit that they\u2019re sexists.  “Gee, I really like you, Mrs. Clinton.  I just don\u2019t know if I can vote for a woman.” <\/line><\/p>\n

Do you know what that is?  That is also an insult to every potential voter in this country.  She\u2019s playing the victim card.  She is acting like, “Oh, woe is me, I\u2019m running at such a disadvantage because this country is still so bigoted and sexist that people still can\u2019t bring themselves to vote for a woman even with people who think I am more qualified than anybody who has ever run.”  And she wants you to feel sorry for her. <\/p>\n

Have you ever known anybody — let me ask you this — anybody in your family, somebody in your circle of friends who has a personality tick, a quirk, they try to make people feel sorry for \u2019em?  Doesn\u2019t it irritate you?  And isn\u2019t the last thing you end up doing is actually feeling sorry for \u2019em?  But they want it.  Oh, they desperately want you to feel sorry for \u2019em.  They may go so far as to beg for it by complaining about what victims they\u2019ve been, how unfair things have been to them, how unfair life is, the bad breaks they\u2019ve gotten.  And probably after a while you can\u2019t take it anymore and shout out, “Grow up.  It\u2019s called life.” <\/p>\n

But here\u2019s Mrs. Clinton, an adult how many times over, and she\u2019s walking out like a crybaby.  But I don\u2019t believe this.  I don\u2019t believe that there are enough people that come up to her and say, “Gosh, I love you.  I think you\u2019re brilliant.  I think you\u2019re so smart.  I just don\u2019t know if I can vote for a woman.”  Are you kidding?  It just doesn\u2019t happen.  Just like she didn\u2019t have to corkscrew land going over to Afghanistan to avoid “snipper” fire, as she said, sniper fire.<\/p>\n

Just like she wasn\u2019t named after Sir Edmund Hillary, because he hadn\u2019t even climbed Mt. Everest at the time she was born.  Nobody had ever heard of him.  There would be no reason for her to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary.  She just totally made it up. (imitating Clinton) “Yeah, you know, people tell me all the time that they really, really, really like me and they really think I\u2019m smart, but they just can\u2019t vote for me \u2019cause they can\u2019t vote for a woman.” <\/p>\n

This is in New York Magazine.  She said this in an interview in New York Magazine.  “‘I mean, they come to my events and then they say that to me.\u2019  She added she thinks Americans are afraid that a woman\u2019s ambition would crowd out relationships, marriage, children, family, and home making.” Have we not dispelled that canard? <\/line><\/p>\n

So she\u2019s telling us, what she\u2019s saying is that people are coming up to her and saying, “Mrs. Clinton, I really, really like you, I really admire you.  I just don\u2019t know if I can vote for a woman because it would be unfair to you, Mrs. Clinton, because you wouldn\u2019t have time for your marriage. You wouldn\u2019t have time for your children. You wouldn\u2019t have time for your family. You wouldn\u2019t have time for your homemaking, Mrs. Clinton, because you\u2019d be so busy being president. I just don\u2019t know if I could vote for you.  That\u2019d be such punishment, Mrs. Clinton. I don\u2019t know if I can condemn you to that kind of miserable life, Mrs. Clinton, by electing you president.  Look at all that you would miss.” <\/p>\n

This is a woman stuck in a time warp.  What would you think, Snerdley, Wellesley College circa 1971?  Holy smokes.  The more she opens her mouth, the worse it gets for her.  And then there\u2019s this.  UK Daily Mail, an incredibly increasingly reliable publication.  I think the Daily Mail is great.  The Daily Mail has stories going on in this country that the media here never touch.  Plus, if you love gossip, there\u2019s nobody better.  The Daily Mail gossip, Wendy, you should check it out, \u2019cause there\u2019s nothing better. It\u2019s never ending, photos and everything, on the gossip side. <\/p>\n

But there\u2019s this.  “FBI agents investigating the death of [Vince Foster] <\/a>found that Hillary Clinton ‘triggered\u2019 his suicide when she attacked and humiliated her mentor from their former Rose Law Firm in front of other White House aides a week before he took his own life.”<\/p>\n

Hillary triggered the suicide of Vince Foster when she attacked and humiliated him in front of White House staff one week before his death.  This is according to FBI agents.  “Vince Foster shot himself with a .38 caliber revolver at Fort Marcy Park along the Potomac River on July 20, 1993.” I happened to be in Israel at that time. <\/line><\/p>\n

“A week before his death, First Lady Hillary Clinton held a meeting with Foster and other aides to discuss her proposed health care legislation.  Hillary violently disagreed with a legal objection Foster raised and ridiculed him in front of his peers, say former FBI agents. ‘Hillary put him down really, really bad in a pretty good-size meeting,\u2019 former agent Coy Copeland reveals. ‘She told him he would always be a little hick town lawyer who was obviously not ready for the big time.\u2019 says Copeland. ‘You have failed us,\u2019 Hillary told Foster according to former FBI Jim Clemente says. Foster\u2019s behavior changed dramatically — he became withdrawn and preoccupied, and his sense of humor vanished.<\/p>\n

“Ronald Kessler, a former Washington Post and Wall Street Journal investigative reporter, is the New York Times bestselling author of The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal the Hidden Lives of the Presidents and The Secrets of the FBI.”  It\u2019s actually a Ronald Kessler book, slash, story, the UK Daily Mail has picked up on.  You won\u2019t see this at ABC, CBS, NBC, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, LA Times, take your pick. <\/p>\n

Named FBI agents said Hillary Clinton drove Vince Foster to suicide.  Hmm.  Hmm.  Really put the poor guy down.  Told him he was a small town hayseed, hick who didn\u2019t have what it takes to make it in the big time, should just think about going back to Arkansas.  It does sound very mean.  It sounds so royally put-downish. It sounds so superior. It sounds so condescending.  Is that the Hillary that we\u2019ve heard of?  I don\u2019t hear any compassion, either.  I certainly don\u2019t hear any understanding.  I don\u2019t hear the love.  And I don\u2019t hear the good vibes. <\/p>\n

But the question is, does this comport with what we have heard about Hillary Clinton in other instances?  Like we\u2019ve heard that she threw ashtrays at her husband.  We\u2019ve heard that she was disrespectful of both the uniformed military personnel at the White House and the Secret Service.  We have heard she had a condescending attitude.  <\/p>\n

(interruption) What\u2019s wrong with being what? (interruption) I did. (interruption)  You…? (interruption)  Oh. (interruption)  “What\u2019s wrong with throwing ashtrays?”  Well, nothing. If it\u2019s Clinton, I can understand it.  I\u2019m just saying she did it. That\u2019s what we\u2019ve been told. (interruption)  Yeah.  (interruption)  The staff was not allowed to talk to her.  It\u2019s not the staff wouldn\u2019t talk to her.  The staff was not permitted to talk to her when she walking down the hall anywhere in the White House.  They were not permitted to address her.  We\u2019ve heard that, too. <\/p>\n

Anyway, we\u2019ll see how far this gets.  They\u2019ll say, “Kessler? You know, he\u2019s just a typical Clinton kook.  He\u2019s just one of these conspiracy guys, you know, for the vast right-wing conspiracy. (Arkansas Broadbeam cackle) Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha-ha!  Vast right-wing conspiracy guy!”  Obama will weigh in on it. (impression) “The — the — the — the — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that — that turd! But — but — but — but it\u2019s okie-doke, right?  That\u2019s wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-what that is!”  We\u2019ll see if it happens to go anywhere.  Trump, by the way, back to him, audio sound bite number nine, laying into Hillary saying, “You know what?  She didn\u2019t even have any talent.  The only thing she does is open her mouth and lie.”<\/line><\/p>\n

TRUMP:  Hillary is not a talented person.  In fact, she\u2019s a person with absolutely no natural talent.  All you have to do is watch her speak. And do you ever notice even for a minor speech she has teleprompters? Do I have teleprompters here?<\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: Noooooo!<\/p>\n

TRUMP: No.  But she\u2019s got like these minor speeches, and I saw this a couple of times, you know, four words: “We\u2019re going to win in the north, south, east, and west!” Ba-ba-pa!<\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (laughing)<\/p>\n

TRUMP: Ba-ba-pa!  Bah… (sigh)  Oh, boy. So insincere.  Hillary Clinton — and this is a hundred percent — Hillary Clinton, she lies.  You remember that? I started that. She liiiies! <\/p>\n

AUDIENCE: (booing)<\/p>\n

TRUMP:  She lies!<\/p>\n

RUSH:  So Hillary decided, you know, she had to get back at this.  This is in Newark at a campaign event, and she goes after Trump as a fraud.<\/p>\n

HILLARY: We\u2019re learning about another scam, the so-called Trump University. (screaming) Trump and his employees took advantage of vulnerable Americans.  This is just more evidence that Donald Trump himself is a fraud. (shouting louder) He is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump U.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  It sounds exactly she\u2019s reading that. (halting impression) “He is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump U.”  “Yaaaay, yaaaay!”  And then she defended her employees in the media, meaning the State-Controlled Media, against Trump\u2019s attacks.<\/line><\/p>\n

HILLARY:  He doesn\u2019t want to unify us.  He wants to divide us.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Who else does that?<\/p>\n

HILLARY:  That\u2019s why he started his campaign attacking people, and he hasn\u2019t stopped.  Yesterday, it was the press that he was attacking.  Now, if you\u2019re in public life, you\u2019re not always gonna like what the press says about you.  I have some experience with that.<\/p>\n

FOLLOWERS: (rippling laughter)<\/p>\n

HILLARY: (just short of screeching) But part of the genius of our democracy, our system, is we have a free press!<\/p>\n

RUSH:  You know, she\u2019s just short of screeching again.  She\u2019s reading it.  She\u2019s just short of screeching.  You can just hear it.  It\u2019s about ready to happen there.  Just minuscule millimeters away from it.  Just on the verge.  Grab move forward audio sound bite number 14. Howard Kurtz was on Fox News this morning and was asked, “Donald Trump calls her ‘Crooked Hillary\u2019 over and over again.  Can she out-Donald Trump? You know, can she out-insult Trump?” <\/p>\n

KURTZ:  It will be hard for her to win an insult war with Trump.  The media bears some responsibility here.  Trump makes more news.  There\u2019s an incident last week where Hillary Clinton gave a speech to a union group in Las Vegas.  None of the three cable news networks carried it live. But they all had pictures up of an empty podium in Bismarck, North Dakota, and the banner said, “Awaiting Donald Trump speech.”  That was considered more newsworthy than the actual speech by the presumed Democratic nominee.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

KURTZ: We have to be careful that we don\u2019t appear to be tilting by doling out the media oxygen too much to one candidate in this race.<\/p>\n

RUSH:  Oh, come on!  You know, Howard, you should have stopped before the last sentence.  “We in the media… We have to be careful that we don\u2019t appear to be tilting by doling out the media oxygen too much to one candidate.” (chuckling)  I love these guys that are the ombudsmen over the media, analyzing what the media\u2019s doing wrong.  It never changes.  But he\u2019s exactly right.  An empty podium where Trump is going to soon be speaking is a greater audience grabber than an actual Hillary Clinton appearance.  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
