“If something had happened to that 4-year-old boy in the gorilla pen, you know what the catcalls would be? ‘Why didn\u2019t you shoot the gorilla? Why did you wait?\u2019 So the zoo people, they\u2019re not gonna win no matter what. But my guess is they feel worse than anybody about this, the people that had to do it.”<\/p>\n

“Nothing\u2019s real. Nothing is what it seems to be. Everything\u2019s managed, everything\u2019s PR, everything\u2019s buzz. Everything. Trump is not. Trump is, for better or worse, real. There\u2019s nothing real about Mrs. Clinton. There is nothing real about her campaign. There\u2019s nothing real about these things that are stage managed and produced for public consumption.”<\/p>\n

“If Trump were any other Republican, the Drive-Bys would have practically destroyed him by now and they\u2019d be worried about rehabbing Hillary\u2019s image and building her up. But she\u2019s so unexciting, she\u2019s so dull, she\u2019s so scandal ridden, they\u2019ve got nothing to work with.  All they can do is try to destroy Trump, but they don\u2019t know how. Because they didn\u2019t make Trump, they can\u2019t destroy Trump.”<\/p>\n

“Trump\u2019s constant access to media and Trump\u2019s unpredictability is frustrating Hillary and the Drive-Bys\u2019 capacity to shape and control the narrative. They are unable to write the daily soap opera script as they have become accustomed to being able to do.” <\/p>\n

“Hillary is frustrating, \u2019cause there\u2019s nothing to cover. All there is with Hillary is emails and shady financial dealings and Mao pantsuits and basic incompetence and boredom and a total lack of excitement.”  <\/p>\n

“All three hours entirely worth it each and every day here at the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.”<\/p>\n

Hillary doesn\u2019t know how to go out and write her own narrative of the day. She doesn\u2019t know whether to focus on herself, or to criticize Trump, or to go after Crazy Bernie. She doesn\u2019t know what to do. And the press doesn\u2019t, either.”<\/p>\n

“This has become a pop culture campaign. Like it or not, that\u2019s what it is. And that\u2019s why so many in the political world are having trouble understanding it, dealing with it, being involved with it, defining it, what have you.” <\/p>\n

“Everybody dealing with Trump — including Bill Kristol and everybody else trying to take him out — is making the big mistake of trying to plug Trump into the age-old political handbook. Trump\u2019s not part of that. You don\u2019t deal with Trump in the standard, political handbook way on policy and issues and things like that.” <\/p>\n

“There have been countless efforts to destroy this program, take me out. But they haven\u2019t succeeded. And, as such, I don\u2019t have any real competition. And so the media can\u2019t hype competition. They\u2019ve tried. They\u2019ve hyped everybody that\u2019s been thrown up to wipe me out, and it\u2019s all fizzled out.” <\/p>\n

“Hillary doesn\u2019t have any natural talents. Hillary doesn\u2019t have any natural connection to people. Hillary doesn\u2019t have any charisma, magnetism. All of that has to be manufactured by the media.” <\/p>\n

“With Trump out there all the time, spontaneous and entertaining, the press has to do something to keep Hillary in the game. So they hyper-script her appearances, they hyper-script the coverage, all with limited availability because Hillary has to maintain some restraint. Otherwise, it\u2019s a potential total implosion.”   <\/p>\n

“You heard of dead man walking; Hillary is deadly dull walking. She is a walking, talking embodiment of corruption and phoniness. And the more exposure she gets, the more her poll numbers plunge. The more exposure she gets, the more it\u2019s clear she can\u2019t put Crazy Bernie away.” <\/p>\n

“The Democrats in the race are such subpar candidates that ratings go down when coverage of them goes up. In fact, part of Trump\u2019s schtick now is to make fun of Hillary\u2019s penchant for screeching on the stump.”  <\/p>\n

“In terms of media coverage, Trump doesn\u2019t have any competition. Hillary is no competition for Trump. If Trump were a radio show and Hillary were a radio show, he would be me, and she would be Air America.” <\/p>\n

“Hillary Clinton is one of the most boring, dryball, dull, uninteresting people in the world getting $21 million in two years for making speeches?  The world\u2019s greatest entertainers don\u2019t get that! They don\u2019t get anywhere close to that!” <\/p>\n

“Bottom line: No one really cares what Hillary Clinton is saying because what she says is never interesting. It\u2019s only how badly she says it, and she\u2019s plainly self-conscious about it, meaning Trump is living rent-free in her head.”   <\/p>\n

“Hillary is not gonna be honest about what she stands for. She can\u2019t be! If she were to be honest about it, she\u2019d have to just literally trounce Obama each and every day, on the economy and a number of other things that she can\u2019t do being of the same party.” <\/p>\n

“If Hillary Clinton had given Black Lives Matter $6 million? I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any risk of that. I think Hillary Clinton doesn\u2019t give money to anybody. In that world, Hillary Clinton is a total taker. She\u2019s not a donor. So that would never happen. Bank on it.” <\/p>\n

“I just don\u2019t think there was any way that boy was gonna get out of there alive short of what happened. And I think the people that are being forgotten in all this are the zoo people that had to do it. I think in all the agony that\u2019s out there today, the people that run that zoo that had to do this are probably feeling the worst of anybody, \u2019cause that gorilla was part of their lives.” <\/p>\n

“We humanize all animals, particularly those that we can go watch, maybe even pet, get close to.  And we attend to associate — some of us do, some people transfer their own traits to animals and think that there\u2019s no difference other than maybe intelligence or what have you.” <\/p>\n

“I\u2019m the biggest animal lover you\u2019ll ever meet.” <\/p>\n

“I know a lot of people want to believe that whoever Harambe\u2019s friends were on the zoo staff could have walked in there, you know, with a plate of food or what have you, or just with good vibes, ‘Hey, Harambe, how are you? You know that thing you have, that\u2019s not supposed to be here. Hand him over,\u2019 whatever they were gonna do to get the gorilla to hand over his toy. It was not going to happen.”  <\/p>\n

“Trump\u2019s not somebody who thinks that he has to downplay himself in order to be polite. He likes who he is, he\u2019s proud of being who he is, and he likes being himself. And that makes somebody a… I think in this day and age, that alone could do it, in terms of defining a leader.”<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s always going to be a political component in everything because politics is part of everything. Whether people like it or not, want to admit it or not, that\u2019s the truth.” <\/p>\n
