CALLER:\u00a0 I\u2019ve listened to you since 1989 when we got married.\u00a0 Let me preface it, Rush, that I am a wife of a military man, and it\u2019s great that all the Republicans and all the conservative talking heads are in Trump\u2019s back pocket, and I won\u2019t say totally you, but truly I haven\u2019t heard a whole lot on your side, but I —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Wait.\u00a0 They\u2019re not. Wait a minute.\u00a0 There\u2019s a whole bunch that are not in Trump\u2019s back pocket.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Well, more so are in his pocket than not, and lately I include you, and I will say what is Donald Trump gonna do with all the married white women, and I friended about, let\u2019s see, about 30 or 35 within the last day or so, what is he gonna do with all the white married women and white women that are not gonna vote for Trump?\u00a0 In fact, you know, I\u2019m thinking seriously of just doing a write-in and choosing my local candidates.\u00a0 And this is the very first time I will have done that.\u00a0 And here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n

You know, every single day all is hear is about Vince Foster and high cheeks, high bones, and late-night talk show host who throws out these innuendos, calls people names.\u00a0 I\u2019m tired of that.\u00a0 I want to hear his 100-day plan on what he\u2019s gonna do on geopolitics. What is he gonna do on Syria? Why isn\u2019t he discussing the 80-plus people who got killed in Syria within the last day or two?\u00a0 Why isn\u2019t he discussing our downsizing of the Navy?\u00a0 Why isn\u2019t he discussing, in the first hundred days he\u2019s gonna repeal Obamacare —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 No, no, no, no, wait just a second.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Where\u2019s his plan?\u00a0 Where\u2019s his plan?\u00a0 Why isn\u2019t he talking about the Constitution?\u00a0 Why is he coached by conservative talking heads about the Constitution then redirects the conversation on Juanita Broaddrick?\u00a0 I don\u2019t give a darn about Juanita Broaddrick.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Wait a minute, now.\u00a0 Take a breath.\u00a0 First place, he is talking rebuilding the military.\u00a0 He constantly talks about how it\u2019s been decimated by the Regime.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Where are the details, Rush?\u00a0 Where are the details on Obamacare?\u00a0 Where are the details on returning programs to states?\u00a0 What programs is he gonna start, you know, returning to, what programs is he going to return back to the states?<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 I\u2019m not trying to argue with you.\u00a0 I\u2019m trying to learn here.\u00a0 Terry, is there somebody who ran for office on the Republican side who did have detailed plans that you understood and agreed on how they were gonna get rid of Obamacare and how they were deal with Syria and how they were gonna rebuild the Navy?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 In this go around or the last go around?<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 In this go around.\u00a0 I\u2019m talking about this field of 17 candidates, is there anybody who had specifics on how they\u2019re gonna get rid of Obamacare, that you heard, that you liked, but they didn\u2019t win and now you\u2019re wishing they had, is there anybody?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Yeah, there was Senator Cruz who talked about it during the Senate — you know, he talked down about Senator Cruz doing his part and what he was going to do. He talked down about, you know, his limited ability in the Senate. He had his plan against McConnell, how to stop Obamacare, repeal it, and no one was on board.\u00a0 You know what?\u00a0 I\u2019d rather side with someone who has chutzpah than one who just scurrilously talks about other candidates. Hillary, you know, I don\u2019t care for Hillary, I don\u2019t care for Bill, but I don\u2019t want to dredge up old things about all his pitiful affairs and Vince Foster.\u00a0 I want to talk about facts today.\u00a0 That\u2019s what I care about.\u00a0 You know what I want the federal government to do?\u00a0 One thing:\u00a0 Defend my country and get the hell out of my way.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Get out of your way.\u00a0 Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Well, it doesn\u2019t sound like you\u2019re much of a Trumpster.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 And I won\u2019t be.\u00a0 Rush, really, I mean —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Is it because — your first complaint was — or your first reference point was you want to see how in the world he\u2019s gonna deal and reach out to the women who don\u2019t want to hear about this or that and the other thing, so you obviously are a woman who\u2019s offended by Trump and whatever his manner is.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Not so much that bothers me; I want details.\u00a0 What is he going to do in the first hundred days?\u00a0 I want details.\u00a0 I have been waiting since the first two months, and I was on board the first two months because I\u2019m also a legal immigrant to this country.\u00a0 I was all on board with his illegal immigration thing.\u00a0 And then I got off when Hugh Hewitt asked —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Terry, if you want to learn this stuff, I\u2019m just telling you what you can do.\u00a0 You can accuse me of copping out, I\u2019m not.\u00a0 But all of this stuff is spelled out at DonaldJTrump.com\/issues.\u00a0 He\u2019s got a website where he\u2019s expressed all this stuff.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 I want him, when he is interviewed on television, I want for him to explain himself.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want him to be coached through an answer.\u00a0 He has no idea what the Constitution is about.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 And that\u2019s it. Now we\u2019ve finally gotten, we\u2019ve drilled down deep enough, I now know what it is.\u00a0 You don\u2019t think Trump knows anything.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 You got it.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 You don\u2019t think Trump\u2019s informed. You think Trump\u2019s winging it. He\u2019s throwing phrases out that a bunch of people are jingoistically attached to, but he doesn\u2019t know diddly-squat about what he\u2019s talking about.\u00a0 That\u2019s what you think.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 You put your finger on it.\u00a0 He\u2019s been listening to conservative talk show —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Who?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Trump.\u00a0 He knows all the talking points.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Who is advising him? Who are these conservatives advising him?\u00a0 Everything I hear is he doesn\u2019t listen to anybody.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Well, I think he\u2019s been listening to Fox News and all the talking heads about what we Tea Partiers are talking about, but ask him when\u2019s the last time he went to a meeting about Common Core?\u00a0 Does he understand Common Core?\u00a0 Does he understand what the Constitution is about?\u00a0 Does he?\u00a0 ‘Cause he hasn\u2019t told me he does.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Well, you\u2019re not alone.\u00a0 I mean, there are a lot of people who think that Trump is not. Frankly, some of them are attracted to him for this reason: That he\u2019s not wonkish; that he doesn\u2019t talk in all of these distracting, spellbinding, impossible-to-keep-up-with ways; that he\u2019s just a real guy.\u00a0 I understand your complaint.\u00a0 I hear it and have heard it throughout the campaign from a lot of people.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not gonna try to talk you out of it.\u00a0 I\u2019m not. That\u2019s not my point.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think I could, anyway.\u00a0 You sound like your mind is really made up.\u00a0 But I need to ask you one thing.\u00a0 You know, does it not faze you, for example, that Jeff Sessions — who probably is everything you want in a candidate terms of being informed and being able to articulate it — is a big Trump supporter.\u00a0 Does that not influence you at all?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 But, Rush, two days ago — maybe three days ago — the congressman said something. You know, he was talking through a CNN interview, and at the very end he said, “Yes, Donald Trump has to become better at talking about geopolitics.”\u00a0 Well, I\u2019ve been waiting since the very beginning, and I\u2019m tired of waiting. And not only that, he\u2019ll state a policy issue one day, and on the very same day he\u2019ll be on the other side of it. So my trust factor is gone.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know which side he\u2019s coming on.\u00a0 He\u2019s sounding like Bill Clinton redux to me.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 All right.\u00a0 So you think a lot of people, then, have been really hoodwinked here? You think a lot of people supporting Trump are making a huge error?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 There are probably young people — not young people.\u00a0 I would say some young people and those who are out of jobs —<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 No.\u00a0 I\u2019m talking about people like Jeff Sessions.\u00a0 Jeff Sessions is everything you claim to want, and he\u2019s a big Trump supporter, but it doesn\u2019t influence you.<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 No, it does not, because I think these people have been bought.\u00a0 I think when he loses use of certain people, he lets them go.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Jeff Sessions has been bought?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Poor Carson. Ben Carson is gone.\u00a0 You know, he uses people and then he lets them go.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 Well, look, I\u2019m out of time here.\u00a0 I appreciate it.\u00a0 I drilled down there.\u00a0 I found out what it is.\u00a0 She thinks Trump doesn\u2019t know anything.\u00a0 He\u2019s faking it.\u00a0 He\u2019s… (interruption) He\u2019s what?\u00a0 Oh.\u00a0 Let me ask.\u00a0 Terry, let me ask you something.\u00a0 Were you a full-fledged Ted Cruz supporter?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Two months in. As I said, Rush, I am a legal immigrant who came here from Naples. I\u2019m Italian.<\/p>\n

RUSH:\u00a0 It\u2019s a yes-or-no question.\u00a0 Were you a big Cruz supporter or not, and is your my nose still out of joint \u2019cause he didn\u2019t win?<\/p>\n

CALLER:\u00a0 Yes, somewhat.\u00a0 However, I want details.\u00a0 I want to understand that he understands the whole pot. I want a hundred-day plan.\u00a0 I want to know the details, and I have been asking that since day one.<\/p>\n
