Thanks, Rush, it\u2019s a privilege.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, thank you.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/01125114.Par.89380.ImageFile.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright\"\/>CALLER: Hey, Rush, listen, I\u2019m real concerned about this deal the Republicans made with Obama. I mean it sure looks to me like we\u2019re caving because the math doesn\u2019t add up. I mean Paul Ryan was talking pretty tough about how Republicans were gonna demand $4 billion in savings every two weeks the Democrats and Obama delayed in signing a budget. Well, if $4 billion is all we save for the next two months &#8212; two weeks, and this keeps up, the way I figure it\u2019s 26 two-week periods times $4 billion every two weeks, only adds up to $104 billion a year in cuts, and that\u2019s the same figure Obama himself came up with. So if I\u2019m Obama, Reid, and Pelosi I\u2019m gonna take that deal every time. They must be laughing up their sleeves at the Republicans. Is there something I don\u2019t understand here, Rush?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Not only that, we gotta keep going through the process. If it\u2019s just a two week stopgap, guess what we gotta do for the next two weeks? We gotta go through this whole thing all over again. It\u2019s a self-repeating cycle.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: But wouldn\u2019t they just keep doing it every two weeks? It seems like we haven\u2019t done anything.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, these $4 billion cuts were Obama\u2019s cuts, from his budget.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah, that\u2019s right, he didn\u2019t give up anything he wasn\u2019t gonna give up anyway.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I know. The GOP did this so that the Democrats could not object. I mean that was one of the strategies here. It\u2019s Obama\u2019s cuts so the Democrats couldn\u2019t object. The next cuts are gonna be the Republicans\u2019. Let\u2019s keep a sharp eye on the next two weeks.
