CALLER: Hey, Rush. Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Obama\u2019s proposal on the oil company tax increase or taking away their tax credit —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — is a joke. It\u2019s an absolute joke to all consumers. All companies, Rush, work on a profit margin. That profit margin remains the same. Any increase in operation costs to that company is always passed along to the consumer. Doesn\u2019t matter what the increase is, the consumer bears the brunt. A tax increase, or the taking away of their tax credit will result in an increase of operation cost to that oil company. As a result, it will result in higher gasoline prices to the consumer and a further drag on the economy. The whole thing is smoke and mirrors. We, the consumer, ends up paying the bill on all of this stuff.<\/p>\n

RUSH: As it always has been the case.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: As always been the case. Well, you see, I appreciate your analysis of this on the merits. But Obama doesn\u2019t care about any of that. For Obama\u2019s purposes, it\u2019s corporate jet versus kids; it\u2019s Big Oil versus college education. He\u2019s pitting groups of Americans against each other. The real world facts in terms of dollar and cents, money and what ends up costing people things, that\u2019s not relevant to him. He\u2019s in reelection mode, and he cannot run on his record. No one with his record could. He\u2019s not going to run on his record. He can\u2019t run on his record. He can\u2019t say, “Reelect me and get four more years of this.” He\u2019s got only one card to play, basically two: “Republicans are mean-spirited, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobes. They don\u2019t care about your kids. Republicans only care about corporate jets,” from the guy who practically lives on the biggest corporate jet in the world. So it\u2019s dishonest and it\u2019s disingenuous. <\/p>\n

Of course, the middle class will have to pay for any increases in corporate taxes or any increases in taxes on oil. Where\u2019s Joe Bite Me in the middle of all this? Joe Bite Me is supposed to protect the middle class. The middle class is in the crosshairs. You want to talk about who\u2019s killing the jobs, Obama was lecturing us all about the importance of job creation, as though he knows anything about it? Believe me, folks, he doesn\u2019t. This isn\u2019t just talk show ranting. He doesn\u2019t know, folks, about job creation. He has no training in it; he\u2019s got no experience in it. He\u2019s a parasite. He\u2019s like all liberals, they\u2019re parasites. They wait for everybody else to do the work and then they feed off of it, and they assume, like all parasites do, that the host is always gonna just be there, that the host is always gonna be growing and doing what it does, to be fed off of. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re just looking at a man and a party that are a bunch of parasites. He is destroying the host per se. He\u2019s destroying the domestic oil business. He\u2019s destroying the coal industry. He\u2019s causing electricity rates to skyrocket. He\u2019s blocking oil drilling in the Gulf and Alaska, the continental shelf. His minions are killing nuclear power. And now he\u2019s pushing for increases in taxes on oil. We never hear a single news report about all the jobs that are being destroyed because of his policies. All we hear about is, “Gee, will this work for Obama and his reelection?” I\u2019ll tell you, it\u2019s near criminal, the kind of things that are happening.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: St. George, Utah, David. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Good afternoon, Mr. Limbaugh. I\u2019m a United States Navy retired, and I am a corporate pilot. Listening to Mr. Obama\u2019s speech today, the guy just does not understand the unintended consequences of bashing corporate planes and corporate jets. Those guys that own those planes and jets, they support me. They support the maintenance guys, the fuel people, all the people at the FBOs. It\u2019s a huge industry, and I just don\u2019t understand why this guy bashes them.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, it\u2019s why I say he\u2019s parasite.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He\u2019s a literal parasite. You know, in a way we can\u2019t blame the poor S-O… Son of a gun. He doesn\u2019t know; he just doesn\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I\u2019d like him to know that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: One of our dogs — poor Wellesley, cutest little sheepdog puppy — just no matter what we do… You know, I\u2019m sitting on the couch, and Kathryn will come home and the dogs go nuts when Kathryn comes home; and this dog, I\u2019ll have the iPad, and I\u2019ll be flitting around on the couch, too. She\u2019ll just attack. She just starts licking me and I put my arms up to protect myself. “No, Wellesley, no,” and Kathryn says, “She just doesn\u2019t know.” Well, Obama just doesn\u2019t know. He just doesn\u2019t know. He thinks that attacking corporate air travel and corporate air manufacturing happens in a vacuum. He gets away with criticizing it; he gets his class envy advantage out of it. What harm takes place, if any, it\u2019s deserved, in his mind. On the other hand, on the other hand, he is a wrecking crew — a one-man wrecking ball on all this — and there\u2019s a greater sophistication on the part of the American people as to just how big a wrecking ball and parasite this guy and his party are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s it, folks. It\u2019s over. Sadly, it\u2019s over. It\u2019s the end of the program today, but… I know. Even if Obama knew the damage he was doing, he wouldn\u2019t care. And that\u2019s really the problem.<\/p>\n
