RUSH: Good for you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Love it. I\u2019m so proud to be part of that. What I want to share with you is, I think what the Republican Party desperately needs is a solid, proud, basically fearless individual who\u2019s principled and says what he means and does what he says, much like Benjamin Netanyahu.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yep. Netanyahu has taken everybody to school. Netanyahu has shown how it\u2019s done. You know what makes Netanyahu Netanyahu? What do you think it is that makes…? Let me just ask you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What is it that makes Netanyahu Netanyahu?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s principled, he\u2019s proud, he\u2019s conservative. He\u2019s everything he portrays himself to be.<\/p>\n<\/p>\nRUSH: Yeah, but wait. Wait. Now, there are a lot of principled conservatives, a lot of proud conservatives. But they\u2019re not Benjamin Netanyahu. What makes Benjamin Netanyahu Benjamin Netanyahu? There is an answer here. I don\u2019t mean to be putting you on the spot, but…<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I\u2019m enjoying it, actually. I think he\u2019s a solid individual, and he\u2019s got a very, I\u2019d say, strong belief system, and he\u2019s honest.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You are getting warmer.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (chuckles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: But it\u2019s a one-word answer.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. (chuckles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: It begins with a P.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I said “principled,” and I said “proud.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Passion.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely! How could I miss? (chuckles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: It is passion that allows Netanyahu to animate those principles, to bring them to life. His beliefs, his policies, his ability to conduct himself as he did in the Oval Office or yesterday at the joint meeting of Congress. It\u2019s the passion that he believes, the passion for his beliefs — the desire to shout them from the mountaintop, the desire to be understood, the desire for nobody to be confused after they\u2019ve heard him speak. But it is passion, excitement, eagerness, good cheer. Passion is what brings all of the ingredients to life, and it is passion that is the magnet that draws people to you. I mean, if you listen to two schlubs talk about bowling in a passionate way, they own you. Passion is the key. <\/p>\n

The Republican Party needs some passion — and I\u2019m sorry, folks, moderates just don\u2019t have any.<\/p>\n
