CALLER: Hello. How are you today, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Excellent. Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you for taking my call.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You bet, sir. I mean, was that it? Or is he gone? <\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I was expecting an invitation to talk.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh. Well, you have it, by all means. Feel free.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, the reason for my call was concern over the conservative communication in the aftermath of Walker\u2019s victory in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And as you well know the liberal media and the unions have been beating the heck out of Walker and Republicans, you know, based on trickery and forced down our throats this mean-spirited and all —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right, right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — that stuff having to do with process.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Standard operating procedure.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There you go. And the Republicans have, rightly, been focusing on the outcome in terms of the positive.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: But I find myself concerned that there are three errors of omission in the Republican communication, or at least a lack of explicit emphasis.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What\u2019s one of them? I got a time problem. What\u2019s the most important one?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, the most important one is there\u2019s no emphasis on the fact that he saved 6,000 teacher and other union jobs by doing it the way he did do it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The other part of that is that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, you know, I don\u2019t mean to be rude but this break doesn\u2019t move. It\u2019s not flexible. But this is an ongoing complaint, “Where are our good headlines?” The good result doesn\u2019t matter. I want the headlines. Remind me to chat this up tomorrow. I\u2019ve got to explain this.<\/p>\n
