CALLER: Hi, Rush. Great to talk to you.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Thank you. You bet.<\/p>\n
CALLER: You know, I\u2019ve been watching Obama lately, and honestly, I don\u2019t think he wants the job anymore. I don\u2019t. I think there\u2019s no fire in what he\u2019s talking about, unless he\u2019s (garbled).<\/p>\n
CALLER: Uh-huh.<\/p>\n
RUSH: He no longer has the magic to mesmerize people.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yup.<\/p>\n
RUSH: He\u2019s unhappy. The reality that he is not that big a deal to people anymore, has sunk in. He wants to be reelected as badly as anybody who has ever run for the office. What you\u2019re seeing as degeneration and disinterest or whatever, is nothing other than a narcissist facing the reality that the world doesn\u2019t revolve around him.<\/p>\n
CALLER: That\u2019s right. And he\u2019s used to be being adored, and he hasn\u2019t been. He\u2019s gotten push-back in the last year. You may be right about that but I just see someone who does not seem interested. I just he just wants to go away and have the title of past president.<\/p>\n
RUSH: If he didn\u2019t want to run, he\u2019s be out of there.<\/p>\n
CALLER: You think?<\/p>\n
RUSH: He wants to change the country. He has said it, and he means it. When you are president, when you\u2019re president and you view your commitment not to constitutional government, not to the market system, not to individual rights — but rather to big government and socialism, group rights — you\u2019re not capable of promoting the common good. You\u2019re not capable of promoting the decency that is this country. So you have to at least try to hide what you\u2019re really doing or mask it in some other way, which is what you\u2019re seeing. Obama cannot be honest with you about what he really wants to do. Now more than ever. So you\u2019re looking at a mishmash of a guy that not even the teleprompter is making sense any more, but he\u2019s a gotta go out there and try because he\u2019s a gotta raise money. He\u2019s ticked off that he has to do that, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
