CALLER: Hi, Rush. I wanted to respond to your not voting if Mitt Romney is the candidate for Republicans.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yes, ma\u2019am.<\/p>\n
CALLER: That would be me. <\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes. I have to say that you taught me better. And you taught me to be a better conservative. And you taught me to be actually conservative and stand for principles, and Romney doesn\u2019t seem to be that way. And luckily, in my lifetime, the Tea Party has come along, which seemed more conservative than even Republicans were supposed to be.<\/p>\n
RUSH: They are. The Republican establishment doesn\u2019t dig the Tea Party.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Right. Right. The Tea Party has been such a boost to Republicans and to conservatives who were watching their candidates and their elected officials come to the center, walk to the center and compromise on their values. And that\u2019s why the Tea Party has been so phenomenal for those of us who want to remain conservative.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay. I wanted to hear from one of you. I don\u2019t have time to talk to you about it now, but I\u2019m glad to know that you\u2019re out there. I\u2019m sure there are a lot more people like you. I\u2019m detecting massive anti-Romney sentiment out there. There\u2019s no question about it. That\u2019s just another thing I have to do. Okay.
