CALLER: Hello?<\/p>\n
RUSH: It\u2019s spelled K-r-s-g-e, and that\u2019s “Krs\u2019geville,” and I never heard of that, and I know Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, it\u2019s K-r-e. Kres, K-r-e-s-g.<\/p>\n
RUSH: I\u2019ve got it now.<\/p>\n
CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n
RUSH: You\u2019re in Kresgeville.<\/p>\n
CALLER: It\u2019s an honor to speak to you, sir.<\/p>\n
RUSH: I know. I know. Thank you very much.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I\u2019ve listened to you since you burst through the airwaves with your excellence in conservatism.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And I need to speak to you about three points if I can.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Sure. Fire away.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, he\u2019s made a decision, he\u2019s not gonna back off of it.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No.<\/p>\n
RUSH: That\u2019s the decision that he\u2019s made.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And then he said, “Well, I wasn\u2019t with President Obama on this,” but yet I\u2019m concerned about his ideology and what his subliminal message is regarding his love for Romneycare, and it just concerns me that people are just talking about his performance. I listen to Fox News, all I hear is performance, performance, performance. Everybody says, “You know, you gotta have the great performance!”<\/p>\n
RUSH: You know, that is an excellent point you\u2019re making. That is how these people are judged. It\u2019s the television age, and that\u2019s how Obama is still judged. I can watch the inside-the-Beltway media types marvel. “Obama makes a great speech,” it doesn\u2019t matter what he says.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, just give him an Emmy and send them on their way for their acting ability, \u2019cause they\u2019re getting away with… They\u2019re trying to put Cain in who has no governance experience.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n
CALLER: He is an excellent person, I love Mr. Cain, but he has no governance experience. And then you look at the others who have no governance experience, and the only one that does is a man who doesn\u2019t speak — and that\u2019s Perry. He won against Kay Bailey Hutchison.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Now, wait. He speaks.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Hmm? I\u2019m sorry?<\/p>\n
RUSH: He speaks. I mean Perry talks. He just doesn\u2019t —<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yeah, but he coulda come back at Mr. Romney and said, “Oh, well, then you do love your Romneycare. You\u2019re defending it.”<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah. So you don\u2019t believe Romney when he says he\u2019d repeal Obamacare?<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, I don\u2019t believe that! How would I believe that? He\u2019s like Obama. He moved to the right and he\u2019s like what Mr. Perry said: He\u2019s Obama light.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well…<\/p>\n
CALLER: I don\u2019t believe this.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay, so —<\/p>\n
CALLER: I think that we\u2019ve gotta stop this with the “performance.”<\/p>\n
RUSH: All right. So you\u2019re —<\/p>\n
CALLER: And look at — look at — you know, we\u2019re put — we\u2019re trying to put people in who have no experience in governance.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Yeah. Yeah. Well, so your default choice, then, is Rick Perry?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Pardon me? I couldn\u2019t hear you.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Your default choice is Rick Perry, then?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes! Because he\u2019s successful and he is against global warming. He comes out and says it, and he\u2019s not perfect. Nobody\u2019s perfect. But I think the people in Texas really like him.<\/p>\n
RUSH: He\u2019s a damn good-looking guy, a lot of people tell me.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Come on!<\/p>\n
RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n
CALLER: And, you know, nobody\u2019s really listening to what he\u2019s saying. They all attacked him, I remember at the first debate. He says, “Nobody will let me finish talking,” and when he said that with his — that injection, that, you know, the — whatever that was —<\/p>\n
RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n
CALLER: — that immunization thing, he said, “Oh, oh…” He says people could have opted out.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Look, it\u2019s not over for Rick Perry by a long shot. There\u2019s much more than debates that people get judged on. Speeches on the stump that are seen on television, campaign ads and so forth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
