RUSH: I was in stunned disbelief, and that takes something when I\u2019m looking at Joe Biden, but I was in stunned disbelief listening to a couple of sound bites, actually watching a couple of video clips of the vice president of the United States. This is late Tuesday afternoon in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania. There was a roundtable with police chiefs from the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and Delaware to discuss the impact of budget cuts on their ability to effectively police their communities. <\/p>\n

And Biden, who started this theme<\/a> in Flint, Michigan, he went to Flint, Michigan, last week, and he said, (paraphrasing) “If we don\u2019t get these new dollars appropriated for the American Jobs Act, there\u2019s gonna be more rapes and there\u2019s gonna be more murders. There\u2019s gonna be more purse snatching. There\u2019s gonna be more crime. There\u2019s gonna be more mayhem.” And everybody just cocked their heads and laughed, “What in the world are you talking about? Are you serious?” And then the most reasonable people said, “Somebody at the regime is gonna get hold of the guy and walk him back from this.” No. He\u2019s doubling down on it.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: Let me tell you, it\u2019s not temporary when that 911 call comes in and a woman\u2019s being raped if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape, it\u2019s not temporary to that woman. It\u2019s not temporary to the guy whose store is being held up and there\u2019s a gun pointed at his head, if a cop shows up and he\u2019s not killed, that\u2019s not temporary to that store owner. Give me a break — temporary!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, what he\u2019s talking about here is what\u2019s true. The amount of money in the so-called American Jobs Act would hire teachers and firefighters and policemen for one year. It is temporary. And after that, it\u2019s up to the local communities to come up with the money themselves. So the regime feels the need to beat that down, to beat it back, so they\u2019ve sent Plugs out there to suggest that if we don\u2019t spend this money, that there will be more rapes and more stores will be robbed, there will be more crime, there will be more murder, there will be more mayhem. Now, this is completely unhinged. This is a guy who is becoming unglued in front of the American people and apparently doing so happily, doing so with great energy. Here\u2019s Wednesday afternoon, this is the Russell Senate office building rotunda, the Human Events reporter, Jason Mattera is interviewing Vice President Bite Me, and here is this exchange, you\u2019ll hear a couple of women in this bite too.<\/line><\/p>\n

MATTERA: Do you regret using a rape reference to describe Republican opposition to the President\u00c2\u2019s bill?<\/p>\n

BIDEN: I didn\u00c2\u2019t use – no, no, no. What I said, let\u2019s get it straight, guys. Don\u2019t screw around with me. Let\u00c2\u2019s get it straight.<\/p>\n

MATTERA: You didn\u2019t use a rape reference?<\/p>\n

BIDEN: No, let me explain, listen to me.<\/p>\n

MATTERA: I\u2019m listening.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: I said rape was up three times in Flint. There are the numbers. Go look at numbers. Murder\u2019s up, rape is up and burglary\u2019s up. That\u00c2\u2019s exactly what I said.<\/p>\n

MATTERA: And if the Republicans don\u2019t pass this bill then rape will continue to rise.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: Murder will continue to rise, rape will continue to rise, all crimes will continue to rise.<\/p>\n

MATTERA: Do you think it\u2019s appropriate for the Vice President to use language in such —<\/p>\n

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE 1: We gotta go.<\/p>\n

MATTERA: — a way?<\/p>\n

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE 2: Okay. I\u2019m sorry. We gotta to go.<\/p>\n

RUSH: We gotta go. Those are the unidentified female staffers finally saying, “Okay, enough,” we gotta get him outta here \u2019cause he\u2019s digging an even deeper hole. More rape, more murder, more crime unless we spend more federal dollars. Not just in Flint, in Pennsylvania and everywhere. And it continued. This is literally out of control. Now, folks, let me tell you about this. Everybody\u2019s hearing this, when I say everybody, I\u2019m talking about voters. Everybody\u2019s seeing this and everybody\u2019s hearing it. Now, you don\u2019t see the Drive-Bys commenting on it. The Drive-Bys are not analyzing it in any way, shape, manner, or form. It\u2019s getting some airtime, but this is the stuff that permeates; this is the stuff that hits people. <\/p>\n

The vice president is making an abject fool of himself, and everybody in this country sees this, and it registers. The media think that they can limit the impact of this by not talking about it, by ignoring it. They continue to misunderestimate the power of this program and other elements of the New Media. They also continue to misunderestimate the impact of such blatant, unhinged, deranged behavior from the vice president of the United States. There are people on the left, Democrats, who are cringing in embarrassment when he says this stuff. There are others who are not Democrats, the precious beloved independents, their mouths fall open in shock and dismay, stunned disbelief. And then there are those of us who watch this, see it for what it is, truly unglued, unhinged, and don\u2019t doubt me for a moment, this is having a profound impact on people. <\/p>\n

It is making this administration look foolish. It\u2019s making Obama look foolish. It\u2019s making Biden look foolish. It\u2019s causing people to confirm their suspicions of the incompetence and the deranged extremism and wackiness of this regime. You know, it\u2019s one thing to go to Flint, Michigan, and say this, maybe you get lost in the enthusiasm of the moment and you\u2019re in a friendly crowd. If you\u2019re Biden you think it sounds good, then you see some people react to it. But to double down on this and it becomes a stump speech? It\u2019s absurd. It\u2019s patently absurd. No reasonable people in the world, in the country are going to believe this, that in order to stop rape and murder, we have to spend $35 billion on Friday. That\u2019s when Dingy\u2019s gonna have his vote, right? By Friday. So Dingy wants his vote on the $35 billion jobs portion of this debacle — and what Plugs is telling us here, that if we don\u2019t get this $35 billion, rape and murder and mayhem and store robberies are gonna skyrocket. <\/p>\n

Now, nobody believes this. I can\u2019t say nobody; I mean there\u2019s two or three people, but I mean you know full well, this is… I\u2019m at a loss to describe this in terms of how it is affecting people. Biden\u2019s coming across as an absolute unhinged fool. And then he went to a school. He went to Goode Elementary School, fourth grade class, York, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: In this school, your school, you have had a lot of teachers who used to work here, but because there\u2019s no money for them in the city they\u2019re not working. We think the federal government, Washington, DC, should say to the cities and states, “We\u2019re going to give you some money.” And the way we\u2019re going to do it is we\u2019re going to ask people who have a lot of money to pay a little bit more in taxes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, he went on in this bite to say millionaires, we\u2019re going to get millionaires, we\u2019re going to get $500 from millionaires. He kept pounding home that we\u2019re only going to take $500 from millionaires. This is a fourth grade class. Indoctrination, propaganda, whatever, but it is once again using these kids, scaring these kids. They might not get home alive. These kids might get raped on the way home from school unless we get that money from those millionaires and get more cops and teachers hired by Friday. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
