<\/p>\nRUSH: Moments ago, ladies and gentlemen, I told you that Newt had a stage event with a cast of characters out there. We now have the audio from that event. We have two sound bites. It was Newt apparently as America\u2019s grandfather. Here\u2019s the first of the two bites.<\/p>\n

GINGRICH: Robert, come on over. This is our grandson, and we always check in with he and his sister. She couldn\u2019t get off because she actually has ballet the next couple of days, but Robert is — you\u2019re playing hooky. This is an educational field trip for Robert, and I\u2019m thrilled and he\u2019s very good at chess, and he thinks deeply, and he gives me key advice which is mostly to keep it shorter and clearer.<\/p>\n
RUSH: And one more bite.<\/p>\n
GINGRICH: Maggie, his older sister, who\u2019s 12, is my other adviser. And her basic role is to make sure I smile often enough \u2019cause I\u2019m too intense, apparently, and so she counts my smiles at every debate. I check in with both of them, and their advice has been pretty steady all the way through. This is their mother, Jackie Cushman, and our daughter. This is my sister, Susan, and we\u2019re looking for — I have another sister I think here somewhere, Robbie, but I don\u2019t know where she is right now, and this is my brother Randy.<\/p>\n
