CALLER: Hi, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, listen, I don\u2019t want anybody to think that this is a setup call or I\u2019m shilling for you or anything like that, but my oldest daughter bought me Two If By Tea<\/a> for Christmas as a Christmas present. I wanted to let you know it is truly a wonderful product.<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: Well, thank you very much. If this were a setup or if you were a paid snitch you\u2019d have been in the first hour. Tell \u2019em how long you\u2019ve been on hold.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019ve been on hold for about an hour-and-a-half.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay, there you go.<\/p>\n

CALLER: One of my proudest accomplishments is, the daughter that bought it for me, she\u2019s a big fan and she is very conservative. She got me the regular tea with real sugar in it, with the mugs and the red, white, and blue jelly beans.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, wow.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The tea itself is a fantastic product, but everything, the packaging, I actually saved the empty bottles and my wife threw \u2019em out. She thought that was too weird.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Those bottles are collectors items.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Those bottles, that\u2019s the finest label in the beverage business.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s the classiest label, plus the added benefit of having my picture on there as Rush Revere. But the bottle is high quality, the label is high quality, the tea, it\u2019s better than anything out there, it really is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, you can see through the plastic like it\u2019s glass, it\u2019s that clear.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s right. There\u2019s no gunk. Gunk-free. No sediment in there or anything.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I gave my brother Tom a bottle a couple of weeks ago. I keep calling him asking him how it is and he hasn\u2019t opened it yet because he doesn\u2019t want to drink it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why, is he a liberal?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no, he\u2019s a conservative. Because once he drinks it, it\u2019s gone. I\u2019m not giving him another one, because I only got two left.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, he\u2019s one of those. He doesn\u2019t want to get the massage because it\u2019s gonna end.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) Yeah, something like that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I used to be that way, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s not only the tea, but the packaging and everything is just really a good product.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, we had a lot of people comment about the packaging and I appreciate that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m gonna have to hide the empties now.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know what to do? A friend of mine, Rebecca, came in. She was with Larry Arnn at Hillsdale College<\/a>. She came in last week and said that she hides the Two If By Tea in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator because she knows that her husband is never gonna open the vegetable drawer. She puts her Two If By Tea <\/a>there, knowing nobody will find it. Hides it under a bunch of lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, and that stuff. Every time she opens it, it\u2019s always there. We spent a lot of time on the packaging. You know, Apple has a whole division that does nothing but test the customer reaction to opening the box. It\u2019s got to be magic. Opening the box, they got a whole division that does nothing but that. We\u2019re close to that, not quite there yet, but close.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Two If By Tea, the way tea ought to be, the way tea is. There\u2019s magic opening the bottle. That\u2019s what the guy was gonna say, opening a bottle of Two If By Tea is magic. So is it when you get the packaging, seeing it\u2019s done right. I\u2019m ecstatic when people call here — that guy stayed on hold an hour-and-a-half. What did he call himself, a shill? He didn\u2019t want to shill. Yeah, he didn\u2019t want to seem like it was staged. If it was staged he wouldn\u2019t-a been on hold for an hour-and-a-half. <\/p>\n
