CALLER: Hi, Rush. I get tongue-tied here, but I want to tell you that I am sorry. I used to think you were nothing but a blowhard \u2019cause I never listened to you. But I live in a Republican state that is a blue city, you know, and liberal city. And so I just went with what everybody else said that were just blah, blah, blah, mouthy and didn\u2019t know what you were talking about.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me guess.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I believed all the crap.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I lie. I make things up.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, and then the drugs and blah, blah, blah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And I hate women and I\u2019m a racist and a bigot and all that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, well, I want to tell you I am so sorry, because I have follow Fox now. In fact, I\u2019m almost addicted to it. I can\u2019t help it. From, you know, five o\u2019clock \u2019til ten o\u2019clock I watch it continually. But what I want to thank you for —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second. Who is your favorite person on Fox?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I like Hannity.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, cool.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Because he really gets down to it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, he\u2019ll love hearing that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And I love his radio show.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I\u2019m addicted to radio now!<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know why? Radio, if it\u2019s done right, is compelling.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s the most powerful medium there is.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You can\u2019t see anything with radio. You have to use all your senses. You can\u2019t be lulled into sleep if radio is good. Television can put you to sleep.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I appreciate that. That\u2019s very nice of you to say.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I want to tell you, can I just take a little bit more time to tell you something?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, sure.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, I listened to Dick Morris <\/a>last night talk about the issue you brought up with birth control, contraception. And he explained it in a political way. And I think I\u2019m so smart because I am a very smart woman. And I have several degrees and held high jobs and on and on and on. I\u2019m 56, the new term “menopausal.” They got the wrong people fighting in Iraq, by the way. They ought to send menopausal women. We don\u2019t mess around.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I understand that. Believe me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Boom! That Iran would be gone in a second. Anyway, but I\u2019m off topic. What I called to tell you is I listened to Dick Morris and it enlightened me a little bit, but you today explained it on an everyday people\u2019s level. And here I think I\u2019m so smart, I don\u2019t need to have it explained any further. But I can\u2019t believe these people sit around and can calculate seven times down the road what they\u2019re gonna do! I was raised that you\u2019re truthful. And you know what scares me? We raised our son — who\u2019s adopted with the Catholic Church saved from abortion, by the way. And we are not Catholic, we are evangelistic. But anyway, you explained it in a way I just went, “Oh, my gosh! I can\u2019t believe they are that corrupt.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: The one thing that makes it work, I mean the Democrats could strategize all they want. If they didn\u2019t have a media that was part of their operation, none of this, or very little of it, Joyce, could they implement. You realize this required a debate moderator working with the White House and the Democrat National Committee to bring this off? George Stephanopoulos<\/a>. Now, George Stephanopoulos ran the Bill Clinton war room. George Stephanopoulos is as down and dirty as anybody in politics needs to be to get whatever needs to be done, done. He may be small in stature, but this guy is not the marshmallow man, and now he\u2019s over at ABC, and he\u2019s supposedly an objective journalist. He supposedly doesn\u2019t have an opinion about things. He supposedly is uninterested in outcomes. <\/p>\n

It turns out he is complicit. He is a part of what is a conspiracy here. And by conspiracy, some people have gotten together, they have conspired in order secure an outcome, they\u2019re in this, the process of doing it. It has been uncovered. It\u2019s been discovered. They won\u2019t care, by the way, Joyce. They\u2019ll just deny it and they\u2019ll accuse me and others who say this of being extremists and paranoid and all that. But if the Democrat Party did not have their willing accomplices in the media to implement their strategy, they would not be able to get away with all this enforcement and all this advanced thinking and the ability to pull this off. And therefore what you need to be — and I think you\u2019re getting there — what you need to be is suspicious of virtually everything you hear and read and see in conventional media. <\/p>\n

You\u2019ve got to understand that everything there, I don\u2019t care. Washington Post, New York Times, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, LA Times. It\u2019s all oriented toward two things: advancing the Democrat Party and whoever runs it — in this case, Barack Obama — and, at the same time, defeating, embarrassing and humiliating the Republicans and conservatives. Those are the two things that are the daily objectives of the media in this country. There is no news, Joyce. You don\u2019t turn on the news now to find out what is happening in the world. You turn on the news to find out what Obama is doing and how well he\u2019s doing it, and how much people love Obama, and how he loves the country and how he\u2019s doing great things for seniors. He\u2019s putting $40 a month in people\u2019s pockets that Republicans want to take out of their pockets. <\/p>\n

He\u2019s saving people from these Republicans who want to ban birth control pills. He\u2019s saving people from the Republicans who want to ban abortion. You must understand this going forward. I think you instinctively are starting to now. But you must watch the news and inherently, instinctively distrust all of it. And then keep watching, and later on learn what they did that was accurate and true and what wasn\u2019t. But the best way to get through this is to distrust all of it. ABC, CBS, NBC, New York Times, Washington Post, when it comes to presidential politics, when it comes to Washington political news, distrust all of it. <\/p>\n

The media are a stronger and more fanatical, more committed opponent of the Republican Party than even Obama is, Joyce. And that\u2019s saying something. ‘Cause Obama is an ardent foe. The media is stronger, more fanatical, more committed opponent of the Republican Party than even Obama. The media today is simply the implementation arm of the Democrat Party. They are simply executing a political agenda, pure and simple, and nothing more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
