RUSH: Hey, by the way, folks, if you\u2019ll permit me just one more observation<\/a> about this woman, Tracie McMillan, her book on food justice. Are we really supposed to believe that only Walmart is selling below quality produce? Do you think Whole Foods might be doing this? Do you think Costco might be? Do you think any of these chains? Why Walmart? Why does this political science major writing a book about food justice focus on Walmart and produce at Walmart? <\/p>\n

Are we really supposed to believe that other grocery stores don\u2019t do what that woman\u2019s accusing Walmart of doing? They all trim their products. They all crisp it. They all fresh it up. They all do what she accused Walmart of doing. Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. That\u2019s Barack Obama. That\u2019s who he is. He\u2019s an acolyte of Saul Alinsky, and that\u2019s right from Rules for Radicals, which, by the way, was dedicated to Satan as the first radical. Saul Alinsky dedicated the book Rules for Radicals to Lucifer as the first real radical.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There you are!<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Great to have you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. It\u2019s an honor. I hope “Sandra” is still one of your top ten favorite names after the Sandra Fluke incident.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing) You hope Sandra is one of my all time favorite names? Yours is, yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great. I wanted to let you know I drove by Whole Foods yesterday, which is organic food — supposedly the best — and they now accept EBT cards, which, in New Mexico means food stamps.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. The EBT, the debit card, food stamps. They really aren\u2019t food stamps anymore. It\u2019s a debit card.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right, right. But you were talking earlier about how the government is gonna start controlling — or wants to start controlling — the best food for the low income. Well, they can already get it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, it\u2019s not… Let me clarify. It\u2019s not that they want to control the best food getting to certain people. That\u2019s just the ploy to get you to go along with it. That is the sympathetic tug at your heartstrings. The purpose of the book is to make you break down in tears practically over the unfairness that the poor are getting shafted. The stuff that they\u2019re able to buy is second-rate, third-rate. It\u2019s dirty, it\u2019s filthy, it\u2019s artificially made to look healthy. It has no flavor and it isn\u2019t any good. You\u2019re supposed to then (just like with global warming) accept the premise that the private sector is failing basic human needs, and the government has to take over.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not about the best food getting to poor people.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s just to tug at your heartstrings.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s just how they get you to go along with the premise that the private sector is incapable of feeding this nation, when I don\u2019t think there\u2019s a nation on earth that has fed itself better than this one. And by this babe\u2019s admission in her book: Food is the last base human need the government doesn\u2019t control. So you\u2019re supposed to have tears in your eyes and pain in your heart when you hear that Walmart shoppers are basically buying crud. That then will make you accept the premise that the government should fix it, just like you are to accept premise that your car and your air-conditioning and your profligate lifestyle has led to climate destruction. And the way to fix it is to let the government come in and limit your emissions, limit the kind of car you can drive or where you can drive it or whatever they need to do to “save the planet.”<\/p>\n

Everything\u2019s a crisis.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get derailed by the so-called details here.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t lose sight of the big picture.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Rush, about this war on women\u2019s health issue.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Wasn\u2019t it the Obama administration that tried to ban breast cancer drug, I think it was called Avaxin, and then they also raised the age limit to get a breast cancer exam from 40 to 50?<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s part of Obamacare. There is a breast cancer drug that is very expensive that they limited use of. That\u2019s right. I can\u2019t remember the name of this drug.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think it was Avaxin. It\u2019s a very popular drug. They was a real outcry because of that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That sounds right. Yeah, but too expensive, it\u2019s a drug that its primary purpose is very expensive, but there\u2019s a secondary benefit from it. Avastin, you\u2019re right.<\/p>\n

<\/a>CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Avastin is the drug, that\u2019s right. It was the regime that was going to limit that. And you\u2019re right: It was the regime that\u2019s gonna raise the age and limit the number of times mammograms can take place.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And these are true women\u2019s health issues, not contraception and abortion or quote “reproductive rights.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019re absolutely right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: The war on women\u2019s health is really by Obama.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I agree.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And, by the way, you realize that you just started the war on education by calling students “spoiled brats.” So you\u2019re the one who\u2019s going to lead the cause against that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n

CALLER: You realize that, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Probably. (laughing) Thank you very much, Alan.<\/p>\n
