RUSH: Budgets are being discussed. Paul Ryan is, for all intents and purposes, the budget leader for the Republicans in the House. He released a video previewing the release next week of the Republicans\u2019 proposed fiscal year 2013 budget proposal. There was about a minute and a half of it. We have about 33 seconds of it. It\u2019s awesome. People who have watched the whole video have said, “Why isn\u2019t this guy running for president? There\u2019s our candidate, Paul Ryan.” Listen to this…<\/p>\n
RYAN: You know, I was here in Congress in 2008 when we had the economic crisis. It was a terrible time. (dramatic music) Millions of people lost their jobs, trillions of dollars of wealth gone. This coming debt crisis is the most predictable crisis we\u2019ve ever had in this country. And look what\u2019s happening. This is why we\u2019re acting. This is why we\u2019re leading. This is why we\u2019re proposing, and passing out of the House, a budget to fix this problem so we can save our country for ourselves and for our children\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
