CALLER: Hey, I just wanted to call and say thanks for what you\u2019re doing. You\u2019ve made a huge difference in my life and in my girls\u2019 lives. My youngest wants to be president one day, so thank you. I grew up in a Democrat household, very Democrat. Half of our family was black; half our family was white. I grew up hating Ronald Reagan, thinking he was gonna start World War III. I went to school and was taught in college that, you know, the Founding Fathers were elitists. And then the wall came down, and it totally changed! Like it rocked my world because I thought, “Wait a second. If all this is true, how is this happening?” So then I found you on the radio and have been listening to you, and it\u2019s just great.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, that\u2019s music to my ears. We are here to make a difference.<\/p>\n
CALLER: And you have. Our youngest was watching the Palin interview the other day, and she was watching it, and the minute Matt Lauer started asking questions, she looked at me and she goes, “He\u2019s a liberal, isn\u2019t he?”<\/p>\n
