RUSH: Well, see? My instincts were right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Really an honor to talk to you, sir.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much, sir.<\/p>\n

CALLER: How is everything going with you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Everything… Well… (chuckling)<\/p>\n

CALLER: (chuckling) Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ll just tell you that everything\u2019s fine. What do I have to complain about?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Not a thing!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: Nobody likes hearing people complain about anything. I\u2019m fine, couldn\u2019t be better.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Nothing to complain about. One of the best golfers I\u2019ve ever seen and somebody that\u2019s made the best tea I\u2019ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wow! I think you\u2019re talking about me.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Heh, heh. Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You like the tea? That\u2019s really nice of you to say. What flavor? What flavor do you like?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Greatest tea I\u2019ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What flavor?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just got the original.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The original.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you\u2019re making my day here — and you\u2019re making Kathryn\u2019s day, too.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (laughing) I hope so, \u2019cause you made mine when I got the order.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I really appreciate that. That\u2019s nice of you to say. We\u2019ve got an announcement coming this week, by the way, on a new addition to the product line. Ever since we started TwoIfByTea.com<\/a> — and, by the way, we called the two winners last night of the trip for four to Boston for a total of eight people. (interruption) Yes, H.R., I call \u2019em personally. Well, Kathryn is on the road, so we conference call. So she placed the call and conferenced me in, as soon as we figured out that the caller ID would block. Then she conferences me in. But normally we\u2019d call from the same phone. The phones were working. Yes, the phones were working last night.<\/p>\n

And this was funny. The first winner didn\u2019t answer and didn\u2019t have an answering machine, the first time. The second winner, a woman answered and we said, “Is Bob there?”<\/p>\n

“Who?”<\/p>\n

“Bob. This is Rush and Kathryn Limbaugh, and we\u2019re calling to…”<\/p>\n

“Oh, come on! He\u2019s not here. He just stepped out.”<\/p>\n

“Oh, well, that\u2019s too bad, because it is Rush and Kathryn Limbaugh. We\u2019re calling to say that he is the winner of our contest.”<\/p>\n

“Really?”<\/p>\n

“Yeah. He won the three days and two nights in Boston.”<\/p>\n

And, all of a sudden, Bob\u2019s on the phone. Bob had not “stepped out.” Bob was there all along. (laughing) Bob picks up the phone, couldn\u2019t believe it. It\u2019s fun to do that. It\u2019s fun to do that. When we get an answering machine, I always say, “Boy, you are gonna regret this.” I leave a message, and I say, “By the way, don\u2019t erase this so you can play for your friends that it actually happened.” They\u2019re always as sweet as they can be, these people, and they\u2019re so appreciative. But we\u2019ve got a new product entering the product line. I think we\u2019re gonna be announcing it Thursday. It\u2019s one day this week, and, from the very beginning of Two If By Tea, this has been something people have been in some cases demanding, others asking for.<\/p>\n

So we\u2019ve decided that we\u2019re going to throw it in. That will be announced. But I hope you have tasted the new peach and the blueberry. “Blueberry with tea?” Yeah! We didn\u2019t do lemon \u2019cause you can add your own lemon to tea any time you want, but how do you make peach tea or blueberry? How do you do that? It takes professionals like us and our food scientists. We have food scientists! We own the recipes. It\u2019s secret stuff. I tell you, you unscrew the top of the bottle of the blueberry iced tea and you get that aroma? You think you are smelling blueberry muffin batter with the hint of tea. And when you taste it, taste the blueberry, of course, but it doesn\u2019t camouflage or mask or cover up the tea, either. It\u2019s a really good mixture.
