CALLER: Yes, I was. I\u2019m sure your mom and dad are smiling down upon you and your family yesterday. My wife tipped me off onto what was going on, and so I went across the street and happened to be near Representative Tilley\u2019s office when you walked out of the office and into the elevator, down to the garage floor. I was standing on the sidewalk waving as you left in the SUV.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, I wish I\u2019d-a known. I would have rolled down the window and waved. So your wife tipped you off. Your wife works in the capitol?<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, my wife works in Columbia, and she was listening to your St. Louis affiliate, and they had put out a little broadcast at the news break, so —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Oh, yeah, that\u2019s right. Because the Speaker withheld all news of it until one o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Central time. And then they lifted the lid, not only on the bust, but on the whole story.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I see. I was looking around for your bust out in the third floor rotunda but I didn\u2019t see it yet —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, it\u2019s not there yet. There\u2019s an internal battle being waged between the two parties in the state capitol as to whether it will be displayed in the rotunda.
