CALLER: Mega dittos from America\u2019s Heartland, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much, sir. Great to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. I\u2019ll be very quick because I know you got a lot of people in the queue. I couldn\u2019t agree with you more that Obama revealed his heart<\/a> when he made that statement about, you know, you are nothing without the collective.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: This whole idea of the individual versus the collective. But he\u2019s right about one thing. There is a collective out there without which every entrepreneur that Romney named in his speech today would not be successful, and that collective is the market. As defined by Adam Smith, it\u2019s the collective economic will of all the suppliers and producers and consumers, you know, that participate in the market. And that\u2019s the engine that drives that success. And if Obama had one logical thought, it would be to get the hell out of the way and let the market do its job.<\/p>\n

RUSH: He doesn\u2019t want the market to do its job.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I know. You know, you\u2019re absolutely right that he wants a permanent underclass.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Don\u2019t doubt me on that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t doubt you on that. A permanent underclass requires one other thing and that\u2019s a permanent class enemy, okay? And that\u2019s this whole campaign against the rich.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that is an excellent point. The underclass needs an enemy. And the enemy of the underclass is the achieved.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yep. Stalin did the same thing with the kulaks.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, you\u2019re talking about the word “collective.” I know what you\u2019re saying, but the problem is collective is a Marxist word. I\u2019m not really fond of it being attached to the market but I know the point that you\u2019re making. Obama doesn\u2019t use the word collective. It\u2019s just you who are educated and informed in these things know exactly what he means. The collective is all of us sacrificing our individuality. The collective is, we\u2019re the masses. We\u2019re the great unwashed. We are not the elites. We are the masses. We\u2019re the nameless, faceless people that comprise the collective, all working together, all equal in a wonderful, magnificent utopia. Of course, led, ruled, reigned over by “Barack Hussein Obama! Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!”<\/p>\n

CALLER: So I went up to Virginia this summer, and as I\u2019m listening to the radio, all these stations are talking about Obama saying we\u2019ve gotta have his back, we\u2019ve gotta have his back. Obama\u2019s campaign is counting on the ill-informed. And so it\u2019s not unusual for Hollywood to give free advertising to progressives. Bain is just a fortuitous name for them. Just like the most recent Spider-Man movie when Sally Field is standing in the kitchen, what\u2019s over her shoulder? A large union magnet on her refrigerator.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. In fact, Chuck Dixon, the creator, says, (paraphrasing) “I love all this. I just don\u2019t like Rush calling me a liberal, I\u2019m not a liberal,” but he says if this controversy makes \u2019em buy Batman <\/a>paraphernalia and movie tickets, that\u2019s fine. The Democrats clearly want people to go see this movie because they are hoping people make the connection to the evil villain Bane to the Bain Capital of Romney. No question. That\u2019s what we\u2019re up against. We have a struggle going on here, folks, between Romney\u2019s Bain Capital and Obama\u2019s Das Kapital. That\u2019s the nature of the struggle. We have the struggle, this election is a struggle between Romney\u2019s Bain Capital and Obama\u2019s Das Kapital.
