RUSH: So you think it hurt him more than it helped him?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, gosh. You know, Rush, now, we don\u2019t know, okay —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Wait a minute. <\/p>\n
CALLER: Wait. No, no, no, no. Please. Please. I\u2019m contexting this. I think you had a black man call you, conservative from California, fabulous call, and we also have to go back to the Mormons in California in 2008 with the black churches getting together to strike down Proposition 8. There is already a relationship between Mormons and black Christian ministers getting together for the culture to do what\u2019s right. And Obama has ignored this. And team Obama, up in Chicago — hi, guys — you\u2019re blowing it. I don\u2019t think you can do anything different at this point —<\/p>\n
RUSH: You called saying his fundraising is down. And so if Rahm Emanuel is doing what he\u2019s doing, and the mayor of Boston, Menino, is doing what he\u2019s doing with Chick-Fil-A and gay marriage, it isn\u2019t working. We had the report that Romney\u2019s super PAC is running rings around Obama. I\u2019ll tell you, I\u2019ve seen so many conflicting stories on the fundraising. I\u2019ve seen it both ways. I\u2019ve seen that Obama\u2019s way behind. I\u2019ve seen he\u2019s spending more than he\u2019s taking in. Then I\u2019ve had people say, “Rush, don\u2019t believe that garbage. Obama\u2019s not gonna be outraised by Romney. That\u2019s just stuff that they\u2019re putting out. Obama\u2019s trying to make himself out to be Mr. Poor Man, Mr. Poor Old Guy, Mr. Average Middle Class Guy the rich don\u2019t want to support anymore, and so don\u2019t buy into this notion that Romney\u2019s outraising Obama.” <\/p>\n

<\/a>On the super PAC side, I think it is true that Romney\u2019s ahead of Obama. And Obama, by the way, is raising money off of his birthday now, folks. We have spies here who have signed up at all the various Obama websites, the Democratic National Committee websites. This is a standard Democrat tactic, to poor-mouth: “Oh, woe is me, oh, poor me.” And Obama\u2019s got a fundraising letter saying that it\u2019s his birthday next week, and it may be the last birthday he ever spends in the White House, but that\u2019s up to you, \u2019cause you have to send him money. <\/p>\n
