Ronnie, I\u2019m glad you called.  Welcome to the EIB Network.  Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I\u2019m glad I called, too, Rush.  Thank you very much for taking the call.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You bet.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I\u2019m calling to ask you a question, and I\u2019m gonna tell you why I\u2019m concerned about it.  Are you concerned that illegal <a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14764\">immigration <\/a>has been treated like it don\u2019t even exist at the <a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14727\">Republican National Convention<\/a>?  I don\u2019t think a single speaker has addressed what a Republican administration would do about illegal immigration and any solid leadership or answers.  And I think that the &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  One correction.  <a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14715\">Nikki Haley<\/a>, and we\u2019ve got her sound bites, I finally got these, she did, two nights ago, made a big deal about it.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NtyUK6mTzQM\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Oh, well, then I apologize.  I missed that.  My point is that you can bet that the majority of speakers at the Democratic National Convention are going to address it directly.  And I don\u2019t think you can talk about getting people back at work while ignoring the enormous drag that all of these illegals have on the economy or being too afraid to point out that through executive fiat President Obama just flooded our already starving work market with two million more people that they now have to compete with for work.  And I don\u2019t understand why it\u2019s so hard to just speak to a winning issue that the mythical moderates &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Let me explain it to you in the dwindling time.  A, they\u2019re not bringing it up because it will generate charges of <a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14741\">racism,<\/a> which they don\u2019t want, which they\u2019re already dealing with.  Number two, they figure that the base to whom this matters the most is gonna vote against Obama anyway, so they are taking the path of least resistance.  It\u2019s a subject they think they can get away without mentioning.  They do not believe that people like you, Ronnie, will decide not to vote because of this.  That\u2019s my wild guess on their thinking.  We\u2019ll have to wait and see.  But you\u2019re not the first person to mention this to me.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_66358\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/RubioRomney_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH:  Hey, Ronnie in Boston, one thing, Marco Rubio speaks tonight, and I don\u2019t know for a fact, but I would be shocked if Marco Rubio does not talk about immigration.  He talks about it everywhere he goes.  It\u2019s a signature issue.  I think you can look forward to Marco Rubio talking about it brilliantly, by the way, during his speech tonight.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It was just pointed out to me and it\u2019s a good point. We had a guy in the last half hour from Boston, Ronnie, upset that illegal immigration not being talked about at the convention.  It\u2019s a big issue.  It\u2019s a big deal.  It relates to the economy, relates to unemployment, why aren\u2019t the Republicans talking about it?  I answered him.  I said Rubio tonight will, the odds are.  It\u2019s a signature issue for Marco Rubio, and he speaks about it intelligently and passionately.  So I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if you do hear about it tonight, but beyond that, if you pay attention to these speeches, every speaker is talking about this being a land of immigrants, and they\u2019re talking about how it works, the right way.  Every one of these speakers talks about having come here or their parents having come here because they wanted to be Americans. They wanted to be part of this country. They wanted to be part of the American experience. <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_66359\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Rubio083012.jpg\"\/><BR\/>So in an indirect way, proper immigration is being discussed.  I\u2019m not trying to give anybody a pass here, but in a way it is being talked about.  Every one of these speakers is mentioning it one way or the other in a positive way, as it should happen, as immigration should happen, which, of course, the primary characteristic of proper immigration\u2019s assimilation.
