It\u2019s good to be here.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You bet, sir.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Rush, I want to share an observation with you, and I\u2019d like to get your insight after you tell you what I need to say. Okay?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m a truck driver, and I kind of have traveled from coast to coast, border to border, all around the United States the last two or three years. I\u2019m primarily cruising around the New England states now, and I made an observation that people are getting sick and tired of the political banter all around.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, wait. Did you say your primary routes take you to New England?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s great news, then.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Why is that?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Who\u2019s in New England? A bunch of liberals! So that\u2019s what we want. We want a bunch of liberals fed up, dispirited, uninspired. That\u2019s great news! That\u2019s a great report out there, Lee.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pZipUINVXIc\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckles) I was at my distribution center, and, of course, there\u2019s talk. You know, they\u2019re showing <a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14722\">Paul Ryan\u2019s speech <\/a>there on the TV accepting the vice president[ial nomination], and the next thing I know, three or four of the people inside the break room say, &#8220;I\u2019m tired of watching this,&#8221; and they turned the channel to House Hunters.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, where, again, was this? Where\u2019s the distribution center?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It\u2019s in Lewiston. It\u2019s in Lewiston, Maine.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It\u2019s where?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Lewiston, Maine.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Lewiston, Maine. Fine! Perfect! By the way, if your senator was Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe, you\u2019d be fed up, too.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah, well, my senator was Olympia Snowe, and I actually haven\u2019t been that impressed with her for the last, oh, two elections. I actually voted against her.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Let me treat this seriously. I do think this&#8230; Geographically, you\u2019re talking about a primarily liberal area of the country. If they\u2019re fed up with it, all that means is they are not inspired by Obama. They may not like Republicans, but fine. That\u2019s normal. But if they\u2019re fed up with &#8220;politics,&#8221; it just means they think they\u2019re losing. It means that they\u2019re not winning. There may be some of them that are just tired.<\/p>\n<p>They can\u2019t get away from it, and the constant grind. But I\u2019ll tell you: There are always people that way, and I actually think that there are more people paying attention now than usually are. And it\u2019s evidenced by the polling data on Obamacare alone. Obama and his gang has been counting on the fact that people aren\u2019t paying attention, and I think the polling data argues against that.<\/p>\n<p>But whatever. Traditionally this is when people start paying attention: when the<a view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14727\"> conventions<\/a> start and after Labor Day. You call me back in a couple of weeks or a month and tell me what you\u2019re finding and then we\u2019ll have a better feel for it, but I\u2019m serious. If you\u2019re running into this kind of attitude in liberal hotbeds? Ha-ha-ha! Ho! Right on, mama! Right on!
