<\/p>\nRUSH: It\u2019s the big 9\/11 memorial day today. A very serious and somber day for millions of Americans. I was trying to figure out why our good friends (a-hem) at MSNBC and all the other cable channels have been commemorating the 9\/11 anniversary so heavily. This is the first time really they\u2019ve been commemorating it in a positive way; 9\/11 has always been, for them, a vehicle for subtly attacking George W. Bush. And then it hit me. It hit me why they\u2019re making a big deal out of 9\/11. Because Obama killed Osama. That\u2019s it. It\u2019s that simple. That\u2019s why they\u2019re doing it. Not only are we hearing about how Obama killed bin Laden, but we\u2019re being told that Bush blew it big time. <\/p>\n

I am convinced — it didn\u2019t take much either — the Democrats are running as much against Bush as they are Romney. In fact, they\u2019re trying to portray Romney as Bush III. McCain was Bush Jr. Romney is Bush III. The New York Times today has a piece excoriating Bush about 9\/11 because of that daily intelligence brief on August 6th that they want us to believe he ignored. If he had not ignored it we would have known bin Laden was coming. Nowhere do we read that Bill Clinton was offered bin Laden three times on a silver platter. Nowhere do we read — you have to find it in the Daily Caller, Chatsworth Osborne Jr.\u2019s website, Obama is not even attending half of his intelligence briefs. He\u2019s playing golf. I don\u2019t know when the guy works. <\/p>\n
George W. Bush attended the intelligence briefing every day. Obama has not even attended half of them. He sends surrogates. That to me is significant. But they\u2019ve got this piece in the New York Times, and there\u2019s a big piece in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair excoriating Bush. Bush is the reason 9\/11 happened. Bush ignored that presidential daily brief on August 6th. All I know is that we were told for years that we\u2019re not supposed to politicize 9\/11. And here is the Drive-By Media doing a bang-up job of politicizing 9\/11. It\u2019s really odd how we seldom, if ever, hear about Bill Clinton and his three chances at bin Laden. He passed every time. Passed on them every time. But there\u2019s no sense going into ancient history. We should only go back 11 years at most. That\u2019s when the left wants you to believe the war on terror started, 9\/11. And, of course, it predates that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
