Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yes, sir.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: With regard to the attacks on Romney and this idea that it\u2019s taboo to criticize a president during a time of crisis? Well, this might be true like during a natural disaster, but what if the crisis of a direct result of your foreign policy?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Exactly!<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: What is a campaign for?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: The Obama &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Since when is incompetence protected by a campaign, of all things?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/t33YYFBO39o\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yeah. Obama has famously praised the Arab Spring, was an integral part of the removal of Mubarak and Khadafy. And now with the Muslim Brotherhood in charge, we see attacks on the embassies of two countries that Obama helped &#8220;liberate&#8221; on the anniversary of 9\/11. How embarrassing and incompetent does the Obama administration appear when they apologize to the Muslims yesterday, then strongly condemn them today?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Thanks for the call, Rich, I appreciate it. Your point is well taken.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, speaking of all this: A Chicago teachers union official marching on a protest line yesterday said, &#8220;This is our Arab Spring.&#8221; She said that in an interview with the Reverend Sharpton on his radio show. &#8220;This is our Arab Spring. This is not just confined to Chicago,&#8221; said this teacher. Here\u2019s the transcript. Al Sharpton: &#8220;Tell us why the Chicago Teacher\u2019s Union have (sic) called a strike, the first time in 25 years?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Teachers union official: &#8220;It\u2019s about educational justice. We are in a time nationally where our students &#8212; black and brown students, to be very clear &#8212; are under the pressure of privatizers who want to collect off of the pathology that plagues our communities. That\u2019s what\u2019s going on here in Chicago.&#8221; What does that mean? Does somebody want to translate this for me?<\/p>\n<p>The teachers union official with Reverend Al said, &#8220;We are in a time nationally where our students &#8212; black and brown students, to be very clear &#8212; are under the pressure of privatizers who want to collect off of the pathology that plagues our communities.&#8221; (interruption) Well, I understand that she\u2019s worried about private schools taking over because they\u2019re better, but what the hell does &#8220;collect off of the pathology that plagues our community&#8221; mean? What the hell&#8230;? (interruption) That\u2019s what that means?<\/p>\n<p>Our kids are illiterate, our kids are uneducated, and we don\u2019t want any privatizers coming in and taking advantage of that or trying to fix it? We don\u2019t want anybody trying to fix the schools. Just because we can\u2019t teach, we don\u2019t want any privatizers come in here trying to fix it. That\u2019s what &#8220;the pathology that plagues our community&#8221; means? So it\u2019s our job to keep our students illiterate and uneducated and we\u2019re not gonna have any privatizers come in here and fixing that. We\u2019re gonna keep it that way.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what that means?<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve got to be kidding me? (interruption) Sharpton said that he kind of agreed with her there, but what would resolve the matter now? She said, &#8220;Well, you know what\u00c2\u2019s interesting Reverend Al, is that this is sort of like an Arab Spring here in Chicago right now. Currently, there are five locals, AFT [American Federation of Teachers] locals, who are experiencing similar issues here. Eleven NEA locals have filed intent to strike within the last year.
