RUSH: I want you to listen to something. This is on the Today Show this morning, correspondent Ann Curry. Ann Curry, is she back? Hm-hm. Oh, must be on special assignment or some such thing. Ann Curry is talking to the Libyan president, Mohammed Magarief, and she said, “What is your evidence –” See, here\u2019s the thing. Obama and his administration, everybody in it, Jay Carney and the media supporting him, have lied to us for over a week<\/a> about what led to the death of our ambassador in Libya. They have lied repeatedly over and over, and they continue to. They continue to lie about this movie. In fact, folks, I\u2019m gonna tell you something. Barack Obama is a serial liar, and I think it\u2019s time to call him out on this. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You know, this “nice guy” stuff and playing it close to the vest is one thing. But some things actually need to be said here, truthful, hard-hitting things, and I\u2019m the one to say them, and today\u2019s gonna be the day. So sit tight, hang in there, and be tough. They have lied to us for a week about this video. Obama went to the UN yesterday <\/a>and made most of his speech or quite a large part of his speech about this video, which even now nobody has ever seen. All they\u2019re doing is promoting it. All they\u2019re doing is giving others who want to be agitated by it an excuse it be. <\/p>\n

So Ann Curry is talking to the president of Libya today, Mohammed Magarief, and she said, “What is your evidence that it was a preplanned act of terrorism?” This guy\u2019s out there saying it wasn\u2019t the video, so here comes Ann Curry, representing the media, (imitating Curry) “What do you mean? We\u2019ve been told it\u2019s a video. Our president said it\u2019s a video. Who are you? You\u2019re just the Libyan president. What evidence do you have?” That\u2019s what she said, that was her question, “What is your evidence that it was a preplanned act of terrorism?”<\/p>\n

MAGARIEF: Number one, is choosing the date, 11th of September, has all the significance. If we take the facts about the way it was executed, there is enough proof that it is a preplanned act of terrorism.<\/p>\n

CURRY: This was a preplanned attack, not a reaction to a controversial movie?<\/p>\n

MAGARIEF: Yes. I have no doubt about this.<\/p>\n

CURRY: Do you think the movie had anything to do with this attack on the consulate?<\/p>\n

MAGARIEF: It has nothing to do with this attack.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There you have it, the Libyan president, nothing to do with it. Were you all able to hear that? It sounded odd to me. Good, everybody heard it. You get the narrative here. (imitating Curry) “Well, now, wait a minute, Mr. Libyan president, we\u2019ve been told by our beloved president<\/a>, The One, that it was a video that led to the rioting.” By the way, we\u2019ve known before today that other sources have come out and made it clear, even the diary of the deceased ambassador makes it clear, that he knew that an attack was imminent and it all had to do with 9\/11. And if it had to do with anything besides 9\/11, it had to do with Obama taunting these people about Osama Bin Laden being dead because he\u2019d killed him. <\/a><\/p>\n

So the narrative is that this video did it. Some conservative Christian video led to all this, including the death of our ambassador. Here comes a Libyan president, and she says, “Well, what evidence do you have?” So he answers her, and she says, “You mean it was preplanned? Nothing to do with the movie?” <\/p>\n

“It has nothing to do with the attack.” <\/p>\n

There you have it, folks. Barack Obama, his enablers in the media<\/a>, members of his administration, have lied to us for over a week about this, and they continue to. You might say, “Well, why?” Folks, I\u2019m not a liar. I can\u2019t explain them. It\u2019s pathological. It\u2019s the same as trying to explain Bill Clinton. These people construct with all of their lies an actual reality they live in. I think they tell the lie so often, I mean, it\u2019s the definition of a pathological liar, you believe the lies that you tell. It is a sickness, and this is just latest illustration of Obama as a serial liar. Look, you and I know this. But I think it\u2019s time to call him out and say exactly that. He went on 60 Minutes. He blamed Bush for the debt. The fact is that Obama is responsible for $5.5 trillion in debt, in just four years. Bush had nothing to do with it. That doesn\u2019t even count what\u2019s coming with Obamacare. <\/p>\n

I\u2019m not denying that Bush was a big spender, but the debt that we\u2019ve got now, $5.5 trillion of it took place in the last 3-1\/2 years, with Obama at the helm. It\u2019s his. He owns it. He broke it; he owns it. And that doesn\u2019t count what\u2019s coming with Obamacare and all the Taxmageddon stuff coming with the expiration of the Bush tax cuts. Imagine interest rates when they begin to increase. And one-third of the federal budget is chewed up paying interest on this debt. Wait \u2019til that happens. Folks, we\u2019re headed for an economic collapse if something doesn\u2019t change. It\u2019s difficult to pinpoint when, but it\u2019s going to happen. This is unsustainable. This kind of spending and this kind of debt and the debt service cannot continue and at the same time have a thriving and growing private sector economy. <\/p>\n

Now, Obama gets away with these statements, which come fast and frequently. But there\u2019s something not right about this. These lies just flow out of his mouth and off of his lips as naturally as a baby\u2019s cries. Now, I don\u2019t know, as I say, I\u2019m not an expert. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s purposeful, if he\u2019s delusional, or if it\u2019s strategic. It could be a combination of those things. He\u2019s running commercials in battleground states claiming that Romney\u2019s tax plan would increase taxes on the middle class by $2,000. There\u2019s not a single thing in Romney\u2019s tax plan that raises taxes on the middle class, period. Romney cuts middle class taxes by 20%. He doesn\u2019t raise taxes on anybody. It\u2019s Obama who\u2019s going to be raising taxes. Obama, in effect what he\u2019s doing, is taking what his policies are going to be, his future policies and what his policies have been, and he\u2019s simply saying that they\u2019re Romney\u2019s. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an artful attempt at transference. Take what you\u2019re doing and take what you\u2019ve done, and blame it on the other guys, as though you haven\u2019t even been president for 3-1\/2 years and you\u2019ve got a supportive media out there helping to spread the lies. Obama\u2019s using a report that has been conducted by a group where some of his supporters work. They claim that Romney\u2019s tax cuts would result in cuts in services when in fact one has nothing to do with the other. Romney hasn\u2019t proposed any tax increases on people, and now they\u2019re saying he\u2019s gonna increase taxes on the middle class, he\u2019s gonna cut taxes on the rich. Right. And then these tax cuts are gonna result in a cut in services. How does cutting somebody\u2019s taxes result in a cut in government services? <\/p>\n

“Mr. Limbaugh, that\u2019s because there\u2019s less money going to the government.” Do you understand, Mr. New Castrati, that there isn\u2019t money going to the government? We\u2019re $5.5 trillion in debt under Obama and growing. We have a national debt of $16 trillion. We are out of control. This is utterly irresponsible. This set of policies that\u2019s taken us here shows absolutely no respect for this country. No respect for the people of this country. No respect for this country\u2019s greatness or its past.<\/p>\n

And certainly no respect for this country\u2019s future. The architect of all this is Barack Obama and his buddies in the Democrat Party. They have all this dumped on Romney… Look, I know some of you people are not excited about Romney. But let me tell you something. There is a shift, by the way, in Romney\u2019s campaign and in his strategy. He\u2019s going ideological. He started off yesterday or today in Ohio. But he\u2019s doing it. It\u2019s better late than never. He needs to do it. He needs to go ideological.<\/p>\n

The “Obama Nice Guy” narrative is gone. They\u2019ve tossed it overboard. But the bottom line, folks, is I don\u2019t care who you are. If you are a gay one-armed amputee on the Upper West Side having coffee at Zabar\u2019s right now, there\u2019s not one thing Mitt Romney\u2019s done to you yet. And there\u2019s not one thing Mitt Romney plans on doing to you. But whatever your economic circumstance is, Mitt Romney has had nothing to do with it. Zilch, zero, nada.<\/p>\n

Everything that you live today is traceable right back to the Oval Office, right back to the White House. Every bit of this is Barack Obama. He\u2019s out there… People here on the other side of the glass are nervous that I called him a serial liar. Okay, forget that. Not serial liar. We\u2019ll go with “delusional.” Does that make you feel better? He\u2019s delusional. Obama says he created 4.5 million jobs. Now, to arrive at that figure, 4.5 million jobs… It\u2019s absurd! The math doesn\u2019t work out.<\/p>\n

There aren\u2019t any jobs being created on a net basis. We\u2019re losing jobs. There are more people unemployed today than there were when Obama took office. There are over 2.5 million fewer jobs to be had in this country since Obama took office! This idea that there\u2019s job growth, that Obama has created jobs? He wouldn\u2019t know how to create a job if he had to. He wouldn\u2019t know how to get a job if he had to. To come to this figure of 4.5 million jobs created you have to ignore all the people who\u2019ve lost their jobs.<\/p>\n

You have to ignore all the people who have dropped out of the workforce. The net figure, when everything is factored in (the best I\u2019ve been able to find), is 1.3 million jobs lost. There\u2019s a universe of over two million jobs that have just gone away. Not jobs that were filled. Just the jobs from the universe of jobs, the labor force participation rate. It\u2019s down by two million. It\u2019s even worse when you consider that in four years, the working population of the country has increased by eight million or so.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

We continue to graduate kids from college. We can argue about whether their degrees are worth anything, but they still graduate. We still have people coming out of high school who, theoretically, still want to go get jobs. We\u2019re still producing people who want to work, in the midst of an economic decline that (outside of the Great Depression) is unprecedented. And it has been authored! It is the direct result of specific policies implemented by Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s his!<\/p>\n

His fingerprints are all over this decline, all over this failure.<\/p>\n

You consider that in four years the working population of this nation has increased by about eight million. That\u2019s the number of people who want to work since Obama was elected. Male participation in the workforce is the lowest it has been since 1948. Obama\u2019s out there claiming that he created 4.5 million jobs. Obama hasn\u2019t created anything. What\u2019s happened is destruction. What has happened is a chipping away of the greatest economic engine the world has ever known.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the net result of 3-1\/2<\/a>, almost four years of Barack Obama. Not job creation, not economic growth, not increased opportunity, not increased prosperity. There\u2019s none of that. None of that\u2019s on the horizon. That\u2019s why so many millions of Americans are literally fearful, literally scared of the future. And not just for them, but for their kids. These eight million people, they\u2019re somebody\u2019s kids! They\u2019re somebody\u2019s kids that are just entering the workforce.<\/p>\n

Eight million of them are out there, and there\u2019s nowhere for \u2019em to go.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The jobs aren\u2019t there. (Obama impression) “But I created 4.5 million jobs since I took office. You didn\u2019t build that! You didn\u2019t make that happen.” And while all this is going on, what\u2019s the big deal for Obama? Obama\u2019s out there claiming that he will ensure that the women of America have access to contraceptives. As though they don\u2019t now! As though Mitt Romney is standing at every Walgreens and preventing any woman that walks in from finding the birth control counter.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the picture he wants you to have. No matter what store you go into — Walgreens, Walmart, CVS — there\u2019s gonna be Mitt Romney hoarding the birth control pills so that you can\u2019t have \u2019em. Why? Because Mitt Romney wants you pregnant, barefoot, in the kitchen, rubbing your husband\u2019s back, massaging his feet while he\u2019s drinking beer or whatever and beating you up. Sadly, a significant portion of the female population of this country seems to react to that.<\/p>\n

So here is our wonderful leader, Barack Obama, claiming that he will make sure that women have access to contraceptives. Is there a woman in America who wants contraceptives who cannot get them? Is there a woman in America who wants to have a birth control pill or who wants to have an abortion who can\u2019t? Does anybody with half a brain in this country think that a change in administration will somehow affect access to birth control pills? Apparently some do!<\/p>\n

This is why we wonder if we\u2019ve lost the country. But apparently there are some people, there are some women, who actually believe that if there is a new president and it\u2019s Mitt Romney, that somehow birth control pills will not be able to be found. Were contraceptives denied during the eight years of the Bush administration? How about the first Bush administration? How about Reagan? Were contraception birth control pills denied? No way. (chuckles) It\u2019s just the exact opposite.<\/p>\n

They practically give \u2019em away, along with Viagra.<\/p>\n
