You know, I got two monitors on in here. I have Fox on one. I used to have MSNBC up there, but that\u2019s willing insanity, so I put CNN on. It\u2019s not nearly as bad. It\u2019s still challenging. The other day I\u2019m watching Megyn Kelly. Her show is on same time this is, and I know Megyn and her husband. Her husband\u2019s name is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.douglasbrunt.com\/\">Doug Brunt<\/a>. Doug\u2019s a CEO of an Internet security firm, and she\u2019s interviewing Doug. She\u2019s interviewing her husband.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1451672594?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1451672594\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/RushBookDouglasBrunt.jpg\"\/><\/a>So I got on the IFB and I said, &#8220;Snerdley, that\u2019s Megyn\u2019s husband,&#8221; and I couldn\u2019t hear it. I\u2019m reading the closed-captioning. But then I saw a graphic go up. He\u2019s written a book. I guess he\u2019s had this long-held desire to be a novelist. So she\u2019s interviewing him about his book. So I wonder: What is this about? The title of his book is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1451672594?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1451672594\">Ghosts of Manhattan<\/a>. I bought it last night on the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/book\/ghosts-of-manhattan\/id494047157?mt=11\">Apple iBooks Store<\/a>, and it\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B006VHHPCW?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=theofficiw0c2-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B006VHHPCW\">also available in the Kindle store<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, if you go buy it, there\u2019s another book by some other guy of a similar title. The book I\u2019m talking about, Ghosts of Manhattan, is a basically blue cover and the author is Doug Brunt. You know what it\u2019s about? It\u2019s supposedly fictional. (chuckling) It\u2019s a supposedly fictional account of a Wall Street bond trader in the days leading up to the collapse. I started reading it last night, and I was really intrigued by it. In just the first 75 pages: sex, drugs, hookers, money.<\/p>\n<p>Doug has loaded the thing up. I don\u2019t know. I was a little surprised. I had no idea what to expect. It\u2019s his first book. It\u2019s really good. I haven\u2019t finished the thing, but I thought, &#8220;I\u2019m gonna mention it because I know it\u2019s been a passion of his to write a book.&#8221; It\u2019s one of these things. You know how many authors there are, frustrated authors that really want to do that? But there\u2019s no money in it if you don\u2019t hit, and you have to have some other job that you do.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/Megyn-Kelly-husband-620x349_large.jpg\"\/><BR\/>Well, he finally just took the plunge, did the book, and I don\u2019t know what he\u2019s doing with his Internet company. But it\u2019s entertaining. It really is. And, by the way, when I say &#8220;sex, drugs, hookers,&#8221; it\u2019s not porn. It\u2019s not X-rated or any of that stuff. It\u2019s just a fictional account of what goes on on Wall Street. This guy sells corporate bonds. The lead character sells corporate bonds and he makes a lot of money but he\u2019s bored silly. He doesn\u2019t take a lot of work.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s got a little guilt that he got the job simply because he knew the right people in college. He\u2019s got a marriage that\u2019s fake and phony and so forth. I don\u2019t know where it\u2019s going, but I\u2019m sure it\u2019s got something to do with the collapse because that\u2019s alluded to. It\u2019s instructional in that sense, too, in the fact of what the banks were doing, what they were forced to do, and the leverage they were engaged in. So it\u2019s really good.<\/p>\n<p>For a first book, I was impressed.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s Ghosts of Manhattan, by Douglas Brunt, B-r-u-n-t.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s Megyn Kelly\u2019s husband.<\/p>\n<p>So I wish him good luck on it.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: No, Snerdley, it\u2019s not about the Secret Service.
