He wanted to know about jobs, what\u2019s happening with jobs. He didn\u2019t get his question answered, but Obama started off by saying he wants to bring back manufacturing jobs. It\u2019s a college student. He\u2019s not in college to work in a factory.<\/p>\n<p>Here is Crystal, Space Coast, Florida. It\u2019s great to have you on the program. Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Great to speak with you, Rush. Oh, my goodness. I\u2019m glad I waited. I just wanted to know&#8230; I remember in February 2009 there was an interview that Obama was involved with, and he said something. I don\u2019t remember the exact quote, but I remember these words: &#8220;If I don\u2019t have this done in three years, then this is going to be a one-term proposition.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s right. He did say that.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_68355\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaNopeDebate2012.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: So why in the world is this not a bigger, you know, quote going around? Maybe Romney and Ryan can talk on this and elaborate a little bit more and talk about it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, because nobody believed that he meant he was gonna quit.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Mmm.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: What he really meant was he\u2019d be a one-term president. He meant he\u2019ll probably be defeated, but nobody thought he meant he\u2019d roll over and die. That\u2019s not a statement that you really try to stick to somebody. I understand why you think it might be effective in an ad just to have Obama saying that even he admitted that if he didn\u2019t get it turned around, he doesn\u2019t deserve a second term. They could rephrase it that way.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: But believe me, he wants to win his second term.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, who wouldn\u2019t want to keep that house? (giggles)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Oh, and the airplane! Don\u2019t forget the airplane.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hell, yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: And don\u2019t forget the parties.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Oh, absolutely.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: These people, the Obamas are spending more money than they are budgeted for entertainment, travel, all that kind of stuff. They dig it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, he did come here to speak to us, those of us who worked for the Space Center, and I remember his words then, too. &#8220;We will save jobs.&#8221; And here we are, you know, laid off.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah, right. (laughing) How was he gonna save jobs at NASA?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Exactly. Exactly.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: When he turns it over to &#8220;Muslim outreach&#8221;? Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hey, Rush, thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IjVABCcAgYY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hey, listen, I think what transpired last night regarding<a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14241\"> Benghazi\u2019s question <\/a>is actually a huge silver-platter campaign gift for Romney. You know, last night the dreams of the Obama White House for burying the Benghazi story became their worst nightmare. Benghazi is gonna be the lead story for the rest of the week. It\u2019s gonna be the lead story on every Sunday morning show. And during Monday night\u2019s foreign policy debate, Mitt Romney\u2019s gonna unwrap that gift and he\u2019s gonna use Benghazi\u2019s tragic failure and cover-up to sum up Obama\u2019s entire foreign policy.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: It is an excellent point. I asked earlier&#8230; Because all the media &#8212; and even people on our side, folks. That montage that I played you mere moments ago, there are a lot of Fox people on that thing. There are a lot of conservative commentators saying, &#8220;Oh, yeah, Obama won it. Yeah, Obama won. Yeah, Barack is back,&#8221; and so forth. <a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14243\">I don\u2019t understand this. If Romney lost and Obama won this, then why all the talk today about Libya and how Obama gave a false answer on it?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And how Crowley made a fool of herself and how she had to walk it back? She\u2019s saying, &#8220;Yeah, Romney was right in the main. He just used the wrong word,&#8221; whatever that is. See, this is another thing. I don\u2019t understand liberalspeak or inside-the-Beltway speak. Everybody says Obama won, but all anybody\u2019s talking about today is this goof and his lie on Benghazi. You\u2019re right. They have tried to cover this up. It\u2019s all been a cover-up.<\/p>\n<p>They didn\u2019t want to use the word &#8220;terrorism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Do you recall not long after Obama was immaculated the official word came down, and it might have been from the State Department, that &#8220;terrorism&#8221; would no longer be permitted in the official government lexicon, or &#8220;terrorist&#8221; would not be? They had some other name that they were gonna use. But &#8220;terrorism&#8221; was not permitted in official government lexicon, and in this case it wasn\u2019t allowed to be a &#8220;terror attack&#8221; because Obama was running around claiming he\u2019d just taken out Al-Qaeda.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_68368\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaHillaryMuslimProtests.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>So you\u2019re right. It is. It\u2019s a gift on a silver platter.<\/p>\n<p>I guess it\u2019s our version of the <a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14266\">47% comment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Isaac, Cincinnati. I\u2019ll try to make it brief. I have a very important intelligence question that I think you can adequately explain. That\u2019s why I\u2019m calling you to ask you. May I first throw in a very quick sidebar about last night\u2019s debate?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Go right ahead.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Thank you. All that I think last night\u2019s debate did was&#8230; Uh, the people in the media, the experts, they don\u2019t realize the obvious simple things that you and everyday Americans recognize, that a picture is worth more than 10,000 words. And Obama\u2019s facial expressions &#8212; agitated, mean, nasty-looking at times &#8212; showed undecided voters that he is virtually impossible to reason or do business with. That\u2019s what it told me.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, did he look arrogant to you?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER. Ummm.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Or full of himself like he thinks he\u2019s God\u2019s gift? Allah\u2019s gift, whatever?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Agitated, I would say. I think agitated.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: He never had anyone confront him.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, that\u2019s very true.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I only wish Romney had not turned his back.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Isaac, hang on. We got a break here. Don\u2019t go away.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Don\u2019t hang up the phone.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay, Isaac, we\u2019re back with you in Cincinnati, and I appreciate your holding on through the break.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Well, thank you, Rush. I appreciate it. Do you still want me to ask you the question on intelligence? Your call screener was&#8230; He did mention to me during the break Isaac, please get to the point. Do you want me to ask you the question?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Am I taking too much of your time?<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Well, no, that\u2019s really not necessary.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I mean if you want to take a couple of breaths or something before you get your question.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: It\u2019s important to lead into it. I\u2019m going to give you the question. One quick point. Eisenhower warned this of us 60 years ago. He said in his book that he never told the American people because he thought it would sound too racist. He said, Americans falsely assume that people in other parts of the world think the same way as we do, and they don\u2019t. Ike was a five-star general, Supreme Allied Commander, and he knew what he was talking about. In his eight years, not one service member in the world was killed, not one inch of territory was lost to the communists.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_68369\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/RushFlagEIB585.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Do you know why Eisenhower was a great president?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I\u2019m sure you could tell me more.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: I\u2019ll tell you exactly why. Because when he figured out he couldn\u2019t shoot Congress like he could the Germans, he just said, &#8220;To hell with it,&#8221; and went and played golf. He joined Augusta National, played golf there, played golf out in Palm Springs, and let the country go. It was great. It was cool. He had this magnificent aura of leadership that inspired confidence just by his presence.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Exactly. My question is this for you, Rush.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: So what\u2019s the intel question?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Okay, this is it. Now, the Obama administration, the president and the vice president, have repeatedly said &#8212; <a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14284\">Biden said four times during the debate &#8212; it\u2019s not our fault. <\/a>We got faulty intelligence on Benghazi. It\u2019s not our fault. I know Biden said that at least four times in the debate. If that\u2019s true&#8230; You know, hey, it was just false intelligence, it\u2019s not our fault. But 30 minutes later in the vice presidential debate, Vice President Joe Bite Me would swear on a stack of Bibles and his grandchildren that Iran doesn\u2019t have a nuclear delivery capability. They\u2019re at least four or five years away from it.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: That\u2019s exactly right. He said (impression), &#8220;They don\u2019t have a missile. They don\u2019t have a missile. They nowhere near being able to deliver a nuclear bomb!<a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14444\"> Bibi talked about it. <\/a>Barack talked to Bibi for an hour and a half. There was a conference call! I was on it. I heard it.&#8221; During that whole debate, everybody watching the debate said, &#8220;Have you ever heard of a suitcase, Mr. Vice President?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Have you ever heard of the underwear bomber or the guy in Times Square? They don\u2019t need a missile!&#8221; But your point is, if the intel was bad and we didn\u2019t know about Benghazi<a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14311\"> because he blames the intel<\/a>, then how come he trusts the intel on Iran? It\u2019s a good question. And by it same token, remember the weapons of mass destruction? Well, the reason that we all believed it is \u2019cause the intelligence agencies &#8212; CIA, MI5, every intel agency that we are allied with around the world &#8212; assured everybody that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t just us. It wasn\u2019t just our intel agencies. It was all over the world. And, of course, back then, Bush was an idiot, and Cheney was an idiot for believing the intel. And back then, Bush and Cheney were probably telling the intel people what to say. Back then, Bush and Cheney &#8212; these evil guys, these warmongers &#8212; they were corrupting the intel. But now, of course (Biden impression), &#8220;Barack and me, Barack and me, we have total, total confidence and faith the intel agencies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They didn\u2019t tell us about what\u2019s going on in Benghazi. They got that wrong, but we love \u2019em! We tell \u2019em we love \u2019em every day. We tell \u2019em they\u2019re the best the intel in the world, but they blew this. They blew this! Ryan doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s talking about.&#8221; It\u2019s a great question. It\u2019s selective application of whatever they need to make their case or to make their excuse. They are permitted to do this.<\/p>\n<p>If they want to blame intel, they get away with it. The media lets them. If intel is right on the money about Iran, that\u2019s the story because they get to say whatever they want to say. They get to lie, is the point. But they don\u2019t get away with it in these debates. They do not get away with it. There\u2019s no cover. Candy Crowley tried, and it\u2019s come back to bite them, and it\u2019s gonna come back to bite \u2019em in the next debate. No question about it.<\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s Tom in Harris, Missouri. I\u2019m glad you waited. I appreciate your patience. Hi.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Hi, Rush. Yeah, I\u2019ve been listening to you since 1986, and I\u2019m gonna make this short and sweet. Last night that lady asked a question about what Obama was gonna do about AK-47s.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Obama answered the question and said he wants to reinstitute the assault gun ban and (garbled) wanted education. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14414\">Romney answered the question, and he mentioned Fast and Furious.<\/a> Now, the thought trail on there is that the answer to that woman\u2019s question was that he\u2019s gonna send 2500-plus guns to Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14414\"><img id=\"eZObject_68366\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaFastFurious.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CALLER: That\u2019s how I interpreted that, and that has not been discussed on the news, and I think it should be, because Obama sat back there &#8212; and I looked at him. He knew that he invoked executive privilege to cover up Eric Holder.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Which Romney mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  But you\u2019re making another point.  There were so many things that came up last night that Obama is vulnerable on, it\u2019s not possible for Romney to connect on all of them.  And yet people want to sit here and get mad at Romney for letting this go or that go or Benghazi go.  It\u2019s not possible.  This is why I maintain that you can\u2019t score these things in a vacuum and simply say Obama succeeded because he got away with a lie.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Exactly.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  An un-refuted lie, to my mind, is not a point in your favor.  A lie is a lie.  In a debate it\u2019s gonna hurt you.  And you can\u2019t dump on Romney for not catching \u2019em all because Obama, his whole four years they\u2019re trying to cover everything that\u2019s happened up with a lie.  Was it the AK-47 question where Romney also dovetailed into the importance of families and values and trying to reduce the cycle and culture of violence?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes, he did.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.  I thought that was a very comprehensive answer that he gave.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes, but I hope the people realized how bad Fast and Furious is.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  I don\u2019t know, outside this audience and some of the conservative blogs, I don\u2019t know, because they have covered it up. The mainstream media, as far as they\u2019re concerned, it never happened.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s true.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  It did not happen.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Other than Fox News, they haven\u2019t discussed it.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1G3yJTjDKz0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  That\u2019s right.  And to the extent that it\u2019s been discussed, Obama has gotten away with saying, (paraphrasing) &#8220;That wasn\u2019t ours. That was started under the Bush administration, and we saw parts of it that we liked and we got rid of stuff that wasn\u2019t working.&#8221;  And the media goes, &#8220;Way to cover for it, Barack, that\u2019s right,&#8221; and that\u2019s what they say.  All of it\u2019s lies.  All of it lies. <\/p>\n<p>But, Tom, let me tell you who didn\u2019t buy the lies, and that\u2019s the Univision audience.  And nobody is talking about this save for me and a woman named Molly Ball who wrote about it in The Atlantic.  Obama did that one-hour Univision appearance and they raked him over the coals, and that\u2019s a huge Hispanic audience. They raked him over the coals over his empty promise on immigration reform.  He hasn\u2019t done anything.  And Romney was right about that.  Obama hadn\u2019t filed anything, not proposed anything, nothing.  Fast and Furious, he was hit on that, and on that Univision show, the host of that show asked Obama point-blank, &#8220;Shouldn\u2019t Eric Holder be fired?&#8221;  They hit Obama point blank, and he lied and he told \u2019em it was a Bush administration program. <\/p>\n<p>The Bush administration program was called Wide Receiver.  It tracked the weapons.  It was a failure of a program and they shut it down two years before Obama took office.  The Obama regime liked the program, because they wanted to use it to curtail the Second Amendment.  That\u2019s what Fast and Furious was.  It was an effort to create mayhem with American guns so the media could report in outrage deaths committed with easily acquired AK-47s that easily ended up in the hands of Mexican drug lords. And the reason they easily ended up in the hands of drug lords is because that was the Obama policy. <\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14402\"><img id=\"eZObject_68367\" class=\"alignright\" align=\"right\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaFastFuriousUnivision.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not making this up, folks.  The Obama policy was to allow the guns to be walked from gun shops in Phoenix and other places in Arizona, across the border to Mexico into the hands of drug cartels.  Those weapons then would be used, they were used.  Three hundred people, at least, dead.  An American agent is dead, Border Patrol, and a bunch of Mexican citizens.  And it was those lives lost that Obama was asked and grilled about on Univision. <\/p>\n<p>Now, our alert Drive-Bys may be ignoring it, but Univision didn\u2019t, and their audience knows all about it.  And don\u2019t think for a minute that it\u2019s not having impact on these polls and Obama\u2019s re-election, \u2019cause it is.  Because that\u2019s just another group of people betrayed, another group of people lied to, and we saw them in the <a target=\"_blank\" view=\"line\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=14242\">Luntz focus group<\/a>, all these Obama voters in 2008 who are livid; they are angry; they bought it; they drank the Kool-Aid. They thought he was the Second Coming, that he was an instant cure for all of our ills and all that\u2019s happened is it\u2019s gotten worse, every promise a failed promise, nothing\u2019s happened, and that\u2019s an unreported story.
