CALLER: (garbled cell) Hi. Great to be here. I\u2019m just concerned about the way you deliver your presentations or whatever when it comes to things you don\u2019t care about. It\u2019s like driving a nail, driving a nail. You and Hannity both. You\u2019re —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold it. I want to understand what you\u2019re saying. What presentations?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Against Obama. What else? It\u2019s all I hear.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, give me an example. Give me an example.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, let\u2019s start — let\u2019s start with your approach from day one. When he took office, you said you hoped his administration will fail.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: That\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I knew you have that feeling \u2019cause you act dirt (sic), right?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Uh, well, given what\u2019s happened, I think I\u2019ve been vindicated. I wish none of this had happened. I wish we still had 4.7% unemployment.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Square that with (unintelligible)<\/p>\n

RUSH: I still wish that family income wasn\u2019t $55,000 a year. I wish that one in six weren\u2019t in poverty. I wish that we didn\u2019t have 47 million Americans on food stamps. But this has been an abject failure. I knew this was gonna happen.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Naaaaah! N-n-n-n-n-n-no, no, no, no, no!<\/p>\n

RUSH: (impression) “Naaaaah-n-n-n-n-n-no!” Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. You did not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There\u2019s no doubt about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. You did not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What do you mean, “N-n-n-n-n-n-no”?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re not being fair with respect to what he walked in on. You don\u2019t address it in a way to say —<\/p>\n

RUSH: What do you mean?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Wait a minute.<\/p>\n

RUSH: See?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Let me say something please.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is quite illustrative.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You do not say —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I wasn\u2019t being fair? Well, okay. How…? Let me —<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re never fair \u2019cause you have a point to make.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I do. Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re driving a nail. You and Hannity are (garbled).<\/p>\n

RUSH: See, here\u2019s the problem. I am too sure of myself. See, that\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re obnoxious, too, on the air.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, I\u2019m not obnoxious. I\u2019m confident.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Who, you? You?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, you\u2019re one of these women that does not like certitude.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (garbled) People like you —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You want everybody to be wishy-washy like you are.<\/p>\n

CALLER: N-n-n-n-n-n-no, no, no, no, no!<\/p>\n

RUSH: You want everybody to be wringing their hands and upset about everything and all this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: (garbled)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Have I not been vindicated, Beth? Do you want four more years of this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Did you look at the debate the other night? I agreed with Biden yesterday when I heard him say, “I thought the — what\u2019s his name there — Romney was supposed to be challenging the man. He\u2019s up there endorsing him!” He\u2019s (garbled) everything that Obama put into effect, and I guess that\u2019s why he\u2019s gonna (unintelligible) —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You…<\/p>\n

CALLER: (unintelligible)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Beth? Beth? Beth?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s gonna go for a tax cut!<\/p>\n

RUSH: Beth?<\/p>\n

CALLER: You know what? You know what?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No.<\/p>\n

CALLER: We are not gonna get jobs under Romney \u2019cause —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Beth?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s not going to turn around in the next (garbled).<\/p>\n

RUSH: Really…<\/p>\n

CALLER: (garbled screaming)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Really, I value my IQ, and the more time I spend with you the more it\u2019s at risk. I\u2019m telling you, you can\u2019t be pleased. On the one hand, you get mad at me for being so certain and here Romney was Mr. Agreeable and Mr. Nice and Mr. Fair, and you\u2019re all over him for not challenging Obama? You know, I\u2019ve got a story in the Stack here that says PMS is not really something that exists, premenstrual syndrome.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got it right here in the Stack. The scientists say there is no such thing as PMS. I wonder. Beth, thanks much for the call. Thanks much for the call, but I\u2019m sorry. I\u2019m so sorry that I\u2019ve offended you. I\u2019m so sorry that my ontological certitude has rubbed you wrong. I feel very bad. I\u2019m so sad that you\u2019re unhappy that Romney was too agreeable with Obama, and I\u2019m really sad that you think Biden makes sense.<\/p>\n

It makes me fear for the country.<\/p>\n

“From day one!” Day one, that\u2019s right! From day one I haven\u2019t been fair. From day one I never gave Obama a chance “Day one! Day one!” Now one thing you should know, folks, is that she told Snerdley something. Her hook to get on the program was she told Snerdley, “You know, he\u2019s driving me to Obama.” Snerdley said, “Well, maybe we can save her.<\/p>\n

“Because when Rush talks to people, he can generally talk \u2019em off the ledge. Rush is really good at that.” Well, it turns out I\u2019m not driving her to Obama; she has been there. She\u2019s been there since day one. She\u2019s still there, and there\u2019s no talking her off that ledge. But, Beth, I\u2019m glad you called. It\u2019s been a delight.
