RUSH: Here\u2019s the first Romney sound bite in Roanoke, Virginia.<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: You want four more years like the last four years?<\/p>\n

CROWD: No!<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: I mean, do you want four more years where 23 million Americans are struggling to have a good job? <\/p>\n

CROWD: No!<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: Do you want four more years where earnings are going down every year? <\/p>\n

CROWD: No!<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: Do you want four more years of trillion-dollar deficits in Washington? <\/p>\n

CROWD: No!<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: How about four more years of gridlock in Washington? <\/p>\n

CROWD: No!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: There\u2019s no question in my view that we really can\u2019t have four more years like the last four years. I know that the Obama folks are chanting, “Four more years! Four more years!” But our chant is this: “Five more days.” “Five more days” is our chant. (cheers and applause) (crowd chanting “Five more days!”)<\/p>\n

RUSH: When Romney finished, Obama landed at Green Bay, and he gave his speech. I got the sound bites from it. There wasn\u2019t anywhere near this crowd energy. Nowhere near it. Now, that\u2019s what we call anecdotal. It\u2019s not scientific. Therefore it doesn\u2019t mean anything. It would be like me trying to tell you that my brother called me last night and said his neighbor said X and so therefore that means Romney\u2019s gonna — you can\u2019t do that. But I\u2019m just saying, the energy at Obama\u2019s appearance was nothing like this. I really like this next bite.<\/p>\n

ROMNEY: I know the president\u2019s been trying to figure out some way to suggest he\u2019s got some new ideas because with all these people out of work, with three million more women in poverty today than when he took office, with 15 more million people on food stamps than when he took office, he\u2019s got to find something to suggest it\u2019s gonna be better over the next four years. And so he came up with an idea last week, which is he\u2019s gonna create the Department of Business.<\/a><\/p>\n

CROWD: (Laughter)<\/p>\n
