CALLER: It\u2019s a pleasure speak to you. It\u2019s really an honor. I mean, this is great.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I don\u2019t know how to start. Let me preface by saying I\u2019m a gay white male, I have a partner who is black, and it took me —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You\u2019re gay, you\u2019re white, and you got a black partner. How old are you?<\/p>\n
CALLER: I\u2019m 49.<\/p>\n
RUSH: So you\u2019re not 65.<\/p>\n
CALLER: No.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Do you live in like the sticks?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I live in the suburbs.<\/p>\n
RUSH: The suburbs. Not the sticks.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Not the sticks.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Steve Schmidt says people like you do not listen to this show.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, guess what? He\u2019s wrong. (laughing)<\/p>\n
RUSH: Apparently so.<\/p>\n
CALLER: But I mean it took me a year, almost a year to get my friend, my partner, to come to a Tea Party rally. It was not apprehension. It was not trepidation. It was not anxiety. It was blatant fear. Fear to come to a Tea Party rally as a black man.<\/p>\n
RUSH: And why was he afraid?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, we\u2019re KKK members. We have white hoods and we string people up. That\u2019s what they believe. That\u2019s what he believes. That\u2019s what the black community believes. That\u2019s what the minority community believes.<\/p>\n
RUSH: They believe the Tea Party\u2019s the modern incarnation of the Ku Klux Klan?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Okay, who\u2019s told \u2019em that?<\/p>\n
CALLER: The media, of course.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n
CALLER: You know, Reverend Jackson. He\u2019s been to Jackson rallies. He\u2019s been to Sharpton rallies, you know. I finally got him to go, and after the meeting he —<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, how does this guy stay your partner if he thinks that you support this stuff?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t know. Well, here. It\u2019s a long story, but after the meeting, he goes, “I\u2019ve never felt so unremarkable in my entire life. I was treated as a person, not as a demographic. Not as an exploitative type of person. Not someone who\u2019s defective. I\u2019m a person. Not someone who is defective and needs protection and needs care.”<\/p>\n
RUSH: By the Tea Party, you were treated as a human being, you mean?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Right. Yes. He was not treated any differently because of his skin color. He was treated as a person, as opposed to being to a Sharpton or a Jackson rally, where you are defective, you need protection, you need care.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Next time you talk to your partner since he thinks you go to KKK rallies, I want you to ask him who founded the KKK?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, let\u2019s see, Wilson was a big proponent of it. And half the schools in the city —<\/p>\n
RUSH: It was the Democrats.<\/p>\n
CALLER: — are Wilson schools.<\/p>\n
RUSH: The KKK was a bunch of Democrats.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes, exactly. Doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n
RUSH: But that\u2019s what we do here at EIB. We treat people like individuals, not a demographic.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n
RUSH: We don\u2019t target or niche target this program.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Exactly. But yet he still voted Democratic, he goes, “I\u2019m black, I\u2019m a Democrat.” I go, “Excuse me? What?” “I\u2019m black, I have to vote Democrat.”<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, let me tell you what this underscores. See, I said this last week<\/a>, I said it again today<\/a>, we\u2019re beyond the point now where words or policies are gonna change anything. Been there, done that. We now have to be patient. Only events are going to upset the current status quo. You see, folks, the Republicans will win again. One of the things that worries me — and I don\u2019t sit around worrying. I don\u2019t want you to picture me at home moping around fretting, worrying. I don\u2019t do that. But it has crossed my mind that the American people still are the most resilient bunch. <\/p>\n At some point a majority of us are not gonna put up with this economic decline anymore and are just gonna say to hell with it and do something about it. And we are going to create a recovery of some kind, yeah, probably in our lifetime, it may happen in our lifetime. And the thing that will really frost me is if Obama\u2019s policies get credit for it. When it will be the exact opposite. It will be the industriousness, the creativity, ingenuity of the American people saying, “To heck with it, I\u2019m not participating anymore.” We have a political party that\u2019s made it okay to participate. We have a political party, the Democrats said, “It\u2019s okay, you\u2019re a victim, it\u2019s okay to be the way you are. These people have mistreated you, they\u2019ve discriminated against you, you are a victim. We\u2019re here to take care of you and make it right.” <\/p>\n At some point they\u2019re gonna see that there is a better life. It\u2019s always happened, it\u2019s a cyclical thing, and I don\u2019t know when it\u2019s gonna happen, but events will happen that will cause Republicans to win again. But it will be the events, and it will be the decline due to these big government policies that leads to the Republican victory. It will not be a bunch of Republicans running around saying things, obviously. It\u2019s clear that the Republican Party today, and this could change next year. I mean, this is still the postelection aftermath where there\u2019s shell shock depression out there. I can\u2019t emphasize how much they all thought we were gonna win. They thought Romney was gonna win this and frankly I think Obama thought he was gonna lose.<\/p>\n I think this election result has shocked everybody, and our side is no different. I think they\u2019re running around shocked and surprised, they can\u2019t figure it out, and so they\u2019re doing what Republicans always do. The Democrats never do, by the way. When they lose, they never say<\/a>, “Man, you better become anti-abortion. You know what, we better oppose gay marriage.” The Democrats never do that. We do. We start beating ourselves up. And as we sit here today on November 19th, it is patently obvious that there aren\u2019t very many Republicans who want to run for office breaking up the welfare state<\/a>. That\u2019s what getting mad at Romney over the Santa Claus<\/a> comment is all about. No, no, no, no. We don\u2019t want to be seen as disagreeing with what\u2019s happening now. Because that\u2019s compassion, and we want to be seen as compassionate, too.<\/p>\n But I\u2019m just telling you, something is gonna happen. I don\u2019t know what it is, but what Obama\u2019s doing cannot sustain itself. These policies will lead to an implosion and a decline and perhaps a collapse. This can\u2019t go on. Companies can behave like this because we can print money, but it cannot go on interminably. There\u2019s gonna be something that happens somewhere, sometime. Don\u2019t know when. ‘Cause it always happens. Look, we recovered from, what, four terms of FDR? We recovered from Woodrow Wilson. We\u2019ve done it. It\u2019ll happen again. The problem now is that it\u2019s really become institutional. Obamacare is a ball game changer. That\u2019s the thing because this empowers government like it\u2019s never been empowered before over every aspect of your life, in ways you can\u2019t even conceive right now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" RUSH: Here\u2019s Mark somewhere in Pennsylvania.
