Tom, great to have you with us, sir.  Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Hey, it\u2019s great to be with you again, too.  I\u2019ve spoken to you a couple of times, but, you know, I was reading how the media was coming out with their long knives against Woodward, and it occurred to me, you know, here\u2019s a guy that comes out and speaks the truth, and all of a sudden, &#8220;Oh, my God, you know, what has happened?&#8221;  And their sacred cow, the liberals, all of a sudden turned against him.  My question is, in this kind of environment, how do you get the truth through to the low-information voter?  It doesn\u2019t seem like we have a chance.  But then I thought again to myself, you know, maybe the best thing to do is we need more <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=13073\">bomb throwers like Woodward<\/a> and Ted Cruz from Texas. You know, just keep hitting \u2019em with this stuff.  Keep putting \u2019em on the defensive whether it\u2019s true or not, because that\u2019s their tactic.  I mean, that\u2019s a Dingy Harry tactic of he hasn\u2019t paid taxes in ten years or something like that, talking about Romney and all the lies that they told about him.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_73510\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/RushGOPDems.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Hm-hm.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  We gotta start doing the same things they\u2019re doing.  Fight fire with fire, make innuendos, make statements.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Now, Tom, I had a story, I didn\u2019t use it.  I had a story last week that had 25 absolutely horrible things that have happened in this country in the last 75 years all done by Democrats that they were never blamed for.  Things that really hurt the country, things that hurt people, and they never got blamed for it.  So if you say, okay, they\u2019re gonna say Romney didn\u2019t pay his taxes in ten years, then we go out and lie about Harry Reid, say he didn\u2019t pay his taxes in ten years.  The battle\u2019s bigger than that because where the American people are right now, they believe the lies told about Republicans.  Whatever the truth is about the Democrats, they don\u2019t care. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"eZObject_73511\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaFanClub.jpg\"\/><BR\/>And you know why? They think that the Democrats care about people and that the Republicans don\u2019t.  It may be a little more involved than that, but when you strip it all away, there\u2019s a reason why stuff doesn\u2019t stick to the Democrats.  Now, you might say it\u2019s branding, it\u2019s marketing, it\u2019s they can\u2019t do anything wrong because they never intend to.  They really love people.  They\u2019re the ones trying to help people, and the Republicans don\u2019t care about anybody but the rich.  The Republicans don\u2019t care.  Tom, all we can do is to just keep pounding the truth.  You just keep pounding it.  Eventually the truth will out.  Now, a lot of people don\u2019t have faith in that.  I happen to, but it takes time and it\u2019s not universal.
