RUSH: Let\u2019s go to Albany in New York. This Peggy. Peggy, thank you for calling. Great to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you. Rush, I\u2019m calling about, I believe, that the president is in denial about terrorism. And he\u2019s been that way from the beginning. Yes, he has drones that come across and do the deeds that have to be done, but that\u2019s because he has to answer to some career people. But if you take Fort Hood, Benghazi, the Fort Dix Six people, the recruiter that was killed in Arkansas, the Times Square bomber, okay, he wasn\u2019t successful, but the other people were. They are all in the same category. These are jihadists who come from Islamic countries — not all Islamics are bad, obviously — comes from Islamic countries who want to kill us. They hate us. I\u2019m a woman. I have freedom. I can do whatever I want.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why do they hate us? People want to know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They hate us because of our freedom.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Because I have the freedom —<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know that these people hate female athletes as much as —<\/p>\n

CALLER: They hate females, period.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — as much as they do females in a bikini.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: They do. Now, you said you think the president is in denial.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, absolutely. He does not want to admit that there is terrorism. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Why?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He has these views of America that are, I hate to say it because he\u2019s our president and I want to respect him, but other people have said this and got in trouble, but he\u2019s not like a real American. I can\u2019t explain it. But —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, you can, you just wisely don\u2019t want to say it. Look, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s in denial.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, he doesn\u2019t want to prosecute these people like terrorists.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s true. But it\u2019s not because he\u2019s in denial. It\u2019s because he\u2019s trying to convince everybody\u2019s Al-Qaeda\u2019s on the run. He\u2019s trying to convince everybody he\u2019s defeated terrorism. He\u2019s trying to convince everybody — for the advancement of his agenda — that we beat it back. Remember, this guy wants to cut the defense budget dramatically. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What did Obama talk about in his remarks? The need for diversity. If we\u2019re more diverse, we\u2019ll send a message that the terrorists don\u2019t need to attack us. Not only does he try to create the impression he\u2019s defeated it, he actually wants — don\u2019t forget who he is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Messianic complex. He thinks still, I think, that he can talk \u2019em out of it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely. Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘Cause he\u2019s a good guy. He\u2019s the first good guy this country\u2019s ever really had. And if he just has a chance to talk to \u2019em, like the Cairo speech, they\u2019ll go away. They\u2019ll realize we\u2019re not a threat, that we love \u2019em, we have no intention to harm \u2019em, and they\u2019ll stand down and therefore the only people that commit terrorism will be white guys that do videos that we\u2019ll put in jail.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, he got away with it in Benghazi, with the whole Benghazi thing right before the election. And he got away with it with Fort Hood, saying workplace violence. I mean, some of this stuff makes me so angry because so many people in my family have been in the military.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know what you mean by “in denial.” Denial means he\u2019s not seeing reality. He knows full well what\u2019s going on. He\u2019s trying to make sure that you don\u2019t see it that way. His purpose is to talk you out of believing what you just said you believe here. That\u2019s the objective.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
