RUSH: Here\u2019s Rebecca in Plainwell, Michigan, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, hi, Rush! Yeah, I\u2019d like to throw a couple of suggestions out before I get to my real question, and one of them is about President Obama and where he was on the night of Benghazi. I haven\u2019t heard anybody put out there that, you know, maybe he was in one of those rooms doing “a little blow,” and maybe that\u2019s why he was so anxious to shut the White House down. That\u2019s that one.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, there\u2019s no evidence whatsoever on that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s just fun. Just fun. Just for fun.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Doing a big blow?<\/p>\n

CALLER: “Doing a little blow.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: A little blow.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Like in his book he admitted he did “a little blow” growing up?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t think that\u2019s happened since Clinton was there, but you may be more informed than I. What\u2019s the other thing?<\/p>\n

CALLER: The other thing is with this Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman case. How will the Hispanics like it how the media is trying to pick winners and losers in this thing and having the Hispanic side obviously the loser?<\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: They\u2019re trying to turn a Hispanic guy into a white guy for the express purpose of seeing he\u2019s convicted.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, we need to keep hammering that he is Hispanic, you know? But, anyway, here\u2019s the real question. I don\u2019t understand why we allow the narrative to go to the Democrats who will tell us how we can win our elections and all that, when we have Obamacare that\u2019s widely disapproved of. We have that momentum behind \u2019em, and yet, we still let them say —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: We won. We won in 2000, president. In 2004, we won. In 2010, we won the House. And it\u2019s like it\u2019s not true. We do win elections!<\/p>\n

RUSH: I agree with you on this one. I\u2019ve searched, and I\u2019ve had my theories, and you\u2019ve heard them, to explain why it is the Republicans want to listen to Democrats tell \u2019em how to win elections. I\u2019m telling you, it baffles me like I can\u2019t believe. Look, very quickly here are the reasons. First, money. The big money Republicans want the cheap labor, so this is what it takes to make sure there\u2019s an endless supply. <\/p>\n

Second, the Republican consultants have a lot of sway over candidates, telling \u2019em, “This is how you gonna win election. You\u2019ve got to break out!” The third thing is the Republican establishment not really fond of its base, knows that this will irritate the base, and wouldn\u2019t mind if the base split. There are any number of explanations, but none of \u2019em make any common-sense. I don\u2019t know how many times I\u2019ve said this. I\u2019m blue in the face.<\/p>\n

Bob Menendez and any of these other guys, Chuck Schumer, tell us, “You know, you guys are never gonna win another election unless you do this,” as though they\u2019re really interested in us winning? The main thing about this is, if we\u2019re to believe them, the Democrats are saying, “You know what? We\u2019re willing to share some of these Hispanic votes with you just so you guys survive.” <\/p>\n

<\/a>So maybe they want a Republican Party to survive that is a constantly beatable minority so they always have an… You know what? This does make some sense, because the Democrat Party cannot exist without villains and demons that it impugns and criticizes and discredits. And if there were not an opposition party, they\u2019d have to invent one.<\/p>\n

So who knows? Maybe they know what they\u2019re doing is they\u2019re creating a permanent-minority, always-beatable Republican Party — with the Republican Party\u2019s assistance. Now, the Republican Party thinks that what they\u2019re doing is their route back to victory. Don\u2019t forget that. They really do. Don\u2019t ask me to explain it. None of it\u2019s rooted in common-sense, and, as such, I can\u2019t.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
