RUSH: Back to the phones. Joyce in Lincoln, Nebraska. I\u2019m glad you called. We got a little bit more time now. I wanted to take time to thank you. Those are awfully nice things that you said.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s true, though. It\u2019s really true. And you have taught me how to have a sense of humor yet be able to outtalk liberals, and they see my point.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I really like, in just two years, you have now become a source authority for people, that they seek you out to have things explained to \u2019em. That\u2019s big.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They do. They ask me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s big.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And it\u2019s because of you, so that\u2019s why I\u2019ve nicknamed you the King of Think, bulletproof, and the renaissance man. I\u2019m not easily impressed, but your brain impresses me, okay? And I\u2019m not just saying that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s probably what you say to all the guys, though.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I do not. I\u2019ve been married to the same man for 40 years, and he is a very bright man, and you, your brain amazes me.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I know that\u2019s not why you called, though.<\/p>\n

CALLER: It isn\u2019t. I called because — well, for one thing, I made up a jingle on the Weiner guy, and I e-mailed it to you, and I Twittered it to you, and it\u2019s so funny, it cracks me up. I laugh out loud. Maybe nobody else thinks it\u2019s funny, but it\u2019s pretty funny. Anyway, I called because I loved the talk about cigars last Friday on your show. I do not drink, and I do not smoke, but my husband and I are having our 40th anniversary, and I want to buy an expensive single malt, whatever that is, and the best cigars there is, \u2019cause I know he likes cigars, and he needs to relax because his job is so stressful, and I thought, a-ha, King of Think will know what to tell me to buy.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So you\u2019re looking for some guidance on the finest single malts and cigars; is that right?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s correct. And I live in Nebraska.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What does that mean, that you might not be able to find what I\u2019m gonna recommend?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah. I\u2019m gonna have a hard time.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, you won\u2019t. No, you won\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: ‘Cause I\u2019m gonna give you some options.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Because it\u2019s hard to name just one single malt. There are many. It\u2019s a Scotch that\u2019s not blended. Just one barrel. And there are many of them, and it\u2019s like anything else, it\u2019s individual taste. What might be my favorite could not be somebody else\u2019s, but it doesn\u2019t mean that mine\u2019s better, just I have a preference for it. So I\u2019ll give you a couple.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Glenmorangie<\/a> is a great single malt.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Comes in a number of different years. The older it is, the more expensive it\u2019s gonna be.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And the second would be Macallan<\/a>. And the same thing there, the older it is, the more expensive. Macallan 20 is good, and you should be able to get that anywhere.<\/p>\n

CALLER: At a liquor store?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, okay, I will. I\u2019ll get the Macallan.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if Walmart had it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, my goodness.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you can probably get Dom Perignon at Walmart.<\/p>\n

CALLER: ‘Cause I saw a movie once where a guy sold his friend\u2019s car for 300 bucks and went out and bought a bottle of single malt, and I thought, “I\u2019m gonna do that before I die.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Some of them — I don\u2019t want to scare you, but depending on how old, some of them are much more expensive than that. But you can find a great, great bottle for that price, and maybe even a little less.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Even if you get a single malt that\u2019s 10 years old, a single malt that\u2019s 10 years old is gonna be fine, 10, 15, 20. Now, cigars…<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s gonna be a different thing. You know, I don\u2019t know whether his taste is mild, kick ass —<\/p>\n

CALLER: He loves cigars and he needs to mellow out. His job is so stressful.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I want to sit around the fire and mellow out.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. Let me give you a couple here. Again, I\u2019m at a bit of a disadvantage because there are so many good ones that I\u2019m gonna anger some of these guys that I leave out. I hope they will understand. You\u2019re saying mellow, and let me just give you three.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you might be able to find one of these. If you can find cigars by Arturo Fuente, that\u2019s the brand name. And then you can find the Don Carlos or the Fuente Fuente OpusX. But find something by the Fuentes. It will be awesome.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: The other one, Ashton<\/a>, is another mild, good cigar. Macanudo<\/a> is another good cigar. And if you want one really, really, really strong —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, we want something that — we don\u2019t care that it tastes mellow. I want him to mellow out.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, this will work. This will work.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Here we have La Flor Dominicana <\/a>—<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, man.<\/p>\n

RUSH: La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019ll have to spell that one.<\/p>\n

RUSH: La Flor is two words, L-a, then F-l-o-r.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Then Dominicana, as in Dominican without the N.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And then double, d-o-u-b-l-e.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ligero, l-i-g-e-r-o.<\/p>\n

CALLER: L-i-g-e-r-o.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Chisel.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Chisel.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. And that\u2019s the shape.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Are they plugged and everything, or do you have to bite off the end and —<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, you get a clipper. You get a clipper and clip off the end.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Will they do that for me?<\/p>\n

RUSH: They will.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019ll have all that. They\u2019ll have lighters, clippers. They\u2019ll have everything you need there.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. And where do I go for something like that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, now, in Lincoln, I don\u2019t know. I\u2019m sure there are tobacco shops. Google “tobacco” shops in your area or go online and buy these things online and have \u2019em shipped to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Can you have liquor and cigars shipped to you?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I wouldn\u2019t do it with the liquor. You could.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Find the liquor, you\u2019ll find the Scotch. Cigars, you can have them shipped in particular.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. And they\u2019re Macalalor.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Macanudo.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Macanoodle.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No. M-a-c-a-n-u-d-o, Macanudo.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Macanoodle is a macaroni. Anyway, you can\u2019t go wrong with any of these things. (interruption) Snerdley, what do you mean you just checked Dom Perignon at Walmart? You went online? You didn\u2019t see Dom Perignon at Walmart? Might not be online. I can\u2019t believe that they\u2019re not gonna have this, but she\u2019ll find it. I\u2019m guessing Walmart\u2019s got it.
