RUSH: Mary in Mountain Home, Arkansas, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hello. My husband takes kidney dialysis and there\u2019s a 12.3% cut be proposed and the center is not sure they can make it on that cut, and our local hospital, which is fabulous, possibly a closure in 2017, again, they\u2019re not being fully reimbursed by Medicare.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait. Obamacare is supposed to fix that.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, it\u2019s getting serious. You hear about like unemployment, you know, and you feel for those, but when it gets close to home, you know, then you feel it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, Obamacare, you want dialysis, you\u2019re gonna get it, and it\u2019s either gonna be free or cost less than what it costs you now. That\u2019s what I thought.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They\u2019re worried down at the center, let\u2019s put it that way.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Because they can\u2019t make it on a 12.3% cut.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Why are they being cut? Obamacare is supposed to take care of all that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s not supposed to happen. Hospital\u2019s getting cut? Medical centers being cut?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I think my husband deserves better. He\u2019ll be 79 in 29 days. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Uh-oh.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s served in the Marines in Korea in a tent during the war at 19 below zero.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I am being facetious with you, as you know. This is happening precisely because Obamacare is increasing everybody\u2019s costs.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Your hospital can\u2019t afford it because they can\u2019t comply with Obamacare.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RUSH: And they\u2019re having to make cost cuts in order to actually stay open. And, unfortunately, you know, there\u2019s a thing in Obamacare called death panels that are —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — gonna decide, you know, who gets what. Who gets paid for and who doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Is Arkansas a red state or a blue state, do you know?<\/p>\n

CALLER: It\u2019s a Republican state.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you got even more trouble. That\u2019s just the way they look at it. I hate hearing this. This is the greatest health care system in the world. There\u2019s no excuse. Mary, there\u2019s no excuse for this. The greatest health care system in the world and it\u2019s being dismantled under the guise of a bunch of other things, to make it cheaper, make it available to everybody, make it affordable.
